They are all very hard workers, they really can sing and they are PERFECTIONISTS. There is also a Performance Video version of this song, the sound is the same audio as this was but the video is completely different. It's just as awesome as this MV imo; you get to see the full choreo in a different setting with different costumes and there are even some very different camera tricks/ editing magic. :)
The story of the video is about the transition from Winter to Spring. A UA-camr named "15kim" has a great video called "How to feel 100% of the Feel My Rhythm MV." She does a great job of breaking down the storyline and pointing out all of the classical art references.
As mentioned by another commenter, the music at the beginning is a sample of Bach's "Air on the G String". The sample (including different sections from the piece), is reused at multiple points in the track.
And the overall look of much of the video is based on a multi-panel painting (“The Garden of Earthly Delights”) by Hieronymus Bosch (circa 1500AD) All the 'painting' looks, are from actual paintings. It was quite an interesting time.
On women dancing in heels ... SNSD (Girls Generation) decided many, many years ago that they would 'always' wear heels (Taeyeon and Sunny, the shortest members have always been 'sensitive' about their height). So Taeyeon said years ago, that they got so used to wearing them, that they could run down stairs wearing heels! But yeah. I don't get how they even walk in those things. (Obviously designed by a guy ... i.e. someone that never has to wear them!)

I saw that no one comment about the story line? Well, I read them once on twitter but I forgot the details (I'm sorry) Yes it's kinda the transition of winter to spring. But some people also notice that probably Seulgi is Hades here, and Irene is Persephone. The strawberry that Irene gave to the god like creature was suppose to be pomegranate which is the one they use in the real story. after she gave it to the creature, we can see that someone poke it with something, with a green background, people assue it's Seulgi's blade. But other than that I dont know (or maybe I forget, not sure), what's the connection with hades x Persephone to the other 3 members. I'm not familiar with the story either. hope that helps
Just a tip, you dont have to change if dont want obv. but it would be a better experience for you to enjoy the music to watch the video first without pausing so much and then watch a second time pausing and analizing it. again, do whats best for you :) keep it up
I actually did think about that way of doing it but I thought the vids might get too long that way and ppl wouldn't watch anymore. I could give it a try. I have seen other channels do it that way but they were bigger than me.
