Hey guys, welcome to the channel I'm a full time Chartered Accountant as well as a part time Real Estate agent with a background in finance, investing, budgeting and of course, real estate.
I've been on a personal mission for the last 10 years to build multiple streams of income, including both passive and active income. On this journey, I've gained a ton of domain knowledge about personal finance and investments that I would love to share.
My goal for this channel is to help you understand basic taxes, personal finance, investing, budgeting and expense management.
I will forever be indebted to you, Mrs. Vanessa Kyla. You have changed my entire life, I will continue to preach your name for the world to hear. You saved me from huge financial debt with what little I had. Thank you, Mrs. Vanessa Kyla.
I'm surprised you just mentioned Vanessa Kyla here. I met this woman at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I am very pleased that Mrs. Vanessa Kyla is mentioned here. A friend of my family recommended it to me when I was in Italy during the Corona crisis. She's great.
How did you do that please? I am a beginner in investing. Can you guide me?
SHE'S ON TELE GRAMM
@Investwithvanessa... That's her name
GLCC has been paying me about 1% every month after fees much more than everything you mentioned here (I also have vanguard to offset the risk). Not to mention it increased in value by 43% over the past 8 months.
Just buy VDY
Love this type of videos (short with great content).
I would also appreciate if you used your accounting skills to great a "road map" of how to "melt down" investments so that you reduce tax consequences. Should you live off of your investments for the first 10 years and take CPP and OAS at 65, for example?
Thank you for your time and knowledge!
Some of your audience loves these vids.
I'm going to come back to these videos.
*another great video always, i really have to start looking into Canadian monopoly grocery stores for my portfolios,What do you think about holding Manulife & Sunlife financial long term compounding dividend play*
Haha can't go wrong with a monopoly. Maybe I'll add Manulife and Sunlife into a review in June :p Off of the top of my head, I like manulifes dividends, I just don't like the complete lack of capital appreciation, I remember owning that stock for 5 years and didn't make much $$, only dividends.
My fav videos! Thanks for the tips.
These videos do tend to be the popular ones :p
Would you recommend buying stocks of Dollarama or Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.?
Yes I've recommended both of those previously
I am in the early stages of my investment journey and am particularly interested in investing in dividend stocks and ETFs to generate passive income. My goal is to build a steady and reliable income stream, but I want to ensure that I am making informed decisions rather than blindly buying and selling in the market.Given your expertise, I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you can provide on how to get started, strategies to consider, and any resources or tools that might help me make well-informed investment choices.Thank you in advance for your guidance.
I've made a lot of videos on this recently, I made a video regarding dividends for beginners & mistakes to avoid.
Great breakdown, man! Right now I'm sitting on some SRU stock. Decent monthly dividend but the capital appreciation hasn't really been going in the right direction.
SRU was the second stock I purchased (back when it was called Calloway!), the higher rates have hurt reits, so the cap appreciation probably wont be there until we get 2-3 rate cuts.
I just got into watching some of your videos regarding ETF's and dividends and I dont think there are very many people that go into alot of detail like you! Quick question, I am going open my Questrade account soon and was wondering whether to buy ETF's with my RRSP or TFSA. Thanks again!
Hm, I do have RRSP vs TFSA videos you can watch as well, however, personally I would max the TFSA first, then RRSP.
amazing video, I own 2 of these stocks
Great 👍
thoughts on enbridge
ENB is great! Its been one of my most recommended stocks, the price has been hovering but the payouts are sweet.
Four quality stocks for someone who has years to go before retirement to take advantage of compounding. For those of us in retirement, looking for income, not so much. I like options as well and prefer etf’s to individual stocks, and would be interested in your view of ZWQT for an equity play, and HPYT in fixed income. Cheers
Ooo I may or may not have a sponsored ZWQT video coming soon!
@@CanadianFinancePro I already own both, but your perspective on both would be interesting, more so than a sponsored ad, but I will watch regardless
Opinion of td direct investing over wealth simple or quest trade ?
I find TD too expensive, I would choose WS or QT.
What platform do you use in Canada to buy these stocks?
I use Wealthsimple and Questrade. They're the best imo, low fees and easy to use.
Drilled for canadian natural resources. They push to be productive all the time. Can't believe they haven't had more accidents
Can l join you on options trading?
Sure can you email your discord name/user to bassem@canadianfinancepro.com
@@CanadianFinancePro unfortunately I don't have a discord name only an email. What do I need to do to get this
Now that bitcoin etf is approved, What is the best strategy to enter crypto trading for someone with more or less than $5,000 to invest?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. I'm guided
by a widely known crypto consultant
She is Mrs Mary Gail Benner
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional
but it's very advisable you make use of a professional
Isn't she the same Mrs Mary Gail Benner that my neighbors are talking about, she has to be a perfect expect for people to talk about her so well.
~Mrs Mary Gail was my hope during the bear summer "' last year. I did so many mistakes but also learnt so much from it , and of course from Mary Gail Benner.
She is my number one when it comes to crypto and TA.
will never buy Roblaw's. BOYCOTT FOREVER!!
I appreciate you going through al the videos, I am boycotting their stores :p
@@CanadianFinancePro i won't watch all the old videos but i'm enjoying the ones i've clicked on. the general advice remains sound even if the video might be a few months or years old.
@@pjm3005 Yeah a lot of the older ones are not even relevant anymore. I try re-hashing & updating every few years.
What are your thoughts on EIT.UN. Safe?
I had that stock for like 10 years at one point. I like the divvies, just annoyed there's no capital appreciation, or very little capital appreciation.
