- Lyrics:
Sherry, Sherry baby
Sherry, Sherry baby
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonight
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonight
(Why don't you come out) to my twist party
(Come out) Where the bright moon shines
(Come out) We'll dance the night away
I'm gonna make-a you mi-yi-yi-yine
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonigh
(Come, come, come out tonight)
(Come, come, come out tonight)
You-oo-ooh better ask your mama
Tell her everything is all right
(Why don't you come out) with your red dress on
(Come out) Mmm, you look so fine
(Come out) Move it nice and easy
Girl, you make me lose my mind
She - e - e-e-e-e-ry baby
She - e - rry, can you come out tonight
(Come, come, come out tonight)
(Come, come, come out tonight).
My high school sweethearts name was Sherry, we broke up our senior year and I went off to Vietnam. Fifty two years later after both of us lost our spouses we have reconnected. I play this song for her every time we get into the car to go anywhere!
Are you dead now?
Jeeeeerrrrrryyyyyy
@@lotsofrandomfilms9991 Rude, but the guy has to be around 71 years of age, which means he's still got a lot of time left to go.
Its funny how after so many years you can reconnect with someone you have a lot in common with ✌
Jerry.. can I do a mini documentary on you and your forever sweetheart?? If yes contact me at shariliz2711@gmail.com. My name is Shari😊
This was my grandma's favorite song because her name is Sherry. 👵🏼❤️
RIP April 3, 1959 - January 2, 2018 😢😢
christoferdrewrocks1 *sadness noise
She was born a few weeks before me! Gone too young! I am saddened by your loss. Time to dance for your Grandma Sherry. She would want you to be happy, luv. Life is for you to live now and to sing this song for her. Sing your new songs, too!! Let us , then, be up and doing, with a heart for any fate. Best of luck to you, Christoferdrewrocks1 !
So sorry to hear that! She died so young. I can't believe she was only 59 1/2 based on my research...
Props to your nan yo!
My grandma passed away to (June 6 1959 - April 29 2021) ❤
Although I am only 8 months old, I still think this is better than the music of today
Lol
Same
+Morgan Digance Typing from the womb to tell you how awesome you are.
+Morgan Freeman i read this in morgan freemans voice and i'm sure im not the only one ;)
+ryan scott Well I am now that you put the idea in my head, now I can only hear it in his voice...
it's lit
fam
You have to be a real Jersey girl like me to appreciate the music and places of the time. I do feel sorry for the teens today and some of their trashy, no where music. it has lots of good memories.
More than that it's so lit
NakeyJakey b jzvxh
Lmao !! Right !
Since my wife's name is Sherry, this was one of our favorite songs to play during our courtship and even now that we have been married for awhile! These guys do a great job of performing this song.
aw :)
My name is Sheridan... which was shortened to Sherry. Whereever I went my friends would play it on the jukebox... good times :)
Aww 🥰

Cleaning my house brought me here and I hit them high notes like a boss
The emotion in their voices is brilliant.
I was 16 When Sherry Came Out, and I kinda Went out with a Girl Named Sherry !!! Because of the song she became so popular, im going to see her for first time in 55 years tomorrow !!!! hope it will be fun !!!
@@rogerhegemier8491 ooh that's lovely! I wish you the best of luck :)
Thank you Sebastian for this catchy song!!
Danielle K Thats so true😂
omg yas! i want a full cover of sebastin stan's sherry
I was looking for this comment 😂😂
That's how I found this awesome song!!!
YESSS
I tell you my mother use to play this ALL the time and it really takes me back. I've since lost my mother but thank you for the MEMORIES.
My mom did the same. Now when I want to dance, it has to be to songs like this. Nothing today can top these songs
This song always puts a smile on my face.
This is legendary music. Valli was in a league of his own. Talk about having an ethereal voice.
My grandmother passed away from Covid a month ago. My mom and brother were there with her playing her favorite songs and holding her hand. She took her final breath at the end of this song. Her sister passed away 18 months prior and her name was Aunt Cheri. We like to think it was her welcoming her home. Idk if I can ever fully listen to this song again.
I'm so sorry for your loss.😭
Every car ride I went on as a kid my dad would always yell sheeerrryy baaaaby Sherry baby in his high pitch. I would always laugh and copy him. Would kill to hear him do that again. It became my thing to do now. Even though I was born in the 80s I grew up knowing and loving 4 seasons and all the greats from that time.
My dad was almost 40 when they had me in 94, I grew up listening to them too and the temptations, Marvin Gaye, all the great oldies. My dad is luckily still alive but he moved away unfortunately so I don't see him much and when I do, it isn't for long.. I miss him a lot and tell him I wish we'd spend more time together every time I do talk to him but I feel like I was too bad in high school that he kind of washed his hands of me, even tho I've been good for the past 7 years or so, he just doesn't care anymore and it sucks.. I miss growing up and being his little girl and doing things with him. Frankie Valli is on tour and coming to our state in April, I'm going to ask him if he'll go with me but the tickets are $100 each so it's gonna be a hard ask cuz I can't afford both
A classic. My favorite song by The Four Seasons.
