- On Sunday, July 9 at 11:58 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched 22 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida.
This was the 16th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew Demo-2, ANASIS-II, CRS-21, Transporter-1, Transporter-3, and now eleven Starlink missions. - Наука та технологія
No matter how many time I watch the stage 1 landing.. I am simply amazed....
ALL TIME THAT IS INSANE
That's how spaceships land in sci-fi movies.
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist2 Does Jesus Christ launch rockets?
I would love to see a documentary about SpaceX. Really I would love to see all the names and faces behind the scenes that make all this happen. This stuff is amazing!!
I was outside and don't see anything? What happens with the falcon?
Theres like hundred of them already lol
@@xaviergodard9066Thousands
@@xaviergodard9066 They talk about Elon and Gwynne all the time and we always see the announcers. I am taking about the engineers, welders, machinist, fabricators, mission control personal, launch director, ship personell, the list goes on.
Eric Berger has a great book called Liftoff that documents the early history of SpaceX through to initial success. Some books on the space program can be a little dry, but this is a crackling read. Highly recommended!
Record breaking 16th flight of a flight proven Falcon 9 booster ..
18:08 :- Landing confirmed !!
Congrats SpaceX ...
First
I wonder if any of these will end up being able to refly 100 times such as what the block 5 was suspected to be able to do and if any of them fail during a mission such as this if it would put a monkey wrench into the launch cadence or not
@@dutchuniverse A nice pressure wash would be nice from time to time! 😉
@@dutchuniverse What ??
Was this mission a failure ??
Amazing! I remember when the first booster to land 5 times was a milestone, then 10… keep it coming! Every successful landing is a slap in the face to the congressmen that were against private space companies and reusable rockets, claiming that it’s not feasible or cost effective. They just wanted to protect the overspending by NASA since it provides jobs in their constituents area.
Watching those boosters fall 100 km down and 500+ km downrange and make perfect landings on a small barge in the middle of the ocean never gets old.
Kate Tice does a great job. She has a lot of experience talking us through these launches and it shows.
Indeed :-) But the script during launch is now pretty much the same every time. I noticed much higher resolution this time from the shipboard camera, better illumination too.
These launches dont get old; every lift off is an emotional rush for me
Love how seamless it is every launch
18:10 loved the way Water present on the drone ship vapourised 🔥
I still smile every time I see that first stage land. It never gets old.
Another insane reusability record broken!
16th launch and landing for this booster!
I really hope SpaceX opts to put B1058 on display rather than expending/scrapping it, because it carries a lot of history, including being the first private rocket booster to launch humans into space.
I wonder if any of these will reach the 100 reflight ceiling the block 5 was anticipated to be capable of and what would happen if any of them would fail during a reflight
They can try for a other landing!
@@dutchuniverse At this rate it will take 15-16 more years before reaching 100 flights
@@TheStopwatchGod with the launch cadence roughly doubling every year, I estimate it may be possible for it to happen in about 3-5 years if the Starship program faces more delays from being operational
😂😂😂 yeah they beat a record that they are only in competition in with themselves.
Congrats to Space X, truly a marvelous feat. Excited to see what Starship and Falcon 9 has in store for us in the future!
The tracking shots and camera reliability have improved so much, really makes me feel part of the effort- Go SpaceX, Go Falcon!
Congrats on the 16th landing. Still is amazing that you make this look so easy
Brief (possibly unintentional) shot of the tank innards are 18:46. Pause and < > view.
I've got a great screenshot of what you're talking about, but I don't see a way to post it.

No matter how many successful launches may happen, it boggles my mind to see them really happen! Great, great work SpaceX team! Cheers!
I got to watch it in person!
Just magical that they keep doing these launches with such regularity.
Shame they are mostly for their own satellites
@@mervstash3692 Why is that a shame? try to answer without "errrmmm muh gud capitalism bad"
@@mervstash3692so
@gethprime7781 it shows that there is no booming commercial space industry and there is no way for SpaceX to survive losing millions of dollars by the day. Hundreds of millions on the days when old Starship explodes.
