Karl i can tell you I've seen truckers drop 4 grand on lights for their rigs up at Walcott, go out into the parking lot and start their install on their $150k Pete and still not do as nice a job as you do at 1/14 scale. That things super clean man, keep up the good work. I'm a new subscriber.
This is a fantastic build. Can I ask, the front is Peterbilt grill set and lights, also seen you bought front fenders from truescale rc On a bio on a website. Did you cut off the grand hauler ones ? , and which did you buy as they have a couple listed. Truck is stunning 👌
It's a new 3d printed hood as well. I cut the whole hood off and put the new truescalerc one with the new fenders on it.I got the hood that says it works with the tamiya cab, and then I got the fenders that showed the biggest dimensions. I really don't know what the difference is, but I figured the bigger dimensions ought to be some fenders that wrap further around. The grill/headlights is a LESU grill I found on semijoerctruckshop.com/. I added the swan and Peterbilt Logo that I had found on E-bay. It does not come with those on it.
Sir, this is going to be a stupid question on your headlights, you did mount them on the grill. How many inches up from the top of the bumper? Thank you for your time and help.
The headlight brackets are part of the grill. This is not the grill that came with the kit. This is a Lesu Aluminum grill from semijoerctruckshop.com/index.php?id_product=732&controller=product&search_query=grill&results=18
Would u consider doing custom build for customer? Would like to send you real rig pics and details and see how well you could match? Didnt know if that would be anything you'd consider. Would be very interested if so, please reply.
