I have had a Clement deck since the sets prerelease. MVP cards for my deck are Aluren, Tangleroot, and Shrieking Drake. All of these get significantly better if you have Lightning Greaves on board as well. Also, I noticed in your furst play test section that you didn't put enough counters on your Communal Brewing. The card enters with 1+X where X is the number of opponents who drew a card. Meaning all of thise creatures would have an additional +1/+1 counter.
Also, don't forget your frogs can tap for creature Mana. Example: If you had a Sunshower Druid in play from the turn prior, when the next creature (with CMC >1) you can tap Sunshower in response to being targeted for the green Mana to recast it.
@@hometowncommander You are absolutely right about that. I do highly recommend multiple sources of haste though for the deck like Lightning Greaves and Concordant Crossroads. Example: You have Lightning Greaves, Clement and Sunshower Druid in play while having several creatures you wish to cast in hand. You can tap the Sunshower Druid for the 1 Green required to recast it. Play 1 creature bouncing Sunshower and recast it with the Mana you produced from it. Then you can move Greaves onto Sunshower tap it for the Mana again then move the Greaves to Clement or the newly entered creature to remove the Shroud from Sunshower allowing it to be bounced one more and repeating the process.
Really cool set up, I have a Clement deck but aside from my cast of frogs, I decided to capitalize on the fact that while he's out, all my creatures are mana dorks and run cards in my bulk like Frilled Mystic and Mystic Snake. Both flash creature counterspells for 4 mana, usually literally unplayable but they're surprisingly good with Clement out because they can be bounced back to hand. They work best with Murkfiend up and I probably don't need both of them, but protecting my creatures from wipes and spot removal is so important, and enchantments that can make all of my creatures frogs are also paramount to keep on the board. I prefer to just load up heavy on creatures with inherent flash, but Prophet of Kruphix is for sure an absolute autoinclude here, just a bit monolithic on the board so itll need a lot of protection. Plus, one of my all time favorites Hullbreaker Horror fits amazingly in a creature heavy Clement build, I love it.
Trying to build a clement deck similarly focused on flash creatures like you mentioned (wanted to run sister of silence lol). Glad it's working out for ya. Thought of Prophet of Kruphix too but forgot it's banned in EDH 😓 Probably for the best but I think Clement deserves that card! lol
I've been playing clement for a little now, and the ozolith does feel like a good include. Sarruk and goreclaw feels like a good include in here too for the counter and haste. Mine focuses more on artifact creatures and cost reducers. Once you get the creatures down to being free, it becomes something like a storm deck with all the draw triggers and doesn't stop. Intruder alarm also helps with seemingly neverending frog mana.
You could also use things like Venser, shapers servant and bonus their stuff back. There's also Alter of the broud as well. Also for more mana ramp you can use the legendary that blue and green and when you tap a creature for mana you can add mana of any color and it doesnt count jist towards creatures. You can use intruder alarm to untap your frogs and continue to pay for the legendaries search effect playing creatures from your deck.
I went a different way with this. I went with octomancer, fisher’s talent and shark typhoon. All your 1 and 2 mana bounce spells basically can get you a bunch of 8/8 octopuses.

I did not catch that note on the Communal Brewing! I appreciate that
Great call again! I'm missing them all out here, but hey that is how we learn and get better

I've been using Clement commander deck for a couple of weeks but completely by passed the Lightning Greaves play, Thanks for the tip!
I feel like Splash Portal is probably one of my favorite bloomburrow cards
It’s such a great card at its minimum, and even better for the added draw
Really nice deck list ! Instead of it just being all the frogs, this feel really focussed :) eeeeppp I wanna try Clement out !
I tried my best to not just make it "LOL FROGS"

Isn't it lovely that Simic just does Simic things? I'm sure there's more gold in Clement's wallet I missed out on for sure!

I love Surrak/Claw! Great idea to spread the counters and haste abound
@@hometowncommander cloud stone curio is another card I use. It's a clement backup as well as a way to bounce your higher mana value cards.

Ahhhh good old Intruder Alarm, there’s no way to pay that off at all :P

Oooooooh I like it! That's the value we all NEED to see
