Just a tip. The satin lining of the change pad is the anti-microbial treated fabric. Put that side down on the change table, and any messes will wipe up off the print side as it's Teflon coated. I've used my BFF change pad this way for 3+ years, only washed it once and there's nothing growing and no stains at all! The way I've described is the way it's supposed to be used and is the way it's been shown by Ju Ju Be to be used.

I'd go with a couple of mommy hooks. Those ones that are made for several shopping bags you can get at Babies R Us or buybuyBaby. This bag is heavy, especially when loaded up, I don't know that I would trust fabric long term.
