The chocolate whoopee pies were all we needed to see to know we would love that store. All the baked goods looked delicious!
The baked goods did look amazing. When the young lady was putting the cookies on the shelf I asked her if they were made that morning and she said yes. They keep everything well stocked. Thanks for watching.
Good seeing y'all again everything looks good it's Jessica Fallen ❤tell Carly said hi
Hello Jessica! Hope you are having a great Saturday! Cary said hello. 😃

Hey you were in my town! That apple cake is divine! The Orange Juice cake is good also! I was just there on Thursday!
We were there on Friday so we just missed you. We loved this store and everything we got! We tried the Orange Juice cake as soon as we got back home and loved it. We just got one of the mini ones but know now how good it is.
We loved the area and saw several different places we would like to try. Have you tried Frost Cafe before? Hopefully we will be back to do some more reviews.
There is another wonderful store in Madison County called Yoders. And there is the sister Ole Country Store in Chanckellor Virginia towards Fredericksburg called Balttlefield Country Store and they do the mason jar ice cream milkshakes.
We thought we were going to stop by Yoders yesterday. However we spent a lot of time at this store and then explored Culpepper a little bit. We will definitely be going to Yoders too. I had another subscriber to recommend Battlefield Country Store to us too. So it is on our list. Love going to stores like this.
@@vafunseekers I do too! God Bless you all and safe travels as well.
If, I went there I would buy A LOT more than I would have planned!
So many items in here to buy! We enjoy looking around at everything and seeing what all they carry. The selection here was amazing for it not actually being in an Amish area.
David, Cindy, your meals looked awesome. That place was spotless too. I wish we had a place like that in my hometown.
David and I were talking earlier about how clean this store is. I believe Titus told us the store has been there about 10 years. It looks like it has been there a couple years. Very impressed with the cleanliness and variety. If we had a place like this near us, we would be there lots. Thanks for watching.
Walnut Creek and Holmes County, Ohio is the largest Amish community in the USA. Berlin, Millersburg, Charm are beautiful towns with rolling hills and great Amish restaurants.
We visited the Ohio Amish area when Carly was less than 6 months old. We wanted to go on a vacation but something that would be appropriate bringing a baby along too. It was the perfect destination.
We would love to go back and explore more places. We love just riding around and seeing the beautiful countryside. Thanks for watching and commenting. God Bless.
Lancaster PA has one of the largest Amish population anywhere
@@wendyzimmerman6002 I just googled it out of curiosity. According to Google Lancaster has the largest population and Ohio the second largest. I have visited both places and know there are large Amish communities in both places.
Suggest a ride to Sugarcreek, Ohio in Tuscarawas County. Large Amish population there. (I went for the Age of Steam Museum... bucket list item...)
@@johnpinckney4979I grew up in Sugarcreek! My parents live right up the road from the giant cuckoo clock ❤
Wow what an amazing place!!!
It really is! We enjoyed our visit here and will definitely be going back. I told David if the store was near us, I know he would be stopping by there on his lunch break all the time. lol Thanks for watching!
I’d be in my element if I were in that store. I love visiting this type of establishment. I’m glad to know that it’s not that far from home. Another great informative video. Thanks for sharing. It’s good to know I can purchase Kaufman’s apple cider here in Virginia.
Absolutely!! Such a wonderful store with such variety. As you can tell from the video we were tickled to see Kaufman's at this store. You will enjoy the store!
I’m obsessed with Whoopi pies. Great looking store.😊
We were impressed with how many products the store had from the Amish area and all of the fresh baked items. David was won over by the plate lunch and the apple cider we normally get from Kauffman's store in Lancaster. We will be back! Thanks for watching!
I used to get the house-brand Whoopie Pies at Loblaws and Sternbergs in my younger days.
Thanks for sharing this trip with us Have Bless Weekend.
You are welcome. Appreciate you coming along! 😃 God Bless!
i love seeing all of the blue collar workers rushing in for a good meal and good deal. 😊
I know! When we first got to the store it was about 10:30 and it was moderately busy. People started lining up at the window right before 11 to get the plate lunch. Lots of people in and out getting lunch. Definitely a busy place. We loved it!
There's a small Amish community up here in northern Michigan, and they also have a small market. I go there to stock up on spices and baking ingredients because it's the cheapest place around. I love it!
Thanks for showing us around this lovely market! 💜
I’ve always found that spices are cheaper at Amish stores. I enjoy looking around the Amish stores and seeing all the different products. Thanks for watching!
A lot of good stuff to choose from
Yes it is Ricky!
