Why would vader turn up and take the frozen han solo? Didn't he literally just give him to boba? And why would Keira want to auction han off in the first place thought she cared for him at least? Am I the only one this story line makes no sense too? 😂🤷🏻♂️
For the Qi’ra part at her core she really isn’t a good person at heart. Becoming the leader of Crimson Dawn and under the direct teachings of Maul made her corrupt. She knows this and fully intended for Solo to return with his “friends” in the Rebels.
The reason qira auctions han solo, is to spread the word to the underworld that crimson dawn is back and is willing to provide its services. As for vader, he takes solo in an attempt to lure luke to kill him. All of this is explained in the comics. Theory video skips a lot of parts to focus more on the Hutt pov.
I was thinking waht if Grievous surivived on Utupau and then realizing that Siduous has betrayed him he would of went rogue and joined the rebellion. How strong and powerful the rebellion could have been?
@@NovaWolfe Not really, the rebellion didn't necessarily have better morals than the Empire. Darth Maul could have joined the Rebellion because organized crime was tolerated more under the Republic and the New Republic certainly didn't do any better in that regard or did any favors in policing the Outer Rim worlds.
@@davetheimpaler204 I agree with you in the case of Maul but not on the moral part. Thanks to the Clone Wars we've seen that if Maul has the right support, he can be a half decent person. We have no such evidence in the case for Grievous who doesn't even treat his own soldiers decently. Nobody in their right mind in the republic would want to take on a guy who might as well be Vader himself. The republic doesn't allow for callous mistreatment of anyone be they soldier or civilian or more especially an enemy soldier. The amount of defected Imperials in their army supports that point that they will take on those who can change.
@@NovaWolfe I misread the original post as Darth Maul. Grievous was a Separatist even before his "accident" that made him more machine than biological and I recall reading somewhere that much or most of the Rebellion forces were made up of former Separatists, as they just saw the Empire as an even more authoritarian version of the Republic by a different name, (which it was) so who knows. I had also read the New Republic mistreated/discriminated against former Imperial-loyal worlds out of retribution and also former Imperial soldiers, sentencing them to labor camps, etc. as shown to an extent in The Mandalorian.
@@davetheimpaler204 Ah yes, the hard to distinguish difference between the New Republic and the Rebellion. The New Republic was not the same in alot of their terms of tolerance of intergalactic peoples in comparison to the Rebellion hence the imprisoments. They kicked Leia Organa Skywalker out (originally, pre canon/legends changes) all due to her family relationship with Vader and I believe it was there without her guidance that they tightened up their own grip on the galaxy. But now we are off topic, lol.

I’d like to see the Rancors native planet, how they captured the one at jabbas palace. The trainer seemed pretty upset when Luke killed him.I wonder if he raised him from a cute little Rancor? Did he go to their native planet and get him? Did he get to choose from a litter of baby Rancors? Are they common beasts that other Gangsters use for executions? Maybe there’s Rancors mills that sell rancors all over the place? Do they have Rancor rescue groups? 🤔.. Sorry went on a tangent.. as ya can tell.. I really like the Rancor😉 I remember battling them in the “force unleashed” game. Star killer when you upgrade him to max, made killing one pretty easy. It’s been awhile, but believe there were rancor on a few planets. My theory on Rancor mills could be a thing!!!😜
Fun fact: in the last season of clone wars, Ashoka saves a baby rancor, that baby rancor ends up being the same rancor that Luke killed in return of the Jedi
Jabba The Hut was always a cold calculating criminal syndicate boss and he knew that it was best for him not to antagonize either Darth Vader and/or Emperor Palpatine.
Ya know, when I first saw Maul in Ep 1, I thought he was pretty cool, but started to dislike him because so many people were like oh Mauls the greatest Sith blah blah, he's so bad ass, etc, and then he also died so I was like whatever. But over the years after so much more has been written and shown with his character, and Sam Whitwers performance of him, he's become one of my favorite SW characters. Much more depth to him now
I don't know why but I cam imagine Vader slicing the council apart. Then with their last breath he would whisper into their minds. "To think grand Hutts, you were killed by a mere slave....enjoy the shame." Then just walk away.
Excellent. Unrelated but I am working through the 4000+ pages of the Dune books. Book 1 heavily influenced Lucas. At book 4 Leto Atriedes' grandson is described exactly a highly mutated slug like Jabba. God Emperor of Dune came out a few years before RTJ. It can't be a coincidence.

