Same 😂 ikr I genuinely spend so long moving things around until I like it 🙈 yes he loveesss flax sm the first time I ever put a big bunch in and he hoarded the whole thing in one night 😭

I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I am. This looks like a lot of fun! I bet you watch him for hours. We recently got a hamster from Pets at Home and I’ve been researching non-stop and learning so many things. This has really inspired me! I somehow need to start by getting an aquarium style habitat like yours... I didn’t even realise that the running wheels that come with the hamster cages at Pets at Home are too small for Syrian hamsters so I’ve just purchased a large 32cm one. They deserve the very best and not to be stuck in a small cage. This looks fantastic ❤

And when you get a hamster you quickly learn so much when you start researching and realising pet shops sell a lot of misinformation unfortunately 🥲 but so glad to hear you've been doing so yourself and best of luck with your hamster ❤️ also if you are looking for a good cage rec the pawhut is definitely the best price (£70-90) for the size imo ☺️

it's so hard to find the right spot to put all the things back into the cage and find set ups that work . i personally always keep the house and the wheel in exactly the same spot and only alter the other areas of the cage and if i want to put in a new item i only change one of the usual things as i have robo hamsters and i find they get a bit distressed and run frantically around the enclosure if i change too much .
Yes it's the biggest thing I struggle with when setting up new enclosures 😅 and keeping your robos wheel and house in the same spot is definitely a good idea to limit stress! I usually keep Chais house in the same place but he's started peeing sm more in his burrow I had to do a deep clean / rearrange.
i love this sm i personally think sprinkling herbs and flowers around the cage is great smell,look and foraging for them but its not necessary ❤
Absolutely! I love herbs too but I ran out when I was filming this 😭 I have gotten some since tho :)

Yes it's a diy :) I connected 2 cages together. I have a video "huge cage upgrade" showing the process ☺️
This is just OTT . I’m all for enrichment , but how many people have the room for this.
I can definitely see why you think this but tbh this cage was never meant to be this big 😭 I also get how not everyone has space for a cage this big but at the same time people should have the space and more if needed for an animal before they get one!! it's also worth noting that hamster care is always progressing and these size cages are becoming more of the norm :)
