    So pretty man! Always nice to watch your videos and also see you enjoying life. As you said, it's a cascade of events (you ending up there) and those events just follow a basic law: cause and consequences... so keep creating the causes and the awesome consequences will keep coming 🤙

    Mate... for me you and your channel simply personify the whole meaning of fly fishing and fly tying.
    For some people it's just a hobby but for myself and many others (yourself included) it's a way of life and a way of looking at the world.
    Your honesty and passion is an inspiration and I love the way you film your videos it's completely different to others!

    Great video, was glad to see you having such a good time in an incredible place. I was beginning to wonder what had happened to you, and if you were alright; I now realize that I should have been wondering how to get myself into your predicament. As for those foam flies, you only allowed a glimpse here and there, but they had the look of a Gartside gurgler, on steroids. Yes, no?

    Im a trout fisherman from Montana but have never been to Greenland(going soon to hunt and fish!).
    Artic Char look like giant Brookies! Big orange bellies, cool stuff. Im in soon.
    Anyone whos fishes and hunts and lives in Greenland that wants to fish /hunt in Montana, I'll show you around in Montana if you will tour me around Greenland.....
    What's the name of that little stream in the video?

    • @Coastfly

      The river is called erfalik. Not sure how touring around greenland works though. It´s massive and we travelled 3 hours via boat to get to this river.

    fishing for Artic Char is very fun, it *was* prevelant here before they introduced Trout here, they ruined all the lakes with Char in them. Arctic Char >>>>> Trout.
    The Arctic Char tase 100x better than a good Trout.

    • @Coastfly
      @Coastfly  3 роки тому +1

      That Depends.. The coloured ones are from mid august but to get one of Those you have to walk further inland/up the stream. Early season you might not have to walk that far but there Wont be as many coloured char but fresh silver ones. It Can be hard work to walk 10-15 km pr day. The reward is with it if you ask me though but the long walks might not be the Best for older People or someone in bad Shape. Its hard work. That’s the truth. 🙋🏼‍♂️😊

      This place is so remote nobody would even find it without the local boat owner. Even from the small airport it took 5 hours with boat. Also the stupid rock stack is on top of a mountain does no harm to anyone. I wish people would stop leaving stupid comments on my videos and just move on without a trace. But you cant have it all can you...
