Just a couple of tips: 1. Not cleaning the grill before cooking is nasty. 2. If you would lube the grill before starting you wouldn't leave so much meat behind on the grill.

How long did it take after flipping the 1st time for the bubba burgers? I'm trying to get a sense of time to avoid opening the top too many times and letting all that heat out.

Crystal Ingram hi sweetie , he said when you see the puddle of juice on the top of the burgers between 5-7 minutes of smoking which is letting it sit in the grill ( usually when it turns brown on the bottom and shrinked slightly flip it k). Please don't over cook because then all the " juice" of the burgers drys out and then you are stuck with dry burgers. Hot dogs are so easy we usually swell our hot dogs in a boil first then grill because of the flavor and the grill marks. Oh, be sure to wash all package meat first to prevent cross contamination with uncooked food vs. cooked foods. Burgers are also good when seasoned with salt, pepper, or even a little mrs. Dash . yes, I hope this all helps and GOD bless you .

I see all these vids and they are only cooking 2 to 7 burgers thats easy you almost cant screw it up. I have 5 good size kids and a wife so we have to cook 20 burgers, 3 staeks and mushrooms, corn and onions and hot dogs on a kettle without putting the charcoal out with the burgers. We need more videos about big family BBQ.

Agreed, am trying to figure out how best to cook 40 burgers and 40 dogs for a church cookout using a 22" Webber. Any suggestions? 2 zone heating or the whole thing direct heat? Covered or uncovered? I'm thinkig about maybe putting down a layer of unlit charcoal then putting the burning coals on top to prolong the amount of cooking time I can get from the coals. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

      I don’t have kids and I’m 25 😝
Here is my suggestion if you want to cook for a big crowd on a regular size Weber kettle...buy enough charcoal
Fire up the grill then cook as many burgers as you can once you notice that your coals are about to start going out...light up more coals in the chimney once they are ready use one of those tough gloves that won’t burn your hands and remove the grill then add in more hot coals and just keep doing that until your finished cooking

If you don’t have one already, get a chimney starter. That way you can light more charcoal on the side in between batches as it burns out. Wrapping the cooked food in thick heavy duty aluminum foil keeps it warm longer. I am usually just cooking small batches for my boyfriend and my mom, but this is what we did a potlucks.

I know this is way old, but it's an interesting comment. In my experience, more than a couple of burgers at a time results in big flare ups from all the fat rendering. I'd think that you'd need a couple of BBQs going for that many people.

"Bad Boys"? LOL, People still say that? Charcoal is better then gas in flavor (if u like to taste gas...well... But there are way better alternatives to charcoal so you don't have to taste the charcoal or the lighter fluid. Try real wood chunks and no lighter fluid. A million times better (just visit any real BBQ competition and see what they say about Gas and charcoal if you don't believe me), but Charcoal is still way better then gas. Also, I recommend fresh (over frozen) and put an ice-cube in the center of each burger (helps keep the juice inside).

disgustingly dirty grill, not too much bacteria on there. And don't tell me the bacteria is cooked off. That grill was basically cold when you put the burgers on the grill. I am fairly certain you had the sh_ts for a few days after eating that stuff. Kid, don't follow that man's example.
