Play a little with the LP reg ES will imprive a lot. Beautiful gun, I got the gray one (gun metal) in .30 cal but now I wish it was green like this one

Hi Rick, comparing this gun to the FX impact 22 caliber 700 mm Barrel shooting slugs which one would you prefer in terms of shot count, energy at the target and accuracy? I hear this is gun is less finicky in terms of leakage.
Simplicity will always outweigh technology! A mate just got one of these Epoch's & they forgot to include the magazine in the box! He had it 2hrs then it stopped firing due to an issue regarding the trigger so it's on it's way back! Simplicity wins!
Western makes some basic design air rifles. The only thing is they use a hammer less system, which is new but has fewer parts, and some say is the future of pcp's. They aren't cheap. It's what I would buy if 2k fell out of the sky 😂
Can you do some videos with real FPS at contacts @ *25, 50 & 100 yards? See too many beginners to killers placing the chronograph at barrel's output. 1. If 25 @ dead on target. How much off out of the box? 2. 50, much drops? 3. 100, how much drops respect to 25 yards 4. At 100 yards, how many shots until empty 5. If using hand pump, how many pumps until fully filled? If using AC, what brand & model are you using?

Don’t know if I like the idea of removing the air from my gun every time I put it away for a day or two and having to refill it. All my other PCPs I leave the air in them. I think this would get old quickly.
@@lukesowinski3744 yeah I get that but to me this is something that needs resolved. That’s a lot of air to replace with out having anything other than “YOU HAVE TO DO THIS” kinda thing. Compressors are not cheap and the more efficient we get own guns the longer our air source lasts! To me this is a design flaw that desperately needs fixing.🤷♂️💯
What you might have noticed also Rick is there isn't a single video anywhere of the skout hunting or pesting and its been out literally 6 months!!!!! That to me is 🤯 and you definitely need to fix that 👍
The real i go into the woods is to NOT hear a woman talking to me especially an AI woman rrr gun rrr air rifle...😅 i understand i can turn that off but imagine it totally spooking your hunt 😅

I have not shot slugs out of the Skout pellets only so far . But the King 600 mm is a slug slinger for sure !

Skout Epoch with 700 mm barrel one of the best pcp on the market . One disadvantage is No battery no shooting :(

Yea, we would be buying compressors 3 times a year as would be wearing them out.😢
There is an on/off valve on the bottle, so you only remove the plenum air pressure. You only loose roughly 500 psi (35bar) during the process.
