Hey Shad, I doubt you’ll read this, and I know this song is already months old at this point, but every time I listen to it, I get bombarded with feelings and I just wanted to get this out there.
I used to listen to basically everything you put out back in the day. Giant fan. Way back in 7th and 8th grade, I’d walk home from school blasting Upside Down, Lay the Ink Down, Spider Dance, Dr. Gaster, Never Be Alone, you get the point. I was even there during the creation and destruction of the Shadrow discord.
Unfortunately however, your music just kinda fell out of my rotation. I’d still happily jam out whenever one of your songs would shuffle into the music queue, but you fell out of the central focus of my music listening sessions. (I have no clue how else I’d word it) My music taste just grew, evolved, changed, you know, it happens to everyone.
However, it was a couple months ago when Spotify’s AI powered DJ feature decided to play this song, and I felt frozen in time. I only started using Spotify last year, so all of my Shadrow-based listening habits were on Google Play/UA-cam Music.
I just sat there, listening to this great song that I knew middle school me would have loved. (I love it now too, don’t misunderstand me) And the subject matter of the song felt like it hit so close to home, I don’t know how to describe it, but I was just so deeply invested in what I was listening to.
As I said, I started listening to you when I was in middle school. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I turn 20 tomorrow, and I know that means it hasn’t even been *that* long since I stopped listening, but still, it’s been a minute. So what I’m trying to say within this college essay of a UA-cam comment is Thank you for making these bangers that basically shaped the music I listen to, and in a way shaped who I grew to become.
(Still growing obviously…)
I’ll definitely keep a closer eye on the stuff you put out from now on.

ive been listening to this album a LOT since it came out, its wonderful! i think livestream is my favorite, but this one is definitely in my top 3.
i dont know under what genre of music i would label this... but i love that it exists and that its out there for me to listen to.
