  • We just bought this truck because we needed a second vehicle and I loved the look of a dually.... But somehow there are absolutely no videos on UA-cam for this particular year model and this body style with this particular engine... So as I am learning things on this truck I'll be making videos on it.... Hope you enjoy..

Those generation Ford F-series pickups are rare these days, especially those crew cabs.

That silver button on the floor is for the high beam and low beam lights and I know this at the age of 14 only because I live around old fords like this and I own a bullnose ford myself

Some of us millennials do have parents that are boomers. My dad had a 1985 Ford F150. I have very fond memories of that truck. The bullnose is still one of my favorite trucks of all time. I’d love to own one some day.

I bought a 3/4 ton in 1985 4 speed manual for $12,000,that was one of the best trucks I had ever owned. Funny nothing on that truck was ford except the body .It had a BorgWarner transmission and a Dayton rear end and IH motor.

@@ryanlevron1972 amazing I never had one problem with that truck I owned ,I know the earlier trucks/82-84 had starter and flywheel issues .My cousin has one and he has over 400,000 miles on it changed glow plugs twice and still on the original automatic trans.

Beautiful rig you got there brother, I have an 86 f250 6.9 idi, they're awesome reliable workhorses, as for owners manuals go you can get yourself a Chilton book for 80s Ford trucks it includes diesels, for the marker lights on the rear dually fenders if I remember correctly on my 86 dually they pop out from the exterior, just take a small flathead screwdriver to one side of the marker light press the little tab in and pry it outwards gently, look forward to seeing more videos on that beast 🍻

It’s all cool. People should be helping each other instead of doing just the opposite. The ‘82 model is actually the same truck as the ‘83 up to ‘86 is. The exception being that ‘83 was the first year of the 6.9 IDI motor in a Ford.
