My angel tribal deck with Giada is my favorite deck of my collection. Its gets really out of hand SO fast, especially if you’re creating angel tokens, and the life gain is absolutely bonkers. Archangel of Thune is always a game-breaker for me.

Just a little tip to consider for Playtest 1: Turn 1 -> Fetch Jetmirs Garden Turn 2 -> Jacked Rabbit (X=0) Turn 3 -> Tapped Land, Sol Ring, Chittering Dispatcher, Attack with Jacked Rabbit (3 Creatures Total) Turn 4 -> Play Jetmir and Attack with Chittering and Jacked Rabbit (resolve chittering first) this would put you at 9 creatures with a Flawless maneuver as back up. Most likely resulting in one or more players being defeated.

A big, someone will say coinflip, self mill card i like is Out of Tombs from... warhammer i think (?). It scalea well with the game and can be a real threat, buuuut it really sucks if there are too many graveyard hate at the table.

Another solid deck!! I still favor Ren and Seri for a tribal deck, but that's just my preferred flavor.

The old Onslauht set had Beast creature type theme and it has Wirewood Savage, and Krosan Warchief both are slam dunks in Slinza. And they made Woodland Liege in foundations jumpstart which is basically doubles as another copy of the Wirewood Savage.

I kinda agree with your meta analysis on ninja commanders, this feels like a weaker option with the only uniqueness being +1/+1 counters which dimir doesn't have great support for

Played magic for a long time. Nowadays they just copy paste and change a type or a word. Magic creativity is gone.

Although some of the new Room cards have desirable effects, I'm put off by them because Anikthea's token copy of one from the graveyard will have both sides be locked since you didn't cast either half. Similarly, if you make a token copy of the Room on the feild, the new copy will not be unlocked even if the original was. So, yeah, Rooms have to have a REALLY good effect to find a deck slot here since they don't really work with what makes Anikthea cool.

I play an infect deck and now that I have knowledge of this card's existence the previous statement is now everyone's problem

One combo I included in my Gargos deck is Walking Ballista + Agatha's Soul Cauldron. Turns all of your 1/1 counters on every creature into a missile barrage of damage. Great way to end the game. Can also exile Selvala, hydra broadmaster, or any mana dork to generate insane amounts of mana. Also, I don't know if this card was out at the time this video released, but Bristly Bill goes crazy with this deck.

If my math is right, this guy could be ramped out turn 3. Elder Gargaroth, Questing Beast, and Realmwalker can be dropped turn 4. Craterhoof turn 5! Solid build! Taruean Mauler, Bloodline Pretender and Adaptive Automaton are contenders too. Automaton is an anthem that costs 1 in the deck. Mauler and Pretender can grow huge and will be removal bait instead of your commander. Also, Formless Genesis will have its cost reduced as it is a beast. Then it will make you a very large beast and you can keep cantripping with retrace. That could be a solid win con if you hold up lands in your hand with stuff like cultivate.

Great ideas! I have a few notes to compare to my build. I'd say consider the 3 spells Big Score, Pirate's Pillage and Unexpected Windfall. I find casting even when storm count is just 1 being able to get 4 treasures and draw 4 cards is an amazing way to dig and ramp. More likely storm 3 generally gives a full hand and a very bursty next turn. Also, Atarka's Command I love that pick!

These are the kind of spells I like playing when I have a card that says you can cast sorceries as though they had flash. 😂

A perfect video to watch while I work on my set of custom edh decks for my playgroup! Edit: I would recommend cutting Second Harvest in favor for more recursion or protection. I played a similar deck but for copy spell tribal and I found either never using it or I would have won anyway without it.