Wait so why would a Hutt work for a different syndicate? The only times we’ve ever seen a Hutt betray another Hutt was to gain their power like Zero tried to do with Jabba. In order to coerce someone into your side, you need to bribe them with power, wealth, or position. So what did the Crimson Dawn have that enticed one of the highest ranking Hutts in the galaxy? Hutts are also extremely prideful, why was Bokku completely ok with sacrificing his life for a syndicate that isn’t even his? And why were the other Hutts fine with it? Even if they didn’t know, after he launched a full scale attack which they didn’t agree to, they would have stopped it themselves or used their own power to just kill Bokku right there. Honestly the council dying to Maul makes more sense since we’ve actually seen him kill a few of them.

Some of his favorites include books like the Darth Plageius and Darth Bane novels. Those are just a couple I can think of off the top of my head. Hope it helps!
I think that Star Wars Theory might have a video like that, but in recent memory this comes to mind: ua-cam.com/video/2goIbLG6Ups/v-deo.html I think that's a pretty good list, but I do warn you that the community is split on The High Republic, some see it as absolute trash, others see it as a very solid series, so it might be best to steer clear of that for now. As someone who got to watching UA-cam videos before reading any material, I can't really recommend any starter books. the more and more i see and hear about the comics and what both vader and crime lords like the hutts done aswell is q'iara the more and more im on board with the whole crimson dawn and seeing how the empire and vader go about dealing with them during this period aswell as after ROTJ during book of boba etc
Great vid tbh also it's interesting to watch these SW Legend's stories. Happy New Year!!!!
@@Blazecap hmm
Finally some old school theory feeling in this video! Love these kinds of videos, please do more.
How do Hutts procreate? Asking for a fiend.
By slugging it
I was thinking waht if Grievous surivived on Utupau and then realizing that Siduous has betrayed him he would of went rogue and joined the rebellion. How strong and powerful the rebellion could have been?
While this is a very interesting idea, I think it would take more than that to push Grievous to the rebellion, only due to greatly different morals.
The original Han Solo trilogy of books was better than the movie. It also addressed the Hutt’s. I prefer that to anything new. Thank you for keeping me up on all the new cannon and Happy New Year!
I really like the Rancor😉
I remember battling them in the “force unleashed” game. Star killer when you upgrade him to max, made killing one pretty easy. It’s been awhile, but believe there were rancor on a few planets.
My theory on Rancor mills could be a thing!!!😜
The rancor home planet is dathomir
Fun fact: in the last season of clone wars, Ashoka saves a baby rancor, that baby rancor ends up being the same rancor that Luke killed in return of the Jedi
Rancor iirc , unless I'm getting them mixed up with another creature, were creations of the Sith, & were bred on multiple planets
Just watched #3 and who woulda thought he now as a rancor as a pet!!
👍👍👍😜
I love these videos. Thanks for putting these out.
Hutts did inherit their power from other hutts
Jabba The Hut was always a cold calculating criminal syndicate boss and he knew that it was best for him not to antagonize either Darth Vader and/or Emperor Palpatine.
who else wants to see cad bane in book of boba?
Yes.
Huh,I had no idea The Grand Hutt Council was wiped out after The Empire Strikes Back....
Guess I've got some catching up to do!
Totally amazing video of Jabba the Hutt how he rose to power of the outer rim. Fantastic job
So happy for 3 mil subs for our boy ❤️
I like how you said "people" like how Queen Amidala said it...haha
I just got my Green “Order 66” hat. Looks good and Happy New Year!
Always wondered bout this but never actually did the research on it myself, thanks again for all you do Theory.!💯🌟
Much more depth to him now
Jabber the hut is iconic 100%
My crush
thanks for all the videos
Happy New Year Theory thank you Congratulations to Josh
I just read this comic and it has me so much more excited about book of boba.
Boba Fett takes over Jabbas crime syndicate
Other Hutts related to Jabba: It's treason then
I’ve never been this early to a video
I recall most of the hutts were murdered by Maul
I don't know why but I cam imagine Vader slicing the council apart. Then with their last breath he would whisper into their minds. "To think grand Hutts, you were killed by a mere slave....enjoy the shame." Then just walk away.
Great video theory!!!
Off subject but Cobra Kai season 4 was amazing and can’t wait till your breakdowns and theories!!!!
Comics always seems like sweet fancies ,HappyNewYear Theory~
Dear Gowd Yes I wish we could get a Vader vs Maul someday ⚔️🎇 Happy New year Genaral Theory Thanks for the video 🔥👊
Awww Vader is so nice reclaiming Solo for Boba Fett so he could claim his bounty. Vader must really like him.
