The dress looks great on you, but being an alteration seamstress, I really want to put some darts in the bodice and re cut the armholes, so you can move without the dress shifting. I'm all about tailoring to show a person's figure off.

This a neat blooper, everyone's reactions were very funny! .......I have to ask though, what was the issue? The first time I could see that Sarah's sleeve had moved, but the other two times, I couldn't see anything wrong. I guess because this was being recorded, it was important that her dress be flawless...?
They said the second time it was a crease in her boobs and thus she answered "that's called cleavage" 😂

It's to do with continuity I think. They need to be able to produce different length edits of the show, and need to have the flexibility to chop out parts of the show and join the bits either side of the chop without the join being made obvious by a sudden jump of her sleeve or whatever. At least I assume that's what it's do with.
@@jadziajan This was a show that was recorded for the DVD release so they had to make sure there won't be significant changes in how she looks between edits and she'll look roughly the same, if she will have her sleeves jumping high and low between each joke it will look weird.
After the first time? I think the issue is an over-eager costumier / stylist. It's not a movie set, dear, you're kind of disrupting the show now. Sarah is more than up to managing it (as we see) but I bet she wasn't happy after the third interruption!

Oh gosh this was hilarious AND the brutality of being a woman and ppl obsessing over your body like you'd not likely see it with men, thus they try to tackle it during recording to spare her some of the vitriol that is - by default - expected to come in anyway.
I love how everyone handled this, including the very brilliant audience following Sarah after she set the tone on how she handles it!

I have to point out that it's a woman that goes on stage to sort out the dress. Sadly it's other women that would comment on such things (note it's women's magazines that will have sections pointing out that a celeb has cellulite or has put on weight. Most men couldn't care less)
And FYI the reason for someone sorting it out is nothing to do with Sarah being a woman. It's to do with continuity. Any change to the outfit will cause huge problems with editing, as they won't be able to hide any retakes, moved sections, or deleted sections.
Aside from the comedy, I'd love to be able to make that horn sound! I'd have some fun with that!

For anyone confused, I think cos they film the dvd at 2 different dates to allow multi angles, her dress has to be continuous so when they cut between shots it’s not going creased, wrinkled, creased, wrinkled etc

Even if funny.... the interrupting was really not necessary. I had to go back 4 times to even see what she did and still I hardly saw a difference. Makes me think it was just for the sake of the bit..... but if that was the case... wouldn't they have made it something really silly..... 😯