My mother's name is Sherry. Whenever she annoys me, I start singing this. Then she screams at me.
Carly 1
Mom 0
ha ha ha that's funny
Nice, lmfao XD
Carly Kemper haha
Carly Kemper good idea
Hahaha too funny
There have been many valiant efforts to cover this material, but there is just NO-ONE who can even get close to Frankie Valli. I mean, that voice...unreal. I've been in lots of bands, on a lot of stages, in many studios & heard a ton of great singers...Frankie Valli just owns, period.
*low voice*WHY DONT YOU COME OUT
me:*thinks of patrick from spongebob*
kimberlyy garciaa he really do sound like Patrick 💀
@@yaboijuan4052 You mean Patrick sounds like him.
This needs more likes. That made me laugh very high after i sing it 😆
WHEEZE!!!!
@@TheFlash-rn2dd when I saw this I blew in laughterr😂😂😂💔
Love Frankie Valli & Lou Christie with their fabulous falsetto voices!!
This was one of my mums favourites rip, had it on cassette and played it over and over what a harmony don't get this now a days, dedication and compassion
My mom's too it was her name an she's been gone 6 Mo. Now an its never going to be alright ever again how do you ever live with out mama. I can't cope with it people tell me I'm stupid an that it over get over it an all. But they don't understand this year I've lost 2 uncles a week apart in January of this year an in March my step dad Mar.5 an my mom Mar. 5. So YeA it is a big deal if you have any advice I'd appreciate all I can get to help me
That's very nice
Is it weird im 16 years old and i love the 50s to the 90s those are the years of the best music
ahaha
You are not the only one, I am 11 and I love old things and still use olden things!
Same here
You guys are something special
dude im 15 and im listening
I love this song 😍😌 it is so relaxing
Born in 1960.,but used to hear these songs through the 60's.Awesome.
I Love this old stuff it's original with every word straight from the heart it doesn't get any better than that!!!
The oldies will always be the goodies. The Best of the Best.
Valli had a completely unique voice, one you couldn't put in any category. You usually think of "falsetto" as pretty and feminine, yet even in this incredibly high range he's kick-ass and don't-mess-with-me. He has hardly any break in his voice and is able to drop into his mid-range very smoothly. He also has a dreamy tenor voice, as in "You're just too good to be true". I think this guy's vocal apparatus is more complex than that of the average opera singer.
This is a song from my dad's youth, he used to play it in the car when I was little and try and sing along. Great memories and started my love of 60s music when I was older. So many classics from that time that remind me of my amazing dad.
This song reminds me of my old best friend back in high school. I haven’t seen him in 26 years. He actually dedicated this song to me. Where ever your at I hope your doing good & life is treating you kind. 💕
Me and my use to dance to this 💃🕺🙏🏼💯🙏🏼those were the good old days. No worries. I'm. 67 years young. But. That brought a smile to my face 😂❣️🕺❣️
My boyfriend sang this to me on his guitar I couldn't stop smiling 😊❤️
oh. that is so so so cute
west A I know right 😊❤️
Is your name Sherry?
François van der Westhuizen Nope, he changes it to Zoe 😂❤️
Zoe ZR Nice. That's nice.
The Perfect Song for Valentine's Day.
This music is much better than today's music, in my opinion.
Anne C. I very much agree
I so totally agree with you.
Agreed
Same with the 80s
And yet today's artists say they have changed the world for the better
Boy, this brings me back. Loved that era in music.
I'm only 14 and still have so much respect for classics like this
Keep passing it around!!!! It’s gonna kids like YOU to keep this type of music around for the next generation !!!!!
This was one of my late father's favourite songs, and it played as the curtain drew on his coffin at his funeral. Rest in peace dad
My gosh isn't this lovely, more than the songs of today.
yes it is, I love it very much
I loved this song when I younger and I'm 14 now and I still love this song to this day.
Anyone else 2015 still listen to this song
Literally spit my water out laughing at this. xD
I'll never forget after we finished the school play my senior year (I was Nicely-Nicely Johnson ^_^), for an after-party we all went to this pizza/karaoke place. This skinny, kinda pale, scraggly dude gets up and he seems to know the guy running things.
I see this song come and brace for for the worst and he just NAILED it. Craziest thing I'd ever seen.
My mother used to bowl a lot, and she would take me to the bowling alley with her sometimes. I was 8 years old in 1962. This song played frequently on the audio system. It was such a wonderful time spent with my mom...she'd buy me a hot dog and some pop corn at the snack bar, and I'd sit with her while she bowled....she also bowled in a league and she was great....she bowled around 210 to 230 regularly....thanks for the memories.
