In the mind of a herald (which is me) :D
-> I go for brown boots first item (my reasoning is in most scenarios it allows you to auto-attack without being hit back, dropping the need for tangos for yourself)
-> I go for 0-4-4-1 on the skills because as the author said, SS is weak mid game but I found that this weakness is decreased if you have skill 2 and 3 on full and have a blue boots.
-> I use serpent wards and whoever the f*** enemy hero is nearest me when it's available and farm the enemy like clinkz. This also trains my teammates to understand I'm not just going to use my serpents on towers but on potential kills as well. The reason why SS dies when trying to go for a kill is because you haven't trained your teammates to respond. Show them you have this intention and they will follow suite (just like in boxing right? Jab first before the Cross)
-> For the author more open lanes means more opportunities to farm. For my herald brain, earlier blink + you training your teammates to gank means more money/farm for everyone.
-> early aether lens + shard + glimmer is for me a luxury, my herald brain thinks you should be able to play SS without the the range and escape buffs because it is entirely possible that your team will be losing laning to mid game. A true herald (lol) plays shaman blink first item. You have to train yourself to disengage from a clash after you've engaged and used skills via their normal cast ranges.

best low rank hero becauae noone is pushib anf everyone fights 5v5 all the time for no reason. fight bear objectives so after fight you can take tower pr roshan

You can say that. But it is a good hero for higher rank too, because of the crowd control he has.
