Thank you for so much great information, you are so helpful! But I have a question, like you stated that the max you can sign up for is 7 tournaments right. So what happens if all 7 tournaments say no? Are you able to get another 7 tries later or do you just not get to sign up anymore?
Wanted to take a second to say thank you for all these great videos. I’ll show this to a few D1 friends who have a real chance at pursuing this! You have great energy and I love the dress.. it’s the Sharapova dress right? Haha all the best and thank you! 🙌❤️

What do you think of the new ITF streamlining of 750 pro players. So many players were culled. (Players with ITF rankings of 619, but a WTA ranking of 819 were just wiped off the map). 😞. Now you play - depending on the tournament- 2 pre-qualifying matches to get into the Qualies. So you now play 5 matches before your first round at a $15,000.00 tournament. Not fair.
Thats why i dont wanna play in ITF tournment yet . I wanna get to max level of my tennis then i can go and play in tournment . I mean i dont wanna spend my money then lose . I wanna waste my money when its worth it 😍
@@akilahjames1 my tennis level is almost at ITF players and i started only a year ago . I saw ITF players level on UA-cam and i play just like them . I will complete 1 more year of hard work then im gonna be ready 😍😈

Hello!! Thank you so much for this video! I’ve just entered 3 tournaments in Istanbul and someone just told me that I should be getting a confirmation email from ITF that I’m in the draw. But that email is supposed to come a week earlier than the starting date of the first tournament. Is that true ? Im gonna be travelling to Istanbul and then if I get to know that I haven’t been entered ?
No problem ! Yes! You would have gotten a confirmation email! Look in your junk mail, if not look at the acceptance list and see if you are in the main draw, qualies, or an alternate! Also try not to book a ticket if you don’t know if you’re in the tournament! Sometimes you can go and not be in, you want to be sure especially if you have to fly there! Hope that helps!
Hello I want to register for a tennis tournament, but I have never joined a tennis club (there is no tennis club near me), but I train constantly. Can I register through ITF, and is joining a tennis club mandatory? Thanks for your attention 🙏🙏
I have a question Do I have more possibilities to enter to the tournament if I’m 18 than if I’m 16 Pd: Thanks for this super useful info! I hope to play as many tournaments as I can when I get older with this tip❤️❤️❤️
You have all the possibilities to play professional tennis no matter the age. The only difference is if you want to go to college you have to see how many tournaments you can play with taking cash money, which the rule changed so you’d have to find that out. Also if you are 16 then you would have to see how many tournaments you can play depending on how you do, but you can sign up now if you wanted to! You don’t have to wait !
Hi Do I need a national rank to get into ITF qualification or do I just sign up for tournaments and see whether i get into one of the many qualifications ?
Hi!! If you have a national ranking it can help, but all you need to do is sign up for tournaments and see if you get in, which you will get in one way or another! It might not be close to you, but you will get into at least one!
Quick question: Lets say that I sign up for the ITF Futures event at (example name here) online for the qualifiers, lets say that I'm the first person to sign up for the qualifiers. If other people also sign up for the qualifiers but they have ATP/ITF points and I dont. Would I lose my spot in the qualifiers to them because I have no rank and they do?
There are three sections of players: main draw, qualifying, and alternate. Alternate means you are not in the tournament, but if people drop out before you, there’s a possibility for you. Should you still attend if you’re an alternate ? That depends on what number alternate you are and how far are you from the tournament!
I don’t understand. You can let the COMPUTER pick your first tournament? Things have changed? I thought - if you have never played in an ITF tournament before that you had to SHOW UP IN PERSON before Qualifying and pray that they draw your name from a LOTTERY to even GET INTO A QUALIFYING ROUND. You mean to tell me that they CHANGED the lottery system and you are GUARANTEED ENTRY - if the computer picks for you to get into Qualifying? No more wasting money traveling to a tournament you might not get into by lottery? Wow!!! 🤩

It's possible, but it's at random, however ranking does matter so you would just have to place your name and see.
Is this the same for teenagers and are there any in the states?
There’s a calendar for junior tennis players. Also not sure but it should be similar just on the junior tennis platform.

How does the pre-qualifying work?
Unfortunately, pre- qualifying rounds aren't at every tournament! There are a few days before the qualifying rounds.
@@akilahjames1 thank you for answering, i applied to the tournament where there is pre-qualifying but it's not explained how big the draw is or any other info.. Do you maybe know if that is completely up to the orginizer?
It’s up to the organizer and the amount of people who sign up for the tournament ! That JJ formation is usually onsite.
