- We drink an original Bellini cocktail at the Harry's bar in Venice.
Bellini was invented in 1948 by Giuseppe Cipriani, head barman of Harry's Bar in Venice. The drink became a seasonal specialty at Harry's Bar in Venice, one of the favorite places for Ernest Hemingway, Gianni Agnelli, Sinclair Lewis and Orson Welles.
The Bellini is an official IBA cocktail belonging to the sparkling category, based on sparkling white wine, usually prosecco or brut, and fresh crushed white peach pulp. It is internationally one of the most famous Italian cocktails.

TOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
20 euro un Bitter Campari? AHAHHAAHHAHAHAHA Ridicoli
22 Euros for a Bellini at Harry's? That translates to $26.63 U.S. dollars as I type this! What a rip off! No cocktail should ever cost that much money. We have even better sparkling wines and peaches here in the U.S.. I think I will make them in my country instead. Talk about theft! OMG!
Yes, but the difference is that you are having that drink in a historical (and legendary) bar in Venice and not in some random US bar. You pay mainly for that.
What a typical Yank response.
