It's a shame how Primal Screen was such a big part of my childhood, and I'm only now learning their name. Their CN bumpers were iconic and they deserve so much more credit than they've gotten. May they rest in peace.
You know Primal Screen only did the graphic designs for their bumpers and indents, they weren't responsible for any of CN's shows, right? And Cartoon Network does have new shows coming down the pike, but animation takes time.

Not to mention, they’re the company that introduced me to one of their former employees and their art and animation wizardry (take a wild guess who it is). It’s a shame that the Primal Screen Dream Team will be leaving the scene.

CN didn't sell their old building, they never owned it. They were leasing that old building, whereas WBD owns the new one lock, stock and barrel, plus the plans to move CN Studios into new headquarters were made in 2020, long before Discovery came into the picture. Also Primal Screen's closing has nothing to do with the merger.
Cartoon Network isn't shutting down Primal Screen. They were an independent company who worked for anyone willing to hire them. Cartoon Network wasn't their only client.

I always really liked seeing those bumps as a kid because they always brought back characters from cartoons that they stopped airing, so it was the only place you'd get to see them.

Gumball is produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, not CN Studios in the US. And none of that has anything to do with Primal Screen shutting down.
