Everything is grate made ..but... if the screen won't power up then you should check the fuse box witch it's situated at passenger side at feet..79 is the number..3rd column..3rd from down to top..its a 15 fuse..I struggle 2 days to figure this..it was burned..and after I replaced..good as new

I bought one of these systems but it will randomly just scan radio stations and start freaking out opening and closing apps. Seems to do it once a day and not sure why. Also i cant save presets. Whent the radio freaks out or it you switch between am and fm it wipes the saved presets. Has anyone found a way to update the software. Over all im very happy with the Radio. But the glitching out is killing it for me.
To make the screen actually sit flush with the dash molding before fastening the screen screws u gotta cut alittle plastic off the vent molding on each side let me know if you figured that out
@@OutOfLineGarage now 3 days later after I installed it and everything worked fine besides the pwer button now today the touch screen is frozen some buttons like the the search button works but all touch screen buttons on top do not work can't even go into the setting nav or any of the top buttons on touch screen I can turn up volume by the stearing wheel but not the touch screen and when I turn up the volume it doesn't change the volume number on screen frozen I would recommend not buying this from VONTER TECHNOLOGY LLC which I guess who is a 3rd party seller through walmart.com

My car doesn't have any parking sensors so I'm. Not certain if that also played a roll there but I doubt it. Install is of course your choice but I went back in and removed it.

TAKYON I don’t think the original product is available anymore. We have a partnership with a well known Tesla style radio company that will be supplying a unit for the F150 in the coming month or so. Stay tuned for a video on it once the new unit is released.

Hi, sorry about the delay, UA-cam has been lacking on notifications. My car doesn't have the parking assist so I'm not able to comment about that aspect, unfortunately. The best thing to do would be contacting the reseller and see what to change.
I bought this for my 2012 ford focus, and I can get the emergency lights and lock/unlock button to work, but it will not power on when I hit the power button. Any idea what could be going on?
What's the status of this system now? Looks like something I would want to do, just need to know how well it works. Also, did you have to hook up a obd2 programmer for anything in the system? Also was trying to view your rear drum to disc conversion but ran into problems with video playback for some reason. I'll try again in a bit.
It's still good, sadly I don't have a way to update it so the system is still the same with the bugs I mention in the second video on this. I highly recommend it, just be sure to grab it from somewhere it can have support behind it.

Radio works fine although I believe mine is a slight update to yours some things were different and they have corrected the spelling of 'Connected ' lol ... I have one question, did you ever figure out what the speaker is used for? Would it have anything to do with the phone audio? Again thank you.

There is a puch pin toward the front. Pull that out then the rest should follow. The rear may either be held in by friction clips or have hooks that you will need to lift vertically.

I've heard that to put sync in thoug have to find a junk yard car and swap out all of the wiring. Other then that over never looked into it. Never liked sync system and it seems Ford doesn't either as I read they ended the support for it.

It's the black box that you install with the radio. It's the can bus converter.

i have a focus mk 3.5, with this installed my steering wheel control does not work (volume buttons).

Installed this years ago now it’s draining my battery, cause I unplugged it now the car doesn’t die any idea why it would be draining my battery

Only thing I can suggest would be to check the can bus adapter. It's that black box. If that doesn't work maybe have them swap out a new one.

It screams at you when you place the car in reverse. You can't turn it off and it's horrible.

yes, that is through the menu in the gauge cluster and isn't swapped out.

The speaker is the back up alarm and it's really annoying.
