- Manta Ray Pose! Save this and try it next time you're on your hammock! Manta Ray is a foundational knowledge pose that needs whole body activation with a particular focus on the handgrip, upper body, and back strength.
Please pay attention to your knee and ankle joints which are holding the hammock tension. If you start to feel any bruising or sharp pains in your joints (at ANY time in ANY pose/movement!), you need to activate your muscles around that joint more by bending the joint that's being put under pressure. You'll hear this commonly be cued as a "microbend", or "soften/unlock" your knees, etc.