Hello Guys
That turtle cheesecake looked amazing. Whoopie pies, Woe!! Lunch looked great. Thanks for sharing. SMKK
The turtle cheesecake did look yummy. I wish I had got a slice. Next time will do.
Love you all's videos
Thank you so much! We appreciate you watching our videos!
Great video, very interesting!
Glad you enjoyed it! We really enjoyed visiting the store. They have such a huge variety of merchandise. Thanks for watching!
This store looks awesome! I was just in Luray, VA last week. I wish I would have known about this place. I would have stocked up on lots of goodies. Y'alls food looked delicious! Definitely going to put this on my list. Great video.
The store was wonderful. Had such a good time just looking around at all the different items. Sorry we didn't discover here earlier so you would have known. While you were in Luray, did you happen to go to Cooter's, The Cavern's or Rt 11 Chips in Mt, Jackson?
Our lunch was delicious! Definitely put it on your list! Thanks for watching!
@vafunseekers Yes! We did all those. There is a parade floats museum less than a mile from the route 11 chips factory we did too. That was pretty cool to see. We will definitely be back in that area. So pretty up there.
@@DJ-zw5ze I have never heard of the parade floats museum. Glad you enjoyed the area.
Have fun and enjoy
We really enjoyed here! Thanks so much for watching.
Yalls food looked very good 👍
It was! Definitely fresh and delicious! Plus reasonably priced. Thanks for watching.
I'm sad but glad there's no store like that near me! Money would just flow out of my hands.
So many awesome items in this store! Easy for that money to fly right out of the hands. lol Thanks for watching.
@@vafunseekers So true. It all looked delicious.
I had no idea Amish were in Virginia. I know we had Mennonites. The desserts sound delicious
There are actually quite a few Amish that live in surrounding counties to us (Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland). The baking in this store was done by Mennonites and all the different Amish products came from Pennsylvania and Ohio. I was impressed with the variety. Look forward to returning.
@@vafunseekers I'm not surprised. They have them in the Carolinas as well.
You guys sure get around!!!
We try! lol We enjoy exploring and finding new places. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful store❤❤❤
It really is a beautiful store. So clean and so many Amish products too. Enjoyed looking around and having lunch here. Thanks for watching!
@vafunseekers If I was living in that area I would definitely give my support to them regularly
That sandwich looks fantastic. Cindy talking about how fresh the bread is just reminded me that I wanted to make a load of bread today and forgot all about it. I guess that'll be tomorrow.
It was obvious that bread was made that morning. Maybe you can make your bread later. 😃All the ingredients were so fresh on the sandwich, which makes all the difference. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Woo hoo! What a fun video 👏😀 loved seeing all the Lancaster foods and my mouth dropped open when I saw Kauffman’s apple cider! 🥰 Lots of goodies here! Hope it’s close enough for you all to get this stuff for your home 🏠 I also loved how nicely organized it was especially the wood shelving. How long have they been around? I may have missed that in the video ☺️ thanks again!
I believe it has been around 10 years. It looks new. Everything was clean, well organized, and well stocked. We were excited to see so many products from Lancaster and Ohio. As you could tell we were beyond excited to see Kauffman's apple cider. We love that stuff! I knew you would love this place!
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure! We really enjoyed visiting the store. God Bless.
Y'all should got some scrapple. I know I would. I'll check that place out the next time i'm down that way.
We skipped the scrapple. lol I think you will enjoy the store. Thanks for watching.
@@vafunseekers If you want to try Scrapple for the first time, I suggest maple syrup with it.
This looks like the kind of place where I would spend lots of time and money! I definitely want to try the Kauffman's apple cider. I have never heard of it before your video.
So much to see in the store. The Kauffman's apple cider is our favorite. Have you ever tried Morris apple cider? That's from Monroe, VA. It's good but not as good as Kauffman's. Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thank you! Awesome store here!
Love this place very close to where I live
Nice. We really enjoyed the store and our delicious lunch. If we were closer we would definitely be eating lunch there often and shopping. Thanks for watching!
If you guys get a chance you need to go to the Melting Pot in Front Royal Va. the pizza and wings are delicious!
This was another suggestion that we have seen a couple of times. It's on our list and definitely a place we want to visit. Thanks for the suggestion! When we see places that several people suggest, it lets us know that it's probably a must go to.
Cindy, don't be offended by David mentioning their corn when you start cooking and eating the noodles.
I won't be. He hasn't stopped talking about their corn so I won't be offended when he continues to do it. lol Thanks for watching and commenting. God Bless.
Well the store looks like they have a lot of great Amish products to eat. The pies had my mouth watering. I haven’t had a strawberry rhubarb pie in a longtime and the pies there looked amazing. The breads all looked good also.
