This is hard to believe but fear reality of our Uttarakhand. We face many problems related water during summer😮,crop protection from the animals,burning forest,but nobody taking attention on it,even people also choosing to leave Pahad rather than to solve problems……. don’t know what will happen………😢

Totally agreed. But the main problem currently in our uttarakhand is increasing population of outsiders who are residing here without any identity and doing crimes in pahad.
Gov should implement strict land laws like other hill states.
It is not only the 'outsiders' who are doing crimes in pahad...pahadis are equally responsible. This has nothing to do with identity...humans with good intentions try to do good anywhere

Kuch saal pahle apne dadaji ko khoya ab apni daadi ko, fir ahsaas hua ki ab apne gau ka kya hoga... to mene bhi wapas apne gau shift hone ka plan banaya hai or apni janam dharti pe farming project suru karne ja raha hu,

Laluri village is in Tehri Garhwal..being from Tehri I can relate to each and every word of Dev sir . No one looks at the grass root level problem except those who are suffering .Our village had the same problem of water but 3 years ago things started changing and by the constant efforts things are much better now. Dev sir vision is absolutely amazing. Ashwini sir thankyou fir covering this ....

I have also experienced the suffer of scarcity of water
Although Nepal is second reachest country in term of drinking water
Many of the village are still suffering the scarcity of water supply
There is a mayor named Harka Sampang in dharan Nepal
You can reserch about him he also did like the same to bring water in dharan
He is a mayor of tharan and work as a labour and inspire youth to labour
donate for constructive work in Nepal 🎉❤

Instead of one large harvesting tank we have planted a lot of baanj (oak trees ) on our land in Uttarakhand and made multiple small digs so that water seeps in during rains ..Our soil is changing , water retention is great

for example after a long struggle i cant even count its from my chilhood and now m graduate jst 1 to 2 yr back my parents struggle come fruitfull and road come to my village.
although we jst spend our holidays in childhood but i love my village before my village use to be full but bcz of no job oppurtunity people are migrating so i want to do something that people dont have to leave village. your vedio will be an inspiration for me.

The reservoir is at hilltop. It's boundery seems to be at edge of the cliff, which might give away under pressure if not reinforced. It is dengerous to dig this way, as it might start landslide. The roch and the soil should also be studied regarding porosity etc. Anyway, I wish him goodluck.
