Kel lost his brother abit due to his depression and guilt from being unable to prevent her supposed suicide. And Aubrey has a lot of reasons to be mad, she was left behind with her abusive mother. Even if it wasn't their fault, she had every right to be mad about that. And she lost a big sister figure, heck maybe she even considered mari a mother figure to her. Everyone will need time to forgive them.
