Hello thanks for very informative vedio
My suggestion is that please provide us step files of geometry so that we can also perform same for practice

Quite informative demonstration. I have one query however. For simulating droplet type flow, which model will be most suitable?

Dear Sirs, I am following the procedure described in the video, except that the fact that I am not including the reservoir at the bottom. When I start the simulation, it stops immediately and when I rerun, I am getting a floating-point exception. Do you have any idea of what is happening? Thanks a lot.

As far as i could guess i hope you figured it out by now. But For others finding this. You might want to check your inlet and outlet. If there is no outlet at the bottem the water pressure and air pressure are batteling but they're incompressible in this simulation. So Fluent will struggle to understand what is happening in the dynamics and weird stuff happens till the floating-point exception errors occur. To fix this i'd recommend placing an outlet somewhere for the pressure-buildup to escape to. Hope this helps

Great Tutorial Snigdha. I am wondering if you would make another video to explain bubbly flow (air-water) simulation either in a vertical or horizontal pipe. Thanks.

@@KETIVTechnologies, that would be great. I am writing a master's thesis on a pressurised horizontal tank and dissolved air into water. I'm very much looking forward to seeing that video.

    Very nice video very informative
I would request you I you can do such a video for evaporation and condensation too

if I want to study slurry flow (solid-liquid) and am only interested in the interphase between the phases, can I use the volume of fluid model or it's just to model (fluid-fluid) systems?

    Hello,
I am trying to simulate flashing flow in a 2-D geometry and facing some problems related to the boundary conditions and setting up the simulation. Is there any way you guys can help out?

I am currently conducting Fluent multiphase simulations based on water and abrasive particles. However, the simulation results do not precisely match my requirements. Do you have any videos or suggestions that could assist me?
    Thank you.

Nice tutorial. I am running ansys student 2021 r1. In "create or edit materials" section there is no option for inserting new materials, only air is available,. Do you know if its a limitation due the student version? thanks.

Hello nice explanation ma'am, I have a doubt that in the mixture model, I can not give different phases for each cell zone condition, either i have to fix the phase 1 or phase 2 or mixture phase for the entire cell zones, why does it happen ma'am, I have to fluid domains in which 1 have to be phase 1 alone and another domain have to be a mixture, Pls kindly help me to find the solution, thank you in advance

    Respected madam/sir,
I am writing in reference to the project entitled " Computational Study of Agglomeration Mitigation in Fluidized Bed Combustor/Gasifier"
I have to resolve Agglomeration problem in FBCs and simulate it in ANSYS FLUENT which includes the coupling of Multiphase (Eulerian) , species transport (Reactions) , Population Balance Model(Particle size distribution) , Solidification/Melting ( Ash Melting phenomena) .
, I simulated the models separately but unable to couple them simultaneously. If you can provide any path or steps to couple these models or any kind of help . I will be grateful to you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

VERY informative video Snigdha. I will more happy to see a video on how to model the sediment transport in a rectangular channels.is VOF or mixture model suitable to model sediment water mixture and how about large size of sediment in water? BTW you have nice Voice than John

Please I'd like to know: Is there a particular syntax used for typing the execute commands? Also can you share the setup file? I can give my email address if this is possible. Thank you
