54knots at 5000rpm ??? That seems not right for a 3.5ton boat ? Still plenty of revs left so would pull over 60knots ? Doesn’t seem right for twin 225s . If it is , fuck that’s quick 😂
Yeah, there's another Strachan I know of with older Yam 225's that does the same speed, but maybe not at 5000. Mick comes from a pretty locally famous family of offshore racers so he knows his stuff with speed. I think these have since been chipped and doing 330hp each.
That’s one of the most beautiful and complete Rigs and fit outs in Australia! Period!!!
Absolutely ripper of a boat!! Enjoy💪
Love to see how this boat is going 4 years later. Being the owner of 6.8m CamCraft, be interesting to compare. Nice boat
It lives around the corner from Hooked Up HQ so we see it a bit. Still going strong! Thanks for watching.
Great to see someone putting alot of thought into their design. This is an awesome rig.
Too bad it was holmer Simpson putting the thought into it.
Nice boat what a cool show to watch hopefully there's plenty more to come of all types and sizes of boats
Thanks for the feedback mate. And yes, this isn't a show about offshore boats. We have some very different stuff happening over the next few.
Beautiful boat and fit out
Couple of things I’d do different, but it’s not my boat! Great to see, thanks for sharing! 😃
That's what it's all about, finding things you'd do different or the same.
Great video, thanks! And awesome job with the boat, it's amazing
Thanks for watching. Plenty more of these to come.
Good review 👍
Wicked boat
I love these videos see if u can do a 750 northbank❤️❤️
Thanks for watching. There is one we our eye on. Subscribe for all the updates.
we’ve got the same matting on our barcrusher i absolutely hate it. couldn’t think of anything worse to use as flooring.
It’s light though which is important on a 4.5t set up
Its better in glass boats on Flo coat surface- more friction. On alloy its a total PITA.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The difuser??
It's a plastic sheath that goes over the LED strips to diffuse the light out.
Are you going to drink that beer?
Haha. It's a big complement to the editor that you think that was one take and one beer.
OMG it's like this boat was designed by Holmer Simpson. Should have just bought an Edencraft.
$400'000 do you think
Nah about half that.
