What's up with the Lian Li O11 Vision?

- Prawn here with my review of the Lian Li O11 Vision. This is another great case from Lian Li that includes more glass than usual and some of the same flexibility that we've seen before with previous cases. It's not quite as modular but that certainly doesn't mean it's not good.
In this video I'm talking about my experiences building in the Lian Li O11 Vision and the things to keep in mind if you're planning on getting it and building in it. The build options are a bit more limited than other cases. For example, if you want a 360mm radiator then you can only really side mount it. If you want a 240mm radiator, then you need the motherboard in low mode, which leads to messier cables and other things. You'll see what I mean. Subscribe for the full build guide.

I just built my first pc in this case yesterday! Thank you very much for the in depth lian li fan videos the only person who made it understandable to me! This case is wonderful, breaks down so quickly tons of room in the back! It is pretty heavy so thats something to keep in mind with the glass panels if you have a disability this isn't gonna help your situation! Fidn a sweetheart to help ya move it about for ya!

Im using this case with my first build all i have left to buy is asrock taichi oc 7900xtx in my build i have 7800x3d, asrock b650e taichi lite mobo, 2x2tb 4.0 ssd, teamgroup ddr5 6000 2x16gb ram, Corsair hx1500i psu, deepcool lt720 360mm aio,Thermaltake SWAFAN EX12 and ex14 fans total price for build is right at 4k
How is your build doing now? Happy with the case and PSU? I am thinking about buying both of those :)
@BonaDeum i love the psu its amazing the case looks good but cable Management is a nightmare with this case the back dont have much room at all but it looks amazing
@@Jokers_Revenge Thanks! I think i’ll hold off on the case for now, until more BTF-cases are released :) The PSU just got $100 off, so it is tempting to pick it up now even though the build will probably not be until the fall/winter when new GPUs come out :)
@BonaDeum if its 100 off i would definitely go ahead and pick it up now if you can
Im worried about the air flow. The intake is hitting the glass panel directly, which gonna heat a bit the air and wont reach the motherboard propertly. (could be curved for)
Would only make sense if CPU and GPU are watercooled, so those 3 intake would cool the reservoir directly.
Also, why rear aio is facing down? Wont be a problem early on, but can lead to problems.
Nice looking case, specially for water cooling
the air flow goes to the glass but the exaustion fan pulls all the air, I do have this case with a 4070 super and i5 14700k, I will run some stress test and point it out here, just comment here again so I can remember to show the results!

@@S4RiaX Since I'm using a 14th gen intel processor my temps won't be low, I have 9 intake fans (I'm counting the push and pull radiator) and 2 exaustion fans, 100% usage of processor with undervolt but normal power limit and 5.5 Ghz limit reaches max 82 °C, but while gaming my processor won't get over 60 °C

This all glass look is beautiful! I’m considering using this case for my first build but I’m concerned about cooling. I’m going to be running an RTX 4090 do you think i should go with something that allows me to put fans or a radiator on the top panel?

The ssd slot was for me the hardest part. I just gave up. It was already hard to get ssd there and then the cable push the ssd little bit out.. so I cannot place ssd there.
Also the fans like you have I have same airflow direction but this makes looking ugly.... I would like to see infinite mirror effect. :S. So I think need to replace them.

if you want the latest and greatest go for this. H9 was basically just NZXT trying to do lian li a few years behind everybody else. of course, youre not gonna be able to top mount a rad or fans in this like you can in an h9. I would also check out vids on thermals between the two. I imagine the h9 could do better.

Form this model that have fan at the bottom and 240mm CPU LIQUID COOLER at the back. Is it attach vertical gpu holder with the remain PCIe slots? Please thank a lot.

How did you fit the strimer I can not get enough clearance?
Surprised no one is saying anything about his aio pump being higher than the radiator. More often than not, this could kill the aio pump.
How is the pump higher? It's on the CPU block?!
@TheProvokedPrawn All they mean is generally speaking you want to keep the coolant lines going into the radiator above the cpu cooler/pump. All you'd need to do is rotate that 180⁰ and it would avoid having the pump dealing with air bubbles that can work their way in😁
@TheProvokedPrawn Actually my bad! You have the optimal setup for that radiator. As long as the pump is not the highest point of the aio air will not get into the pump. Your setup is the best as any air formed from percolating would simply gather at the top of the radiator where it doesn't even matter. My apologies for giving out mis information😅
@@MyAnx1ety1880 mostly right. What i really mean is that the tubes going into the radiator should be above the cpu block/pump. i suppose the air could get trapped in the tube loop saving the pump but thats not something I would bet on.

Most modern cases don't have a place for Bluray drives anymore tbh

I have this case in black, and i did drop the motherboard down for the second rear fan.... but where are you getting the number of 11 being possible? 2 in the back by the cpu, 3 on the bottom, and 3 on the side/back.... where is there space left for more? You cant mount them on top its all glass... i mean you could but what would be the point with no air passing through?
Push/pull rad on the side.

@@Diablo69142 it means theres fans on the outside of the radiator "pushing" air through the radiator, and then more fans on the inside "pulling" air through the radiator. Basically just allows more fresh air in quicker.

You can install 6 on a 360mm rad
The worst thing about this case is the aio cant be mounted at the top and this is why i wouldnt buy this case

Similiar to a well ventilated micro atx build, atleast in my experience. 7850x3d + 4070ti

You're only showing it like half a second, but on 0:49 you're really stressing the cable and your SSD power connector. I have the same issue. The ssd door is terrible when it comes to plugging the powercables
Can this fit a 420mm radiator?
It looks cool, and if the air came in thr bottom and from the back and blows out the front it would run great, don't want hot air passing your rad. You want that as intake. I don't Wana clean all that glass every few days ahahahah. But I might get this. I need a new case for my 9 fans and 240mm rad. 3090 ft3 ultra needs room to breath and power cords t9 fit next to the glass lol

probably not ideal, as that is considered high-end and this case is mostly catered to entry - mid tier gaming pc's. (just my opinion atleast).
Is it reversible?
i think i like the original O11 more , im not sure how i feel about the glass top . I always liked how rgbs fans looked on the top . But i got to admit the fact u can shift and remove parts is sweet.
