My fairly new I3 was constantly getting a bumper stuck error, even though the bumper moved freely. It would just stop in the middle of a room for no reason. iRobot support told me to reset the robot, which didn't help. I took it apart and bent the metal spring arms so that they would provide more resistance against the bumper. I didn't expect it to help, but it is running fine now.

Didnt see my bumper off track but I did this loosing all the bumper screws pushed in the bumper as I tightened them up and it works

If you do this every time before operating it you should be able to clean one room. Make sure you choose the right room. Once completed, repeat the process by taking it apart