This brings back good memories
Thanks to my older folks who put us on to the groove!!
I love listening to this song wishing I was alive back then.
me too
but remember ipads
So true 60's music is legit not like today's crap about drugs and sex but it's the society that makes people that suck like Lil Wayne and all them popular ...it's our generation's fault but I would so loved to live the sixties
Jose Villalobos but sex and drugs are d best
This is raw natural no sound machine harmony. I am a 63 year old Black Female Gospel Piano/Keyboard Player saying this.
me encanta, lastima que ya no sacan canciones asi
Okay, this is hella good and catchy. A good gold song I’d recommend listening to.
I get chills all over I just love it
For some reason this song just makes me think of my now-deceased grandmother. She and my Grandpa would've loved Jersey Boys. She was the cool "hip" mom back in the day when my own mom was little. Even though these songs weren't really my grandparents' generation, they still loved Frankie Valli. I can just picture Grandma singing this in the car.
Brings it all back to me,60,s fabulous.
Great!
But who was the greatest?
I wish we can bring this music back.
2019 STILL loving this song!!
2021 STILL loving this song!!
nobody knows the real oldies like this one
Wish i lived in the 1960s imagine how cool it was
There is a place for everyone in this world
Kay Brasco i think the style was cool but man come on living in the 60's? fuck that.
being ANYONE kinda sucked, in contrast to the tech today. believe me everyone had a good time because it was THEIR time. this is OUR time lets make the best of it as they did. take the 60's as an example of how to live it up now
hard to believe coming from a guy on youtube via internet. racism, sexism, pedophilia, and overall harassment was big in the 60's. not saying isnt is today but people have brought theses issues to light.
***** same
The 50's was the age to be in High School. I was sure lucky to be one of those kids. Loved the music and that was before sex was ok, so it was a LOT more mysterious and fun since it was forbidden. You'd a loved it!
2019 loving this so much better than today's music
Totally agree and I've just left a comment and a link to a song we recorded in 1965 and and was lost - check out my comment and there's the link.
Just got my 1968 mustang fastback running late at night and turned on the radio and this was the first song to play! I feel like it’s asking me to go out on a drive. It’s been parked since 1979!
When I hear this, I think of spongebob singing "GARYYYYYYYYYYY"
The "why don't you come out" sadly sounds like Patrick to me forever and ever now.
I think of Sheri how can you not he's saying her name over and over again
Lol
Slightly Baked GARY COME HOME
Nope 👎 your wrong
1:02 what he does with his voice is still awesome to hear over and over again
That was my mom's favorite song. Her name was or is Sherry she's been gone 6 mo now an its really hard. I listen to. The song
may her soul rest in peace
Donna Sullivan and like blue purple blue blackberry
Donna Sullivan you from buttery xxx my Alison Aaron Pink you in dad is you from buttery xxx you in
I hope you find her
Donna Sullivan sorry for your loss
This song way ahead of it's time, still sounds modern.
The section/ verse/ bridge whatever you call it at 1:40 always gives me this intense dejavu past life crazy feeling!!
I absolutely LOVE the sensation but I have no idea what it is.
Amazing!
I love this song!!
Hi Sherri💐💐
In 1962 "Sherry" revolutionized the vocal group sound on the East Coast. The Beach Boys did the same thing on the West Coast. Wish they'd recorded an album together. Would've been a killer!
My dog named Cherry died a couple days ago. We used to sing this except using her name. She used to get so happy when she heard it. What a good dog :)
Frankie Vallis voice is like a cross between Jesus and a Baby
Its like morgan freeman's voice if it was high.
Baby Jesus
Jeeesus, Jesus baby. Jeeeeeeeeesuus baaayaayby
Lmao! It’s so true!
this song is now my favorite. thnx to my bestie for singing this to me to cheer me up ^.^ this is better than all of the songs from today
Agreed. : )
So true
I play this during Resident Evil 2, as I can't help but get reminded of it
My first daughter was named Sherry. This song is why I named her. He walked me through some dark times. She passed away in 02. Long live Frankie.
Even though I'm still a sperm finding the egg...I really like this song!
+Joseph Hovey i hope you make it to the egg. best of luck!

The 4 seasons are timeless! Still listening in 2019.
Still listening to 2019
I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway last week, and all of these songs are stuck in my head. Such great music.
It's such great show, btw, highly recommend you see it.

Classic songs :)
music like this, will never be back to sing ... you can only hear it here, on UA-cam as it was before ... music that transports you ... I love it.
This song makes me miss NYC lol
His pipes are ridiculous. Need more music like this.
Gotta love the 50s music
60's
+Kit Johnson Well, although The Four Seasons were 60s band, the style is more like 50s and it also uses the 50s chord progression.
+Olda Florian what chord progression did they use in the 50's?
