6.48... Quick shout out for Pattaya Optical. I bought new specs earlier this year: Genuine Ray-Ban, vari-focal Transitions lenses, anti-glare and scratch. @@Buzzinpattaya From your experience is it cheaper to get flight tickets from those tour shops that offer trips or direct from the airport? I noticed when you walked by the tour shop it said air ticket in the window.

Spirit of India just off pattaya central road behind the 7-11. Small restaurant but best indian I've ever had. Ever. I've never seen any UA-cam video on it. Very very highly recommended!
Wow! Mae Sri Reueri Pattaya, very cheap dishes, similar prices to the food court near Centara Azure Hotel! I will add this restaurant to my travel list. At the moment, deciding between Japan and Thailand for June holiday. I love both countries. Tough choice.
One of my favorite videos so far from you…,why? Because in the street you wrapped it up is the Airbnb I’ve just rented. I’m coming there in january for my first long stay trip. Can’t wait to get there :)
Really enjoyed today's content, I've been going to pattaya for afew years now, and I've never explored this area, I've always walked through all the soi s that come off second road, but I saw some places I'd like to have a look at when I come over for 6 weeks in February!! Many thanks .
Great walk about love seeing places and parts not many youtubers do regularly SOI 16 looks interesting is there any chance you could do a video on such sois like this and others, they seem to get bypassed be interesting to see what's on such sois
Thanks for taking us around Trevor. I certainly want to know how to get around in Pattaya I've been walking every morning for two months. I've lost almost 10 kilos, mostly off my stomach! I'm itching to try those places to eat that you talk about!
Tarka house 13/4 and Maharani @ cozy beach. But now that you've put that Alibaba on my to-do list , I'll never get rid of that belly . Curry House soi 16 Klang side soi , scores 4,7 on 162 reviews , so that should be a great one also. And Klang 10 alley turn left and at the back there is this very beautiful temple Wat Nong Oo, a must visit with very few or no tourists.
It is easy to navigate, the only problem that I had was that I was a tourist there in the 90's when it was basically beach road second road. When I returned after 20 years in 2023, I found navigating between 2nd road and 3rd road a bit daunting because there was nothing there in the 90's. I'm okay now though. I'll be back in February.
Basaya beach was the hotel i stopped in 35 years ago on my first trip to Pattaya,it was called the Nipa lodge then,i think it was the first hotel in Pattaya,it was over 20 years old when I stopped there in 1990.
Excelsior Restaurant , Hyderabad , India . When in port about 15 of us headed there for a meal , washed down with Kingfisher beer . Had 2 years working out of India .
butter chicken is my favorite. where would be the best place for it? I waS in england and the curries were sweeter than in america. Is it sweet in thailand ?

Might be out of range but... 20 years ish ago I used to have to go to Penang, Malaysia for visa runs and I don't know where it was or what it was called OR whether it is still running, but the best Indian I've ever tasted was in the basement of smallish sky scraper (10 - 20 floors) square building somewhere in the middle of Penang. About as much use as a chocolate fireguard, but it's the taking part that counts, I'm told.
Soi Klang vs Mammals. What ended the greatest show on Earth. Was it Mammals in the office. Or Mammals in the ocean. The badger. He won seven. Sounds like a lot to me. We.(?)
That "not so great show". Guys still worship ye ol' Cafe de Colombia. It's up the top of Soi Klang near 24hr family Mart they now call "Top". 7-Eleven still remains dough.
Roughly 2500 eating establishments including vendors to high class restaurants. Would take you 6 years and 10 months at one a day (not including any new ones that pop up in the 6 yrs and 10 months),
Also you mentioned Wellthyme clinic - yes excellent doctor and reasonable cost. I went to talk about Testosterone treatment but my blood test showed it was good, told Dr Chang I got tired a lot and he suggested vitamin IV drip which I had there and worked a treat. I live in Kanchanaburi so now he mails it to me when I need more ( have found a local nurse to administer it) doctors could have lied to me and said yes to Testosterone treatment which is way more expensive. Respect
@Buzzinpattaya 5 Billion Baht for a 30 year lisence, a decision will be made within 6 months to 1 year, after that things happen very quickly, not sure if its a good or bad thing for Pattaya, what do you think?
I am sorry that happened but let's be totally honest it is almost impossible to control that situation. I could understand your feelings if it was in your food but that would never happen.
Absolutely false! Where in USA are you seeing this cheap food?!? Here in Los Angeles the Thai restaurant near me is charging $18+ for entrees which is 600+ baht. Compare that to the restaurant Trevor highlighted on Pattaya Klang where most of their entrees were < 100 baht. The only expensive restaurants are the Western food ones which ... wait for it ... charge Western prices! Indian can be a bit expensive too since they have to import ingredients and pay Thai VAT which gets passed on to customers. Still though Indian food in LA is double the cost of Thailand.
@@clrodrick I disagree. I compared prices on my last trip in May. Cheaper in the US. You can't compare a high tax fascist state like California with REAL AMERICA.
@@kyoto32001 By all means tell us where in USA you can get freshly cooked meal for < $3 like you can in Thailand. Even the gross McDonalds dollar menu is now the $2-5 menu (and one cannot claim that is a freshly cooked meal hahaha)
