Sorry, but this video is a horrible instruction video. Its way to dark and the cutting makes it very hard to follow.
This manual I understand a lot better than the other even if the quality is bad. Before nags about others, it is better to make your own stuff better times.
G0LLUM-RC In fact I did my own instruction videos about the TBS Disco Pro on my channel in the meantime. :-) Feel free to visit my channel and compare them with this video.
Arthur Konze
Do you really think I do not know your videos? I would not write if I did not know !!!
Meinst du wirklich ich kenne deine videos nicht? Ich würde das nicht schreiben wenn ich die nicht kennen würde!!!
G0LLUM-RC Well, you complained about people who criticize about things, but don't do them better on their own. I am fully with you, but as I said, I didn't just criticize. Instead I really made a series about building the Disco Pro on my own. I personally like my videos better, but it's up to everyone to decide about that on his own. :-)
Arthur Konze Yeah, and also the fish-eye is kind of annoying
Cool, mine is in the post, bit too much on jump cuts sometimes I could not even read what was displayed :), but I Think I will manage to build it :)
looks dam sweet, having fun with my current Disco, looking forward to the update.
the soldering is actually easier than a DISCOVERY. so if you've built a DISCOVERY then this takes a bit more time but is actually easier.
that's the TBS GoPro Live out cable. we'll have it available as a separate purchase shortly.
yeah it's the gopro link cable. it's on our site under spare parts.
there are 8 vibration dampers mounted between the gimbal and frame.
in around 1 week. the final production run is underway.
Looks very nice. Of course ther would have to be a tbs guy builds it for me option, because I'd be to lazy for such a long build :-)
EDS, R/C car tools company.
yes, covering it and having flux do the rest of the job. you need a good soldering iron and the rest will be taken care of by the flux. the solder does not stick to the black part of the board, so it flows right into the "cracks".
just used this music, lol thanks for these how to's though. it is nice to see how the pros do stuff
JP, that's a WXP120 (120W) stencil with the biggest tip that they sell (can't remember the dimensions). Works a charm for this kind of work.
my god this would be amazing with the oculus rift
thanks :) the whole build from start to finish was 4 hours. the config with R/C another 2 hours. all in all we built in one afternoon, flew the next.
yes
very very very cool!!
Lighting is terrible. Oliver KMIA's build videos are far better.
Do it come with instructions? The video don't give enough information. Very little details and rushed. Things I need to know if I'm going to buy.
When is batch 2 going to be ready for purchase
Hello nastycop420. Each month I am buying components for my TBS Pro build. Just received my Pro Gimbal board from firstpersonview.co.uk - TOO EXCITED. Soon as I receive my next paycheque it's NAZA V2 + GPS. Please tell me what screwdrivers you're using in this video as they look quality! So difficult to find nice ones... Thanks!
Nice setup. Definitely a nice video machine, but I got to wonder how many of the people who order this actually can get it together like the TBS dudes do. That is an awful lot of soldering and putting of things together, like gimbals. I have done it, but it aint for the meek. Anyway, nice design for FPV/ video et al.
Wow great stuff for FPV, very cool video, just one question: using a gopro for FPV camera, is it a good idea?
Slow down! You're going too fast on the gimbal section. Also - better lighting! Can't see half the stuff on the gimbal section. The original Disco video was better.
What is the largest diameter motors that will fit on the 450 arms and lowest kv? what are the dimensions for the battery bay and will the osd take 6s power?
My TBS discovery pro it's not working I plug-in the battery lights go on but I can't seem to make the motors run
loving my Disco Pro.. had some teething trouble with it and the gimbal drifts when yawing! but still love it.. lol
Will there be a full uncut/minimal cut video posted sometime? Would love to see some post-build troubleshooting straight from the source.
Indeed I was amazed as Gareth at your soldering skills too, thanks for clarifying you be be mortal after all!
I see your soldering station may be a Weller WX1 (control unit), most grateful if you can tell me what wattage iron and tip you used, as I may decide to build one myself rather than go for the "build it" option, as I think I will learn far more about the quad that way. Thanks, and keep being awesome!
5 minutes in, you start soldering. It looks like you are just covering the entire contact area in solder but when you move the soldering iron out of the way, each tiny terminal is individually soldered. Are you a wizard? I take it you are just highly skilled and us mere mortals should just solder each terminal carefully, ensuring they are all separate and do not touch each other at any point?
any idea why my gimbal keeps going shakey and beeping? I cant get it to work properly.
and im using PPM with ezuhf when i connect to naza it shows my rudder is all the way on one side and even after calibration the rudder seems to be the only problem. any ideas?
