I also want to tell you. I'm from Iowa and my dad worked and retired from John Deere. Here we just say Deeres. I also work there for a bit. Like they say "nothing runs like a Deere"
Glad you have things prepared for the horses. The tractor really is lovely. Very functional and has some bells and whistles that make it extra. It was good to see the Plum Grove property pond full. I remember the pond before you dug it out and removed many of the shrubs around the pond. Adding the berm definitely gives you peace of mind, should it flood again.
Oh my goodness Corny made me smile all the way deep into my soul and then spilled out onto my face 😁 Felt wonderful to see him. oh how I miss him and his antics!! Love that Corny!!

Lester - Please consider blocking the small openings on either side of the container. Just strips of fabric or visible rope would probably be enough. It doesn't have to be low enough to block the calves from getting in. Remember... horses wake up every day trying to find a way to get hurt or worse. I've experienced exactly that issue and was barely able to save my horse. The barn looks snuggy enough that I'd sleep in there! 😆👍💪
