Let it stay. Also I got some Datsun turbo wheels that got a light film of corrosion. I dont wanna take off too much metal but just enough to restore them for the car. What do ya think I should do?
The fact he just towed his trailer probably 30 miles with out ever actually being locked on the ball. Yes. I wonder if he even realizes that trailer was never actually on the hitch 😂
Enjoying this project a lot, nice to see something different. I havent really seen any other big youtubers taking on rehabbing an old 911, and it's such an interesting platform with so much history. Vin is a very solid one man show
I'm confused as how it didn't lock automatically. Maybe it's a Europe thing, but here, the handle locks in place once seated correctly, impossible to miss it really.
I just wonder if he even realizes that trailer was never on his ball hitch. He only sounded mad it came up, not the fact he almost lost the trailer and car on the freeway 😂
every single time you post your story its an inspiration to so many people out here and I can't thank you enough for allowing us to be part of your journey through this life
Vin and everybody at the HOONIGAN garage, y’all are doing what I wanna do with my buddies, work on old cars and make them amazing, I hope me and my buds can be near what y’all are at after highschool
man, im just loving all hoonigan projectS right now. Vin`s porsche is gonna turn out great cause he has a really nice taste for cars. His 240, his m3s all look great because his customization is very sutile and sleek.
Yes more videos on this beauty! I need a old school Porsche in my life lol. I fell in love with this car more when you found out about the story behind the mileage. I got a evo 8 that I love and found out it was in a storage unit for 10 years. Made me love the car even more for some reason.
I find this really helpful and inspirational - with some pretty accessible tools, you can work on your own car, that you (plan to) drive regularly, depending on the complexity of the modifications/service. Thanks for making this look possible (and fun, at the same time)!
Vin needs those old school Carrera shades now. He also needs an 80s era windbreaker to complete the look. And Suppy is a damn automotive genius. They're called riv-nuts vin. Nice job on the custom body parts fitment. Also dig the custom spare parts bracket for the oil cooler. Clean, all things considered.
blake horst that just seems so dumb, a welding mask isn’t that much more inconvenient compared to hurting your eyes. Plus Ik he’s just doing tac welds but wouldn’t you wanna see where you’re welding?
If you look closely you can actually see him shut his eyes, make the tack then open them again. Love it when people who have never welded critique what a skilled welder does.
Harry Base bold of you to assume I’ve never welded, I have roughly a year and a half of welding experience and I literally said that it’s dumb to close your eyes when you can wear a mask and there’s no gain to not wearing one
@@HarryBase63 the uv rays still travel through your eye lids. Why do you think welders also wear long sleeves? Prevent sun burns essentially. Regular safety glasses will block the uv rays, so at least wear some of those.
Maybe I missed it, but did dan ever go 200? I've only ever seen videos of the car driving under its own power and that's it? If I did miss it, could someone put a link to the video??
Vin unloading a trailer is good representation of how 2020 is going lol Thanks for showing us that though, makes me feel better about the dumb shit that happens to me randomly.
Back in the old throw down days at the yard, Hert mentioned a website where you can check out other people's builds, with lists of all the mods. Any ideas?
You may want to change that bracket from aluminum to steel or use different bolts. Aluminum & Steel are dissimilar metals and quite reactive, its why Thermite is so reactive. Just check it out after a few months and if it seems ok don't worry about it.
That magnaflow trailer is parked in geyserville every other weekend. Never seen what cars they are running out of it. It's always okred at the entrance to a popular twisty road to the coast.
I don't think i have ever been jelly of Venny .....until his 911 ....yes i have one ...but not aircooled ....thinking it's more fun and easier to work on lol
As someone with minimal fiberglass work experience, I feel like it would have been a lot easier to remove the misplaced studs and reglass them in to the proper place. Had to do that to remount a mast on a sail boat. Outside of all the glass in the air from grinding out the studs and removing the glass that mounted them, it's a pretty simple operation to be honest.
I think if you kept the deck lid the satin black and ran that same satin black color across the roof and down the hood, it would look hella dope. maybe use the bumpers as transition points to the white, i see some lines there you could use to your advantage on them
Hoonigan: Got a fuel lines by some headers?! Thermotech! Got wires by the engine block?! Thermotech! Got some oil lines by a body panel?! Thermotech! Got a hole in your driver seat?! Thermotech! Lost your car keys?! Thermotech!!

he'll look weirder without the stache

Have you not seen westen champlin's Cummins swapped mustang aka the smokestang aka the cumstain
Nah bruh the blazer
I like the donk project too, it's cool by stupidity 🤣🤡
True, I know is a pipe dream but imagine an rwb collaboration!
Vin has done more work in this episode then Scotto in his entire time at hoonigan
Definitely! 🚗
Don’t send hate to this dude, I just wanted to share his video ua-cam.com/video/oDa86C_KEl0/v-deo.html
Love how he ruined that exhaust before he realized he cant weld
He was very bummed on that decision
😵LULZ
😏🤣
Try buying two sets of headers for your Mustang, hammered the crap out of each one, still wont fit and shopping for a third exhaust option. #carcaine

"Bro, I stuff muffs"

No muff to tough
I'd like to commend Vin for single-handedly promoting Hert and Rob to full professionals because truly Vin outclasses them as unpros
The trailer ramp into wall part slayed me. 🤣🤣
Who didn't lock the trailer to the ball??? Them boys are lucky they made it.
I am seeing more and more sketchy shit on this channel

Super cool trip to Magnaflow!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Great result. Proof, as if we need it, that a few choice mods than wildly transform anything in to something a hundred times more badass.
Finally some content flowing again, loving this build
that magnaflow segment was awesome , i love seeing them do work .
so Vin has all these tools... and Suppy... and Dan to help him "persuade" that rear bumper mount, yet he decides to screw the bumper to the body... :(

"Aluminum" angle "iron" 🤣🤣
I love that central, dual exhaust! Is there any risk of the exhaust tips getting too hot for the surrounding trim?
Love how Scotto's Legendary Porsche is just keeping watch over the new porsche build 👀😂
400k ole blessing of a car how rare is that. And in many ways is it blessing these guys
I love the duck tail look on these porsches. And that exhaust sounds SOOO good.
vin looks like the eggman from sonic the hedgehog
I love that the rear bumper doesnt line up at all and vin still sent it anyway.
check the fender line for those who may be curious
Vin is literally 1 by 1 going through my dream cars
the stock spoiler looks so good I can’t believe he’d wanna change it lmao
I didn’t think Vin could put together a damn good vid. I knew he could do a good vid, but this went the next step up
