I'm glad that the small 400cc doesn't have the same Achilles heel of the 900cc triumphs, sometimes when then fall hard on the gear shifter side, the shifter shaft mechanism inside the engine breaks and leaves you stranded or stuck on one gear.
@@SplitLaneMoto to be fair, it mainly happens on the Street/Speed Twin 900, I saw it happened also on the 900 scrambler but not as frequent on the speed or street twin 900, in fact from the Triumph forum it was suggested to put washers as a spacer behind the gear lever to help reduce the impact on the shifter shaft in an even of a fall.
Hi. Excellent. Do you travel on the triumph all the way from copenhagen to south France? And are you from Denmark (is Scandics in Denmark), as I ride solo around Denmark last year and it’s a beautiful country? Brilliant videos, I’ve subscribed.
Welcome to my channel glad to have you here! I did not ride to south France on the Triumph. However, I definitely think its possible. Just depends on what comfort level you want for a long trip. 😁
💯 The bike felt great! :) Back tire was happily drifting along here and there. Yeah always only ride what you feel comfortable with. To everyone their own ride.
Awesome !
Thanks!
