Just bought one today with the chrome grills on it. It’s crazy 85k miles on it with no chips on the paint. Power windows. It’s amazing Got it for a steal too 3k
Bought a 94 mark 3 with a v8 magnum today some paint damage but that's it power windows and locks overhead console and power back slider it's amazing and I love it
not too shabby I've got a 94 4x4 slt 5 speed that I swapped a 5.2 into. the v6 was running at 238k when I pulled it. love these trucks. 96 is the desired one for the obd2 compatibility.
I have a '94 V6 5 speed 4X4. I love my truck! I'm currently debating if I should buy my friend's 153k km, 1999 V8 with a blown auto trans. I don't like the 2nd gen as much as the 1st gen that's for sure.
@@fordmustang98guy it's been probably 18yrs. Since I traded it. I have a 95 f150 with 330,900 original miles on it now. Those Dakota's are tough I rolled mine upside down back in the day put a new roof on it and drove another couple years. Your truck is very nice and I love that tonneau cover. Mine 94 was also a extended cab
Maybe it's just me but I have a 95 5speed Dakota and I'll tell you what it's got 300.000 miles in it and am smoking most new sports cars . Lot of poeple laugh at me when I tell them . My brother gave me the truck because he bought it trans was out I popped one in from salvage yard for 150 I swear this thing dam near pops willys
Very nice, also I heard Ram is going to revive the Dakota nameplate after 37 years of its absence, I think it's going to be in 2021 next year, 10 years after the Dakota got discontinued.

My favorite generation is this and the 97 to 04. This is a very rare truck to find where I live.

I got a 87’ I swapped in a 87’ 318 .using the stock 5 speed . Swapped in a 8 1/4 rear with 3.21 gears. Fun truck to drive .
I bought a 92 new with v8 and still have it, its 98000 miles on it still runs like a stripped ass ape
You’ve had your 92 Dakota since brand new?
My dad had a 1992 one of these. Was red with the sport package. Was a nice looking truck that he owned from 1999 to 2005
krzrrazrrokr why did your dad get rid of that truck? In 2005?
Mark from [fordmustang98guy] he traded it in for a 2000 Dakota with more options. The 1992 model had the 4 cylendar engine with no air conditioning.
I had a 94 with the 5.2 318 loved that truck
How long ago did you get your 94 Dakota?

@@danielpadgett2831 your Dakota you bought that truck in 2004 2005?
Now that I thought about it I got it in about 1999 I believe me and my ex were still together when I got it lol
@@danielpadgett2831 So you no longer have your 94 Dakota so you got it in 99 and when did you get rid of it

Emerald green
I'm about too buy a 94 with 160k, reliable?
was there any storage behind the seats? could you drop them down and store small things like the Tacomas of that era?
Not really because the one he is reviewing is a single-cab model, but you could do that with an extended cab model.
Nice Start Up!
Nice example of a 1st-gen Dakota! It only has 38k miles on it! (:
thats km not mi, its abut .6 mi per km.
so the turn signal suppost to blink like that when i first got my dodge dakota i thought that was a wiring problem
its not loud...thats just how they sound. mine was manual transmission so i needed to hear that way i could shift.
Very nice, also I heard Ram is going to revive the Dakota nameplate after 37 years of its absence, I think it's going to be in 2021 next year, 10 years after the Dakota got discontinued.
mine is in crap condition but it runs like a charm
My muffler’s loud dual thrush tubes,
I cracked the music, the tone gets real good.
But I would but this in a heart beat.
38k must be pretty good for a truck like this one.
Yeah mines at 250,000 and still runs like new
Ted Wirt has a White '96 Dakota V6 Similar to this 1 but it's different.
nice truck
Nice video
where did you get that tonnah cover?
My 96 sport has cruise control
Where's the fuse box for the phone charger
Michael Morgan yours went out too huh?
My father having two 1994 Dakota
I want to buy this truck how much
Dan Cutcliffe the guy who owns that truck is not selling it 😐
Plot twist: this was filmed in 1996
The Terrible Bee Sound
No more parking brake for no more safety Tim duncan
Idk why the V6 engine is bad
Annoying buzzer.
Doesn't Annoy me
In-depth not in-deaf
Budlikethebeer depth is pronounced as deaf
Not as cool as my grandfather's 93 Dakota. Plus his has a v8
The V6 is a terrible engine
Are talking about this particular engine or just in general?
@@potato5146 I was wrong. This V6 is a very fuel efficient engine