Hey theory, just want to let you know that in a recent Book of Boba Fett commercial, there is a clip of Fennec Shand fighting the gamoreans
where is the last music (after 7:40) from?
Dude you do an amazing job 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Oh hey, I got this comic. It’s War of the Bounty Hunters. Came out this year.
Who is the first Hutt
I would love Solo 2 just because i love the story of Maul and i could never get enough of his story.
Starwars really loves Tattooween ..I understand the connections with the Skywalkers .
But some of the ways Tattooween is used kinda under minds it's supposed to an invisible planet yet top Crime lord in galaxy. Lives their
War of the Bounty Hunters was so good
I love that "hoh hoh hoh", 2:19
I grew up watching Starwars, but I never realized there was this much lore and side stories to the saga. I have become very interested in learning more. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months, and I haven’t come across a video with recommended books or your favorite books to read. Am I missing it or is there any good starting points for when I start reading the books?
Some of his favorites include books like the Darth Plageius and Darth Bane novels. Those are just a couple I can think of off the top of my head. Hope it helps!
@@jj_grabes Thank you! I’ll looks at those! I have become very, very interested in learning more
I think that Star Wars Theory might have a video like that, but in recent memory this comes to mind: ua-cam.com/video/2goIbLG6Ups/v-deo.html
I think that's a pretty good list, but I do warn you that the community is split on The High Republic, some see it as absolute trash, others see it as a very solid series, so it might be best to steer clear of that for now. As someone who got to watching UA-cam videos before reading any material, I can't really recommend any starter books. Though I really liked Timothy Zahn's new Thrawn book (the first part of the trilogy), and I think it's a must read once you get to know Thrawn from either Legends or canon.
@@ronramen5827 The job I work allows me to listen to audiobooks all through the day, and in spare time I am able to read. Thank you for the video recommendation! I’ll steer clear of the high republic first!
@@ronramen5827 Video is exactly what I was looking for
Jabba's underworld credentials got wrecked. Almost chocked to death by Darth Vader. To getting it done by a princess...
My poor Jabba I'd protect him
Jabba’s like the Star Wars equivalent of the Baron from Dune.
Jabba has always been one of my favourite characters.
that’s cold man solo’s old flame fucking sold his ass in a second
Outstanding video ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’d LOVE a Solo pt2!
How I wanted to be treated like in Star Wars hotel.
I like finally being able to see a kind of hutt army
great bideo, loved solo. all this would be cool
Was Gardulla on the council still?
Such an interesting story, hope you all have a Happy New Years
Edit: (Also the fact anyone of the Hutt's would have thought that a battle against Vader, let alone with a fleet and the EXECUTOR is just crazy to me lol)
Enlightening I wondered how and why Bobba Fett took over after Jabba died this opened my eyes 👀
how did frozen han get from being taken onboard by vader back to boba's possession? was vader being super cool in the end by only wanting han so that he could return it to boba? i wonder what the original bounty was for han, because the auction people might have all his money depending on how fast the funds were transferred...and did boba get the original bounty? ouch..expensive
i'm surprised jabba was so high ranking (even to be on a council), i thought the primary feature of tatooine was that it was some nowhere speck, so i figured any local crime guy would just be a big fish in a tiny puddle. but then over time it seems like it's seen a lot of history! :-)
[oh! and is the boba's throne something new? i can't imagine jabba being able to sit on it]
I’m just going to throw this out there....
What if Jabba performed some raunchy stand up?! Can someone make this happen?! 😂😂😂
Just want to say how good season 4 of cobra Kai was unbelievable with so many twists can’t wait for season 5
Nothing better than cobra Kai and Star Wars
Fuck yeah jabba time
If they ever did another solo, there’s no chance it would have any epic scenes with maul or Vader, or if there was anything it would likely be brief. It’s just the way they do their series they don’t like to deviate from the main focus too much unless it’s a cameo and it makes a lot of sense for the story, like Ashoka and Luke in the Mandalorian. Would be super cool to see, but I just don’t think that’s likely with how Disney writes their stories
Boba” I’m done. When do I get paid.”
How was Han rescued from Jabba?
It is crazy to think that it is Vader who even saved Jabbas Son
Which comic/graphic novel is being shown in this video?? Looks real good!
Wait... Kira was going to auction off her ex? Brutal!
