- Time to open kkakdugi (radish kimchi)! We fermented it at room temp for 4 days and it was ready!. Made dishes that go with kkakdugi the best: miyeokguk (seaweed and beef soup) and gaeranmari (korean rolled eggs).

Ugh I’m so sorry for you! I was on medication for years that made me nauseous so I feel you, friend!! There’s absolutely no better feeling than finding something you can eat without feeling awful! For me it was chicken noodle soup with lots of veggies! I would make a batch and store some in the refrigerator and freeze the rest in little portions so I always had something I could eat when I felt the worst, it helped so much! I hope despite the nausea that the medication is helping and that you feel better soon! Stay healthy ❤

Is kimchi always spicy hot?
No. There are different kinds of kimchi including some that are not spicy at all (mul kimchi - radish kimchi in brine). But the spice is addictive once you try it.
