Things get even more tricky with attackers. They can cover a super wide area near the tank with ordinance. On Enlisted for me aiming for the tank isn't exclusively about how high value a target (don't get me wrong, it very much is), but there is usually a ton of infantry in the area.
Two direct lines and then guys on the sides and top etc spread out cover flanks either side of tank should be good not behind tho lool or u join crew in becoming paste

Anomaly I downloaded it and started as a standard loner Did a normal gameplay till I switched to Mercenaries because I needed that money for Tahiti Anyway because the Monolith always pumped me lead in Dead City and Limansk I gave the Monolith faction a try When I saw that is more badass than I thought I qucikly fell in love fighting for the Monolith Note: During this time I found Pookie on UA-cam, remember this name Tho Monolith doesnt has its own story mode I still enjoyed walking through the Red Forest while wearing winter camo uniforms and shooting rock haters I just loved it, theres nothing more I can really say Anyway this went for several months till UA-cam recommendations got very crazy af UA-cam started to spam me with random DDLC videos, a game I never heard of This was strange because I havent watched anime for 2 years and always hated visual novels (Think you can call them dating sims too) Well I just thought it was the algorhytm and started to watch some of them I didnt even know what it was really about, just writing poems and spending time with virtual girls I thought After watching some videos I wasnt interested in that game One day I found a video on Pookies channel.. It really is just a matter of simply getting better. This usually is the first experience but after like a dozen more games you can usually know when and where to run without being shot instantly
Because milsims like this are just bs like that. No matter how long you play you will get killed by a random you cant see in this type of game. The skill ceiling is at ground level. These games are more for the experience and not to be taken seriouslu from a competitive standpoint.
The worst moment I had was a start of a round on Foy. Team was bunched up and moving into the center point and I watched as a single arty shell blow up nearly 2 whole squads right in front of me. I noped the fuck out as I was suddenly around a pile of body parts. 10/10 best ptsd simulater lol
Did your buddy REACH OUT to you when he was lying on the floor dying???? If so I give major props to the devs for that. Much more realistic and I also LOVE that the tank has exhaust and fumes which is still overlooked in most games even in 2022. I'm assuming the wounded/dying are programmed to reach to the nearest visible player when they are wounded/dying? If this is all in my imagination it should be made real. Might give other players a hint as to where you are when your dying or wounded buddy is reaching out for your help but in a way it's more realistic that way. Forces you tohave to choose between helping your friend if possible or running to a new position to avoid the same fate.
That would be rad as hell. As the game is now though, what you saw in the clip was just ragdoll. Explosions turn player bodies into separate parts that each have their own trajectories and ragdoll physics
The way he looks back and just sees a bloody fucking smear on the snow is just so... like, it feels like the actions of a shocked soldier and the visual is fucking visceral, damn.

It's the same thing, shellshock was name used during ww1 when soldier would act "cowardly" after a traumatizing event, it truly sad to be called a coward because you were suffering from ptsd and the doctors and officers simply did not understand it.

Ah i got one. Enemies called artillery strike? i guess well it was going like line, there were me and my commrade Ivan, i stayed closer to a building while he was closer to a road. Artillery started. He was blown up by the shell, i saw him tearing apart i survived that artillery strike. Poor Ivan, his family will miss him.
Don't get me wrong, Hell let loose is a brilliant game but i'm afraid I will always be a fan of Red Orchestra 2. It will always be my number spot for general brutal realism to the T. The sounds, the crying, the dying, just general war in general... it takes the number 1 spot for me. I'll admit I haven't played the game in years but will always have a spot in my heart. You RO2 veterans out their, you know what i'm talking about, especially with the realism mods.... a next level experience.
Exactly, I played so many "tactical war games" and "ptsd simulators" but not many get even close to how RO2 was, the closest experience I've found to RO2 was insurgency sandstorm, which is an amazing game.
You never stay too close to tanks, it's true for real life as well. You can get blown the fuck up and also the tank needs space for maneuvering, you can get run over as the crew has little visibility.
It was resort. My first game. We were pinned down in the jungle when friendly napalm struck the enemy point. I watched 5 teammates burn infront of me as i watched my own skin melt off. But i survived....i was in great shock and pain. The echos of screaming engraved in my memorys.
Infantry is there to support the Armor, not to hangout within 10 feet of it. Tanks draw fire and attention. Every single one of the enemy will look at it now and then to see if it's a threat and if infantry are huddled around it, well that's free kills.
Lol PTSD from an explosion is SO much worse.....when you realize you are missing clothes and flew 12 feet backwards shit gets real...and the pain is unbearable..absolute worst thing to ever happen to me personal wise

You always want the tank between you and the enemies line of fire but never get too close to the tank itself. This is why.

Same goes for being too close to a wall. A missile hits that wall, if you're still alive, the rubble might burry you alive.

No just his arm moving because of ragdoll physics. The players don't move once they're down but the bodies may shift due to gravity.
