Praying for Debby to visit the Northern Shenandoah Valley! We NEED ALL the rain we can get!!! It's been a desert for months!! Winter was DRY...Spring was DRYER...Summer was DRYEST and HOT.... I sure do hope the Weatherman isn't lying AGAIN!!!!
you called this before anyone else, even before it became a depression. Kudos, let's hope it doesn't become devastating to so many and that everyone in Debbie's path takes it seriously. And you really made a groundbreaking statement in that storms should be ranked for yes winds... but certainly impacts in general including surge, flash flooding, and tornadoes that affect ways of life for the general public.
This is gonna be bad. It will be a HUGE MONSTER. There is going to be torrential rains, and many homes are not going to withstand the wind, the pressure, and the flooding. I'm scared.
I suspect that this storm will rapidly intensify over the next 12 hours, due in part to the brief Geomagnetic storm impact that occurred over the past 4 hours today.
The town I live in has lots of old cars and one guy and his wife like to drive around in there little red express truck. What really shocked me was that a Volkswagen SUV made that truck look small.🤔
We're in trouble in Connecticut. Rained quite a bit this week & now these heavy rains Wednesday-Saturday, oh boy. The large river behind my house is already very close to flood stage. This is going to be really bad, when it comes to flooding.
I can't believe UA-cam gave me a notification for this video 5 days after it was uploaded like it was new. I was TERRIFIED to see that pop up now that Debby passed. nothing against you, love your videos.
This storm will only be a Category 1 hurricane in Florida and then it will condense into tropical rain storm into the Carolina’s. It’ll be out of Florida by tomorrow or Wednesday. The peak impact already happened.
@@charlesferreira3597 Because the radar does not penetrate to the far side of the storm well enough for you to determine where the center of rotation is. There are no radar stations in the gulf to see the center of the gulf.

Im worried about that area too. Have lots of friends there and I live in Laurinburg. We’re already saturated with flooded pastures from the last 2 weeks,15” of rain total.
@Doktracy we live near the river to I have no idea what look for nobody saying nothing bout in this area if it's 12 16 inches rain with what we already have got it will be bad
@billylindsey9559 Hey Billy... I just went to AccuWeather on my Google browser and typed in Lumberton, nc. When the screen came up, it had a Debby Tracker on it. You can zoom the map to find Lumberton. It gives you the time and projected path of the hurricane. It looks like it's going to pass just to the left of Lumberton. Also, you can look at projected rain amounts. I hope this helps!
It is a hurricane starter kit, Omaha Nebraska had stronger winds last week than this storm will have. The media acts like it's a armageddon and Cat 8 hurricane. Stop with all the sensationalism.
It's because of the flooding, not the wind. However people who have trees around their homes should be concerned. We've had cities flood really bad here in Florida from a tropical depression.
Like the comment above, the real threat is flooding. The storm will stall around Georgia and South Carolina. A stalling storm means that it isn't moving fast across land. If you're having trouble with interpretation, when a major tropical strom just sits above a location, it is going to continue to rain in that location. Hurricanes tend to move across the land around 20 mph. This storm will stall (crawl) above a location and flood that location. A category 6 doesn't even exist because of right-wing Republicans. The only storm to achieve a genuine CAT 6 would be hurricane Patricia. Category 8 would be a storm with 250mph winds. If a category 8 did present itself and if alarmists were telling you to evacuate-do so immediately.