@@mervstash3692 They make 3% a year, yes not much but it is the same thing Elon did with Tesla over the years. A few low profit years to force innovation in the market is the goal. Starlink is obviously profitable as well as the up and coming missions that NASA will be paying them large contracts for. So to each their own I guess go make a profitable company
This one booster has flown as many times as the delta 4 heavy will ever fly. The top 3 boosters total 46 flights now, which is more flights than quite a few rocket families have made. Love the good work!
including the most-flown shuttle, Columbia, had 39 flights.
Congrats, next stop catch a super heavy
I saw the flight from Jacksonville, Fl. Nice, even with a few clouds in the way ;-)
I love how SpaceX and Elon Musk work to make their efforts so public........This stuff is so cool!
There ARE those who MIGHT call it advertising. . . Would I be watching this via my Starlink System?
Bare minimum shown.... enough to keep people interested or satisfied
@@kimohono5667 Yeah, I'd like to see them securing the rocket on the drone ship. It's my understanding that they have little robots that come out and secure it enough for it to be safe for humans to board the drone ship.
Oh yeah, totally Elon musk‘s efforts.
Yes I enjoy reading about what it takes to refurbish this rocket, all the info they have provided about that is amazing...... (there is none)
We love our Starlink service
Same here! We are celebrating our 2nd anniversary of internet from outer space here at The Ranch, two counties away from Canada! 😎✌️
Fantastic Show! What a Machine! Great Job SpaceX Workers!
Does this stuff amaze other people the way it does me EVERY TIME...
Great work as usual! Landing is at 18:06
❤CONGRATULATIONS SpaceX on this record breaking 16th launch of this booster and recovery! This is always incredible and exciting to watch. Much respect to everyone involved in making this happen and possible. GO SPACEX GO!!! ❤❤❤
Gotta love those "record breaking" callouts! Keep them comming. 🥳💫
I don’t know if people have yet realized this but the speed at which these launches happen serve a different purpose. They’ve become a proof of concept that when we start building structures in space and on the moon we’ll be able to send resupply missions on a consistent basis
The accuracy of the landings makes me look forward to seeing the booster land back at the launch pad and be caught by the arms. That will be an amazing sight.
This is simply astonishing!!! I can not get enough from those Drone Ship Landings!!! Congratulations SpaceX!!! 😀👍🛰🚀
I can wait to see Falcon Heavy in action soon!!! 🚀🚀
The timing of having these success's is invaluable. These people at Space X will be called the Pioneers in 7 years as the first humans land on Mars or whatever unthinkable task gets completed. They got the landing thing figured out...now that's determination.
Great landing as always.
I love seeing the first stage land, can't believe that's practically common now. So incredible.
Sweet sixteen! Congratulations!
Never ever gets old.... Batting over 1000 now... waiting for that other moment... I will be watching all the time.. I hope and pray it never comes. any event I will be here watching.
Never gets old..
Always a pleasure to watch. Thanks to SpaceX Team
THAT ROAR ON LIFTOFF WAS SO AMAZING HOLY MOLY
Amazing landing 🎉
Very nice narration. Clear concise diction and ability to instantly stop talking when someone else makes a call out. Certain other parties could certainly take the lesson.
Congrats on another successful flight.
Picture perfect booster landing! I can't wait to see those arms grab a booster out of the air. So excited. Thanks Elon!
Cool to see the liquid oxygen go into a big blob after seco.
awesome thanks
Amazing stuff. Great job SpaceX. Great job Starlink.
Let’s see Zuck do THAT😂
Or Bezos
Zuck fixin to be coming off the top rope with the people's elbow
Zuck aint even trying to do this
😂 I should have been expecting this comment, but you got me while scrolling! Thx for the laugh! 😎✌️
Every time I have to remind myself how much work goes into these launches. It starts to look easy and routine after a while and that’s insane. I don’t want to ever get bored of this ❤
Des images magnifiques avec une commentatrice à la voix douce et commentaires suffisants. Parfait ne changez rien.
Congratulations on another record! 16 takeoffs and landings!
