Thanks for showing up the process. In my case the dispenser stopped working after a year. After looking at this video and another one, I decided to first try and clean the battery leads before dismantling the device. And I was correct! I found out that one of the contacts had corrosion. I scrubbed it out and walla! the distancer started working again.
Thanks for the suggestion on how to open with a nail. In my case the issue was with a sensor, one of the leads wasn't connected with an SMD sensor so I had to solder a bypass wire
Obviously this item has a manufacturer issue of malfunctioning all of them, I have done research , we all have same complaints of the same issues, we all should file a complaint with this manufacture from China.

The motor dimensions are 24x18mm, and the voltage would be 5V, correct? Do you have any info about revolutions RPM? I need to buy a new motor. Do you know where to buy it internationally? Aliexpress for instance? Thank you for being so supportive.
Thanks for sharing! Would you show if it is possible to clean the sensor from inside also? My sensor is not working well.. I have to go as close as to touch the sensor for the foam to be dispensed.
It is possible. You just hv to unscrew the 4 screws holding the foaming spout. And the sensor would be underneath it. Don't forget to get the small rubber nub out where the sensor is held up against so you can really clean it up.

You should have used two slot near battery holder. Insert gently a piece of thin metal. No new hole is necessary

Just switch off, wipe the sensor thoroughly, and then switch on. It WILL work.
