You might be able to set up a zap in Zapier to connect Manychat with LinkedIn but I'm not 100% sure. For the mailing list, you'll need to create one on another platform first (my favourite is Flodesk - here's a link for 50% off your first year flodesk.com/c/STEPHANIELONG) and then use Manychat automations to grow your email list through an opt-in page!

On the pro plan you can set up an automation to fire on all posts and reels. Otherwise you'll have to duplicate the automation for each post on the free plan!
Thanks for the video. The pricing model seems very confusing to me. If you have a large following and get hundreds of comments would you have to pay hundreds of dollars each month for the PRO plan?
@@mitrashm You’re right! The pricing chart is a little bit confusing. I think if you get hundreds of comments you should expect to pay about $15-$30 a month but I think when you get into thousands of comments is where it will end up costing you a lot more.
If they make a separate comment with the word, I believe the automation should still work! You can always add multiple trigger words to the automation too
I realize this was older but I cannot setup just for instagram. Apparently its integrated now and wont let you set up without setting up FB and Whats app. I dont like using either of those. Thanks for the tutorial. I wish had not changed that

Looks like you need a step 2 in the automation for it to work, so you'll have to set up the comment autoresponder first and then there are 6 steps to choose from for step 2
so when I click "Public auto-response" it says "no" is it because I am using a template? I am looking for "start from scratch" and cant find it; any really struggling how to set up that auto reply. All of the automized robots make it really hard to talk to a human to walk me through what button I need to click and feel so lost that i cant figure it out. I need to give it "permission" but have no idea where i do this. Can you help? thank you so much in advance
Manychat must have changed something on the free side because when I try to set up an automation I get this error message with the trigger. "You can not activate the widget on the Free plan. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited access." I don't have any Pro features selected in my trigger. Any thoughts?
You might have luck with posting on IG first and then going back into Manychat and choosing the specific post - I know there are limitations on the free plan, but this might work!
This is happening to me too. My older / existing automations work fine but I can't turn on new triggers. Is this is bug or did Manychat take the feature away from the free plan?
I'd try deleting the automation and trying it again! I noticed an issue with one of my automation this past week, so perhaps it's an issue with Manychat. Also make sure your automation is set to publish too!
I'm not 100% that this would work, but you could try to set up the first part of the automation by selecting the post, the keywords you'd like to use in the post, and the replies you'd like to use in the comments and then the second step would be action > live chat > mark conversation as closed.

Did you need to connect via a facebook business page before you set up the automation or did you just have to connect to your instagram account?

It sounds like your Instagram might not be hooked up correctly, so I'd try to disconnect your IG and reconnect it!
