    Hey guys, welcome to the channel I'm a full time Chartered Accountant as well as a part time Real Estate agent with a background in finance, investing, budgeting and of course, real estate.
    I've been on a personal mission for the last 10 years to build multiple streams of income, including both passive and active income. On this journey, I've gained a ton of domain knowledge about personal finance and investments that I would love to share.
    My goal for this channel is to help you understand basic taxes, personal finance, investing, budgeting and expense management.

    I will forever be indebted to you, Mrs. Vanessa Kyla. You have changed my entire life, I will continue to preach your name for the world to hear. You saved me from huge financial debt with what little I had. Thank you, Mrs. Vanessa Kyla.

      I'm surprised you just mentioned Vanessa Kyla here. I met this woman at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.

      I am very pleased that Mrs. Vanessa Kyla is mentioned here. A friend of my family recommended it to me when I was in Italy during the Corona crisis. She's great.

    GLCC has been paying me about 1% every month after fees much more than everything you mentioned here (I also have vanguard to offset the risk). Not to mention it increased in value by 43% over the past 8 months.

    Love this type of videos (short with great content).
    I would also appreciate if you used your accounting skills to great a "road map" of how to "melt down" investments so that you reduce tax consequences. Should you live off of your investments for the first 10 years and take CPP and OAS at 65, for example?
    Thank you for your time and knowledge!

    *another great video always, i really have to start looking into Canadian monopoly grocery stores for my portfolios,What do you think about holding Manulife & Sunlife financial long term compounding dividend play*

    • @CanadianFinancePro
      @CanadianFinancePro  4 місяці тому +1

      Haha can't go wrong with a monopoly. Maybe I'll add Manulife and Sunlife into a review in June :p Off of the top of my head, I like manulifes dividends, I just don't like the complete lack of capital appreciation, I remember owning that stock for 5 years and didn't make much $$, only dividends.

    I am in the early stages of my investment journey and am particularly interested in investing in dividend stocks and ETFs to generate passive income. My goal is to build a steady and reliable income stream, but I want to ensure that I am making informed decisions rather than blindly buying and selling in the market.Given your expertise, I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you can provide on how to get started, strategies to consider, and any resources or tools that might help me make well-informed investment choices.Thank you in advance for your guidance.

    Great breakdown, man! Right now I'm sitting on some SRU stock. Decent monthly dividend but the capital appreciation hasn't really been going in the right direction.

    • @CanadianFinancePro
      @CanadianFinancePro  4 місяці тому +2

      SRU was the second stock I purchased (back when it was called Calloway!), the higher rates have hurt reits, so the cap appreciation probably wont be there until we get 2-3 rate cuts.

    I just got into watching some of your videos regarding ETF's and dividends and I dont think there are very many people that go into alot of detail like you! Quick question, I am going open my Questrade account soon and was wondering whether to buy ETF's with my RRSP or TFSA. Thanks again!

      Hm, I do have RRSP vs TFSA videos you can watch as well, however, personally I would max the TFSA first, then RRSP.

    Four quality stocks for someone who has years to go before retirement to take advantage of compounding. For those of us in retirement, looking for income, not so much. I like options as well and prefer etf’s to individual stocks, and would be interested in your view of ZWQT for an equity play, and HPYT in fixed income. Cheers