The lunch special David got looks just like what my Grandma Kibler would make. She always served corn freshly cut off the cob. Cindy’s ham sandwich looked delicious also I really enjoy a good deli style ham sandwich.
It looks like you took home some good items I kept hoping you were going to show a strawberry rhubarb pie. Maybe next time.
Great video.
Lots of yummy bakery items for sure. The strawberry rhubarb pies definitely looked delicious.
If that store was near us we would definitely go there for a lunch plate or a sandwich. The quality is great and the prices are so reasonable. Have you been to Yoder's at Bull's Gap, TN?
@@vafunseekers No we have not. We used to live near an Amish area in Northern Indiana so we really love their food.
That is my kind of store. So many things I'd love to try. And that sandwich you got, yum! What is that kind of ham- did you say cherry ham?
I am also really interested in those marshmallows. I bet there's not a lot of bad ingredients in those. I'd have gotten a bag of those! Thanks for choosing this place to share with us. 🎉
Have a good Sunday!
The ham was cherry wood ham. I never had it before but it was very tasty The lady behind the counter said it is a little spicy but I didn't find it to be spicy.
I'm pretty sure there would be bad ingredients in the marshmallows. lol Only time I normally eat a marshmallow is when we roast them.
You would love this store. We really enjoyed it! Hope you are having a good weekend.
@vafunseekers I make homemade marshmallows and oh my goodness......I just love them lol.
Thank you I'm having an ok weekend even with this flu-like stuff going on. The cold medicine and naps help!
@@seaglass1111 I've never made marshmallows. Sounds so yummy!
Get lots of rest and liquids. Hope you are feeling better soon.
I’m from Ohio Amish country - so stores like these are familiar to me ❤. And you are 100% correct - Walnut Creek Cheese company is in ohio- my brother in law has worked there for many years. and my dad grew up real close to there in Walnut Creek
and restaurants in my neck of the woods- dutch valley der dutchman etc - still have the peanut butter spread and apple butter on the tables ❤
We have been to Ohio Amish Country but it's been over 13 years. Carly was a baby when we went. We would love to go back and see the beautiful area again. We really enjoyed it when we were there before. We do go to Lancaster at least once a year.
Heather, I love the peanut butter spread and apple butter on the tables. One of the Amish restaurants in Pennsylvania has homemade strawberry preserves that they serve with their rolls. So good! When we visited Ohio we found the best doughnuts in a little shop in the middle of the country.
@@vafunseekers i’m wondering which donut place you’re referring too. my parents don’t live in the country. but in sugarcreek there’s several super good donut places.
@@heatherrowe4591 I would love to know so we can visit again
Great video🌻 I would spend a fortune.
It doesn't take long. So many great products. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The ugly chips are made by Diefenbach and central Pennsylvania. The Diefenbach ship company is less than half an hour from my home.
That's so cool! They were good chips. Lots of things good things come from Pennsylvania.
Recent events have caused my original comments to be revised a bit! I almost cried when I saw David's corn. It looked exactly like what my grandmother did to fresh corn when I couldn't eat corn on the cob due to braces. (Yes Carly, I had braces when I was a kid. I had so much metal in my mouth that compasses would point to me.) When I was down there with my braces on, that was what everybody got. David, TNX for bringing back perhaps the least unpleasant part of a rather unpleasant part of my childhood! As for the "Cow Palace" ice cream? As my long-ago KHJ colleague Charlie Van Dyke once said on KFRC while tag-teaming with Dr. Don Rose one morning, "I bet it's udderly exciting!" (Long and very funny RKO Radio story behind it!) I want to thank you for sharing what looks like a great day date idea. One thing I'm beginning to think I might find in an Amish store are Nanaimo Bars. Something else I got hooked-on up north. We used to buy them at the supermarkets if we couldn't hit the farmstands on Saturday mornings. If Canada had a Jeff Foxworthy, I can imagine what he would say, "If you live north of the 49th and don't like Nanaimo Bars, you might not be a Canadian!" If you ever see them, PSE let me know! Many TNX for a great review! God Bless!
The corn was delicious! I see recipes online that you could make some Nanaimo Bars. I had never heard of them. Will definitely let you know if I see any Nanaimo Bars anywhere. No comment on the milk?
@@vafunseekers Sorry about not acknowledging your mention of the chocolate milk. TNX for the reminder that I may need to become more attentive than I have been over the past 13 years! Still a strange situation for me...!

David's food was so good! However that sandwich I had was also delicious. We try to get different things so we can show the viewers different items. The prices were so reasonable too.
All the baked goods looked amazing. 😋 I couldn't get over how many items the store actually had from Pennsylvania and Ohio.
