      Sir good evening,agar kisi Ghar me 3 phase supply ja Raha hai, to waha agar R phase,Y phase & neutral de Diya Jaye to Kya 400 v supply jayega???,aur 3phase induction motor me jab single phasing ho jaati hai,tab to 2 phases availability KE bawjood motor ki stator winding damage ho jaati hai,to aisa kyun,motor ko to 415v chahiye wo 2 phases se hi mil jaegi,to phir bhi motor ki stator winding kyun damage hoti hai???,plz reply sir

      3 phase Motor ko 400 volts 3 phase chahiye. Single phase 400 volts nahi.

    Sir,what is the advantage of three phase over single phase motor? Why many electrician say that three phase is cheaper to generate equal power then single phase?

      Sir,please let me know if I have only single phase connection and my machine operating duration is 4 to 5 hours a day, and I have a 2hp motor required for one of my paste mixture machine,,
      So ,what's your advice to go for single phase motor or avail a 3 phase power supply and get a 3phase motor?
      My other doubt is about armature burning,,,so if I go for a 3 hp single phase motor,,will it consume more power and give a break free service?

      @Tejinderbir Singh जी भाई जी,,एकदम सही कह रहे है आप,,बड़ी मोटर लगाने से ज्यादा बिजली खर्च होगी,पर मोटर नही जलेगी,,जैसे एक बड़ी कार में 4 लोग बहुत लंबी दूरी तय करने पर भी गर्म नही होती,पर पेट्रोल ज्यादा खाती है, पर छोटी कार गर्म हो जाती है और टूट फूट भी शुरू हो जाती है

      Usi tarah jaisey 3000 kilo ka pathar 220 kilo key pathar sey bada hota hai. Jyada capacitor value key liyey jyada area ki jaroorat hoti hai.

      India me Maximum frequency 50 hz hoti hai. 50 hz set krne par jo bhi motor ki maximum RPM hogi is speed pr motor running kregi

      Mujhe pta hai ki india me 50 to 60 frequency milta hai lekin vfd ka use karke use ghataya ya badhaya bhi ja sakta hai. Bus mai ye janna chata tha ki agar kisi motor ki frequency 50 t0 60 hai to uske baad ise kitna bdhaya ja sakta hai. Ye baat vfd ke manual settings me sayad mil jayega. Lekin mai vfd kharidne se pahle janna chahta tha. Waise reply ke liye thank you.

      Basically for three phase system , hum phase volatge ke √3 multiply karte hai.
      Agar aap 230 se √3 multiply karoge to 398 aayega. For ease in remeber and as voltage is bever constant hum ise 400 leke chalte hai.
      Now if u have doubt ki √3 se hi kyu multiple karte. I suggest aap phasor diagram ko refer karo
