Me too 😂.... a big chunk of my hair broke! I mean the whole lenght! It went back in the box 😢 I was hoping to see great results with this video. Maybe with a different technique . better results 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏾♀️ I just wait for someone else to try before I dump that brush 😅
I can across your video yesterday and have to say you must give the brush another try. The brush you used in the video is not the real Bounce curl brush. You will know you got the real one because on the back of the brush it will say “Bounce Curl Define Edgelift” with the trademark symbol. Also highly recommend that if you have Type 4 hair that your hair be soaking wet, detangled (the brush does not detangle your hair and could potentially pull your hair out), and that you use a heavy cream or gel like Ecostyler gel. Last, but not least, use small to medium sized parts and brush the sections multiple times. It also recommends that you twist the brush like a curling iron while brushing. I believe if you make those changes, you will be very pleased with this brush!
Hi, I also have 4b/4c hair - Thank You for this demonstration and review and observation of how it worked on your hair and people with our hair type. Great Job!
It can do it from roots to ends in 1 or 2passes .. you just have to make sure you hair is very wet and you're holding the hair at a smooth flat angle and the brush the same way.. the first few passes she did she had her roots twisted a different direction than the brush.. that's why the ends were getting defined quicker that the root.. also using it with a better defining foam or gel.. like Miche products or the doux
When you have this kind of hair, it's very hard to get soaking wet. My oldest's low porosity hair just has water sit on top of it no matter how much he drenches it in the shower.
I wonder if that brush doesn’t define our type of coils from roots to ends, because we have tighter/smaller coils. It just seems like too large of a surface area for our smaller coils and kinks to clump properly. 🤷🏽♀️idrk just a thought. And your hair came out so beautiful!❤
@@EriIrilli yea I've seen that as well. I did also ask them have they got any more videos with type 4 hair and they said they're working on it. I've seen 1 video on their insta but it was not by them. The woman was trying to make a point that you need more videos with type of hair. Similar results to hers
I agree. A denman brush would be better. I have a curl defining brush that’s not a denman brush that works well on 4C hair. You have to use much smaller sections.
I feel like your hair would like a heavy cream and THEN gel. It probably needs to be soaking wet. These tips help my 3c. Do you remember when you tried the japanese rice hair mask? It gave you definition and smoothness. That's what you need but as a leave-in-conditioner before using defining brushes ❤ Also, the direction of brushing matters. When you brush, you stretch the strand and brush the side. You should brush the flat area between the sides of the strand.

Immediately what came to my mind. I'm like, the brush is quite impressive but you are not using enough product at all. Hence the frizzy or puffy roots.
Can u do a video on chia seed gel and how to get it not to flake? I freaking looooved how easily it Moisturized and defined my 4c curls, and how it held but mine flaked so bad and I didn't use products so ik that's not why. The gel is soooo good tho everything we look for but really need help on it not flaking.
Girl you should have knew this wasn’t going work. Don’t matter what products you use, it’s not meant for your type. It’s means for 3 type hair and looser
I used this brush on my 4c hair once and immediately put it back in the box and requested a return label 😩
Glad I’m not the only one who experienced this

better results 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏾♀️ I just wait for someone else to try before I dump that brush 😅
Thanks for the heads up! Denman brush it is... but gotta be careful with it!
Try the unbrush. It's doesn't define but does an excellent job gently detangling. The denman brush ripped my hair out 😭
Used brushes aren’t returnable though.. did they honor the return?
Have you revisited this with soaking wet hair? I don't think you had enough water in your hair to get the best results?

This is NOT our Define EdgeLift Brush ❤
So this brush is fake? Why don't you simply admit that your product is not for black girls hair? Stop the bullshit, thx!😂😂
@@kertis262 it isn't their brush. The back of their brush is different
@@kertis262the brush in the video is a fake 😭😭 i don’t think it’s fair to judge a product when it’s literally not the real one
@@kertis262 she got this one off of Amazon, not the website 😭
Thanks for the review, maybe try on soaking wet hair. I typically get the best results on soaking wet hair
That’s what I plan on doing next

@@sjackson5980using heat i.e steaming or washing in warm water usually works
@@theebokutosimp8747 Tried it all and they're not invested in spending hours trying to get their hair to absorb water and product unfortunately.

Thought so too
I think they just came out with a brush with smaller sections on the brush. I don’t know if that would work but it might be worth a try!
@@EriIrilli wow! I didn’t expect that. At least they’re trying to help us out🥴😂

Naya you have to give this brush a try again. But on a wet hair with a thick flaxseed gel + the green blue magic grease. It will work better.
Chile if u need all then its a chop
@@tsuyuasui7297not necessarily, type four hair starts to turn into a fro fast so trying it when wet or in the shower it may help.
I been following you for a while but haven’t been on your channel lately and I can see your hair has really grown
Try using the brush with a "curl activator gel" instead of just "gel"...
They are two different types of gels.... numerous brands are available....
Will do

What for leave in conditioners would u recommend that do this
Thanks for sharing. I think you needed the volume list brush. Smaller sections would help it I think.
And your hair needs to be soaking wet, not sprayed but like lots of water and product still. I have faith! You have such beautiful hair too ❤
I’m so glad I saw this!

The brush is a fail for 4C hair texture. It’s best to just get moisturizing products and a regular denim brush
Doesn’t really define 4c hair
Beautiful!
try to use more product on the roots

Please i want ask you to do a video on onion juice please, can i use onion juice everyday
You can if you can handle the smell it’s not advisable to leave it on, it’s best to apply, leave it on for an hour and then wash out
DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR ?
Hello 🤗 Where can I find it ?? What is the name of this brush?
Bounce curl brush on Amazon
hey naya can u do boho/godess braids tutoriol no extensions thx❤
I want to try that one day
Yes I will
The roots will always be puffy with the hair type
I think your hair has to be soaking wet and probably use product that has good slip.
Thank you😊
whyyyy is youtube just now showing me your channel?!?!?!?!
I don’t know 😢
No your hair wasn’t wet enough
It's seem you have not use the right hair products 😊
Don’t think it’s about the right product because I’ve defined my hair using this same products and it came out better than this
@@Nayanzeka ok if you say so
I would love to see you do another video on the correct curl brush. It’s unfortunate you got the fake one. Make sure it saids Bounce Curl!
Just saved me from buying this! I don’t want puffy roots. I might as well rake in with my fingers
I won't invest in this brush thank you for your review
Na a, next time add more products and see. If you are doing a wash and go, you have to be generous with your products
