    Hello ausi Bohlale, thank you once again for the amazing videos and insightful knowledge. Can you please do a video explaining to us, what recruiters are expecting from the applicants when it comes to online IQ and personality tests/assessments (psychometric). How much weight does the assessments carry to the entire selection criteria? Thank you.

    Thank you for this informative video!
    How do we answer the "Tell us about your background" question? How do we know what is relevant or irrelevant and how can we prevent going into information that is overly personal about our background?

      Hi Remo,
      I’m usually very good at responding to my comments, but somehow you seem to have slipped through, sorry about that!
      I’ve done a video on this, which I hope you have watched by now. If not let me know

    Leaply is really restrictive sometimes and the fact that most of the companies are now using it for vac work/articles applications puts some of us in a disadvantageous position. I finished my BA law degree last year and I had done relatively well in my first and second year but last year was a bad year for me and my average dropped tremendously so now since I’m enrolled for the LLB -2year stream I’ve been trying to apply for articles/vac work at various companies using the Leaply platform but I’ve been barred from doing so on almost every attempt since my average for last year was below 65 thus categorizing me as “ineligible”. This means that the companies won’t even get to go through my transcript and see my overall performance throughout the years and that I’ve been basically written off. It’s truly worrying!

      I’ll raise it with them…💯🙌🏾 hopefully they can do something about it

      Some of our averages are well above 65% yet our applications never get the time of day! trust me, you are not alone!
      Leaply is not a good platform

    So informatve!
    When applying for bursaries through Leaply, the document section only allows for an ID copy, a Matric Certificate and Updated tertiary transcript.
    However, when applying for eg, a Bowmans bursary that would have a Grade 11 transcript as an additional requirement in the application, where can we upload that?
    Thank you!

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  3 роки тому +1

      You need to upload Grade 11 if you don’t have a matric certificate, and that’s where you’d upload it under the link for the matric certificate/ transcript!!!

    Thank you so much. However can I ask how do you go around the issue of your marks not meeting the threshold of the firm requirements even when they dont stipulate the average needed how do you still get articles with marks that arnt so great?

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  3 роки тому

      To be honest it’s very difficult to get articles when your marks aren’t great. It’s a competitive market and it’s important that you have that off the bat!

      Ausi Bohlale, what happens when your marks get better in the last 2/3 years like have an average of 70+ if the rest of your transcript is just average?

    I would just like to know If having dreadlocks as a male might be a disadvantage when attempting to get vac work or articles, even if the dreadlocks are neat?

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  3 роки тому

      That shouldn’t be a disadvantage at all 🙌🏾 just ensure that they are neat then you are good to go 👍🏽
