What an excellent find/discovery by Joyce, that looked really cool, and right up your street too mate, glad your holiday is giving you both surprises as you go. All the best. Brian.
Hey, Brian! Very true... keen eyes by Joyce, I don't know that I would have seen it had she not pointed it out. We will never know. The historical toys are what really got to me there!
Hello, Andy! The old Märklin toys were the real stars of the place. The layouts were cool and well done. One can not compare it to MiWuLa- not fair to either. It was a great little find and glad we visited!
Super nice Guys. Seeing some of those cars reminds me of the train trips I did in Europe when I was 10. Thank you so much. Oh there was at least 1 train here that stopped at the station lol
I had no idea this place existed, Arty. Joyce and I had no intention of really going through Titisee because we were warned off it by so many. We went to kill some time and, but even amongst all the tourist-trap stuff there were a couple gems!
Wow what a cool little place, really enjoyed the video. Amazing looking at what products Marklin first produced right up to current day amazing. Enjoy your trip take care.
Hi Anthony & Joyce, A kid in a sweet shop comes to mind or that should be a BIG kid in a S/S a super tour for us thanks so much and will try to join you on your live one at 8.30 tonight for a short time. I hope the holiday is progressing well and you are both having a super time. Cheers Robert.
Omg Anthony and Joyce, what a great place. Loved all the historical toys! And I didn’t know that Marklin started Z scale. Really interesting place and toys. I love 🥰😍 TOYS!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Hello, Ray and Tammy! I am glad if folks don't mind a little vicarious visiting with us. I certainly enjoy seeing what other folks get up to and where they go, so we like to share ours!
Hiya, Arthur. Thanks for stoppng in. We are not on YT at all right now because we are up at dawn and gone til bedtime. I hope you are having a good time and I miss seeing your videos- you've out up a couple recently, and I will try to get to them as I can!
Very enjoyable Anthony and Joyce...and if you dont mind me saying...as epic as the Wonderland was, this was much better, much more intimate where you could get right up close to themodels and layouts. Almost as if you had the place to yourselves. Excellent.
It was a great little find. I am so glad Joyce saw the sign. I might have missed it. Upon first impression, I thought it might have been a bit expensive for what was there, but, in the end it was a great place, and the price really was not that bad.
You are absolutly right, Jean Ricard, does love it. That was really a surprise to see this that was a really fine collection, it seems like they have a very representative collection that little layout was the rarity called minex and was narrow gauge in o scale only produced from 1970 to 1972.
More trivia about Minex: The Efteling bought most of the unsold stock and used it until it was no longer serviceable. Afterwards they tore up the track and replaced it with Fleischmann Magic Train (which is the same size)
A few highlights 3:49 The dutch / swiss TEE trainset, which was later sold to Canada where they replaced the Werkspoor 6 axle locomotive with an EMD F7. The yellow/blue ones are the Canadian colors. One of these is being restored at the moment (and repainted back in the cream and red colors) 4:11 The layout in the background is an earlier version of the M track system, rolling stock for that is sometimes incompatible with newer M track as the early versions used a continuous center rail and very short skids 5:19 The famous Marklin bridges 6:06 That blue ones is the original of the 2023 re-release 10:58 CIWL cars in the early cream / teak scheme, the same set as Jim Hovermotion has in blue
Hi, Ivo. Thanks for more background. I definitely noticed some variations in the M track and enjoyed seeing how it changed over the years. The CIWL cars were gorgeous... these seemed a bit older and different to any sets I had seen before- probably much older. Indeed the Yellow and Blue is Ontario Northern. It was funny to see that yellow and blue of a TEEE then have the yellow and blue Koploper on the shelf next to it. I found that really interesting for some reason.
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Hi Mike, glad you liked it!
Fantastic videos 👍 grettings 🖐️
Thank you! Cheers!

What a find, a lot less hustle and bustle than wunderland, first class.

It was definitely a cool little find and fun to go through. The old toys were the real value, even more than the layouts!
Neat display. Yes, that is what vacations are for!
The unexpected finds and little places like this definitely make the trips more special!

Hello, Robert!
It has been a great trip and this was a real surprise for me and quite enjoyable. I marvelled at the old toys as much as the trains!
Omg Anthony and Joyce, what a great place. Loved all the historical toys! And I didn’t know that Marklin started Z scale. Really interesting place and toys. I love 🥰😍 TOYS!!!! Thanks for sharing.
This was an amazing little find. The layouts were cool and nicely done, but the old toys are what really interested me.
Great find Anthony and Joyce thanks for sharing. Regards Tom
It really was a fun place to visit and glad Joyce caught the sign!

Check your email Ray sent you and Joyce something 😊🥰
My Oma bought me my first Marklin set in 1969 and I have stuck with Marklin exclusively ever since. I have converted the older Locs over to digital.
I love to hear from folks who have done it all their lives. I am newer and do modern era, but I love them and their products!
While growing up in Germany my mother used to spend the summers in Titisee (1935 - 1942)
A beautiful place!

Hiya, Tim! It was a cool place... definitely small and not a crowd to deal with. The old toys were the real fun for me.
Lovely little museum and great model of the Dornier X hanging up there as well!
It was a great little find. I am so glad Joyce saw the sign. I might have missed it. Upon first impression, I thought it might have been a bit expensive for what was there, but, in the end it was a great place, and the price really was not that bad.
Nice little find, Well worth a look round
It was... I am not happy how dismissive I sounded at the start of the video... it was a very cool place and worth the time!

I loved the old toys going back to the 19th century and early 20th, but a LOT of old model trains from all the eras of Märklin.
Very interesting to know! We also saw a mini-Z layout as made by NOCH (and still made, I believe)