I was in Titusville at the time of the launch, and I sat on a chair for 4 hours waiting for the launch. The moment the rocket lifted off, I was mesmerised by how SpaceX is able to launch such beautiful vehicles.
Every time I watch one of these I am amazed.
I am just open-mouthed in awe everytime I watch the launch!!!!
Incredible as always! Congrats to the entire SpaceX team! ❤️🚀🎯
Congrats on the 16th launch and landing of that booster! Incredible engineering.
200 plus landings and I'm still amazed at SpaceX. WOW.. still.
Sweet 16, well done!
Always a pleasure to watch. Thanks to SpaceX Team. Love how seamless it is every launch.
Big congratulations on another milestone!
You're amazing guys. Thank's a lot.
Good job team
This never ceases to amaze me.
So, normally the camera is zoomed in to much. This time we see a brilliant
" flower " at 12:00 and it's not zoom in!!!!
as a young boy i sat enthralled on the floor watching the Apollo missions 50 years later star link missions just don't have the same juice. hope i live to see the beginning of Mars colonization!!!
Great 👍
Watching this never gets old. I'm still amazed they've landed stage one now 16 times! That's craziness!
WOW!!! CONGRATULATIONS for the 16th times 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
No matter how many times I watched this I will always be surprised
YAY! Tank cam! More please! zero-g fluids is the best :D
Great video. Gratitude for sharing
This never gets old. I love this stuff!
Once again a flawless launch and landing. Love to watch this
16th landing of that booster!! That’s what’s up!!! Bullseye 🎯 too!!
Well the most satisfying part of the mission is the landing. I know there is a perfect landing coming soon to a screen near you. I've seen several landings some that were extremely close but without the human intervention we cannot say
Anyway keep on doing what you do best I love watching the boosters land. I wish I were younger as I would love to be a part of the team that makes this happen.
Saw them flying over Bermuda last night AMAZING !!!
16th wow, sweet 16 , go SpaceX. Great work. Great success.
That's just incredible! I'm glad Elon figured out the cameras on the landin platform, so they don't cut out anymore.
cause they now use their own Starlink systems on the droneships, lol.
proof is in the pudding I guess.
Been a while since they stopped cutting out
@@Marrrrrko47 The resolution was higher this time.
Wow how interesting a screensaver
We just saw the line of the Starlink satellites from this launch over Paphos in Cyprus at 10 pm local time 10 July - lovely straight line with minimal drift. First time for me.👍
acabo de ver el tren de los satélites de ESTA misión en concreto (Starlink-91 (6-5) // B1058) sobrevolando mi zona... qué maravilla de la ingeniería, dios mío
I saw this launch! It was my first launch ever, actually. It's definitely something I'll remember
I like the intros from SpaceX!
Go SpaceX!
Thanks SpaceX! Excellent job. 👌🙂🚀
Its fricking awesome each time the rumble kicks in
Congratulations Spacex!
Never gets old!
For most people, it is insane, for spaceX, it's another day at work 😅
Inspiring, as always
Great Job 👍
I’d like to hear all about the economics of SpaceX launches, and how they compare to other launch platforms.
If your satellite is small enough to go up as part of a rideshare program, SpaceX will put 200Kg in LEO for $1.3 million. For a dedicated launch, SpaceX will put up to 22,000Kg into LEO for around $70 million. Arianne 5 with roughly the same payload costs between $165 million and $220 million. When the shuttle was operational it cost $450 million upwards per launch, depending on exactly what you counted in the price.
Thank you for the chapter markers :)
Go Starlink - go Falcon, das ist jedesmal magisch.
Congratulations SpaceX on your 46th launch 🚀 and landing for the year. Go SpaceX StarShip, no one can beat you. 👍👍👍👍👍
This rocket is a beast. It works since how many flights now witout any issue???
Future❤
Kickass rides space x 🤘 y'all rock
So chill
Space X, making space travel as mundane as a shuttle bus!😊
13:13 nine flights for these fairings - is that at the top end for flight-proven fairings? Sounds like a lot! How far away from having a glide-ratio are fairings? Would it be possible to 'fly' them closer to land to reduce cost of recovery?
Go SpaceX 🚀