Nice equipment! I want to get one! However, your video goes by too fast. And, you have to be a "speed reader" to read the text comments! Is it possible to create an additional more detailed and comprehensive video of the build? Thanks! You Guys make great stuff!
Explanations ? where are explanations video too fast and not precise it's too dark, and in the box nothing , i advice you to improve your communication. Sorry but it's zero on all the line........................one French customer.
Every time I hear this soundtrack I think TBS even if the video isn't related to them. What is it anyway?
Trappy, I noticed there was no access to the USB port on the gimbal, so you had something plugged into the port on the back of the GoPro to get the video out. Do you sell this part?
Riley
if the camera is on solid materials and not with anny softa material it cold be shaking, its alsow iportent to record with 60 FPS on your camera :) hope it helps :)
The main question i ask everybody, and nobody but you could answer is:
-How do you isolate the camera from the vibration?
(except for balancing prop and motor)
Bye Trappy
Very cool. I want to setup an autonomous security system with 3 of these on rotation. How long do you think they will last? Or is it too much strain on the hardware.
Looks like a very well engineered product, the price is probably reasonable but still I couldn't Justify spending that much. Maybe one day :)
anything with the same bolt pattern fits. prop size is another story
What did you put into the back of the GoPro? Looks like a much better way of getting live out than with the USB port.
why would you connect the Autopilot Naza with the video TX EzUHF? I didn't get the point, thanks for the help :)
why would you connect the Autopilot Naza with the video TX EzUHF? I didn't get the point, thanks for the help :)
Why dont you use PPM for EzUHF to Naza? Only one servo cable would be needed.
Very reasonable? $600 for just the frame! Granted, the gimbal is part of it but geez, thats a steep price
How much does the whole kit cost?
Great video thanks but can't see half the details... Hope you can make another with better lighting.
Whats that flashing light thats under the tbs discovery arm when you turn it on? Where can i get one?
What kind of tape did you use to do that multi-pin soldering?
wimper :( such a beautiful machine i wish i had the money, time to go get another job!!
Which combo is this one? And what soldering station is that?
Very nice hardware! which Radio TX do you use? Would you suggest to use a FrSky?
I didn't appreciate the jump cuts in the video. Makes it harder to follow!
Love those screw drivers. Anyone know the company that makes them? thanks
Leider viel zu teuer!
Das "How to" video vom "normalen" Disco finde ich viel detallierter, hier ist nicht genau zu erkennen was gemacht wird, die schnitte sind auch zu schnell. Liebe ein paar Minuten länger machen, gerade beim Gimbal wäre etwas mehr Bildmaterial schön!
i have a question is your gimbald system work with go pro hd 1 and 2?
Can se 2.4 on the tbs without a second battery
Hi! Is it possible to continue to use the 5V VTX cable if I change the circuit to use with a 12V tx? Thanks
yes sure. just be careful that the receiving end must support 12V! :)
is the battery tray same size like on original tbs ?
I'm jealous... Of your soldering iron, It's awesome.
Shame no one in the UK stocks the kits :(
Can't wait should be soon, I'm batch 2
That is some impressive multi-pin soldering at 4min 58sec onwards...
im from hong kong ,can u post the link so i can order it ? does it have long range ? if yes then whats the max record ?
+Jo Jo you can buy it from our website www.team-blacksheep.com directly and pick it up from our office. we're located in Kwun Tong :) long range, yes. we flew max to 4km. check out some of our hong kong videos to get an idea of what the drone can do
i dont have to disconnect the sbec from the escs, right?
When is batch 2 expected to ship?
Is it compatible with 12" propellers?
I have the original TBS Discovery, and it can barely fit 10 inch props. I'm pretty sure the TBS Discovery pro won't be able to fit 12 inch props, or even 11 inch props
i should have one of these! so sweet!
Really cool stuff!! I love u Guys
Very nice! I can't wait to get mine!
Visual how to works for me. Thanks, great job.
what is power consumption of gimball itself?
You make it look so easy, such a beauty of a quad, now go have some fun flying it and lets have some more of your amazing flight videos. As soon as you have the "build it" and "law mate" tuned options I'm placing an order.
found this video very useful
Where to buy this kit
Lighting is really bad
i really need to get one of these.
I want this quad baddd
Good video. Now, I want one!
Commentary would be nice
Commentary would be nice

Неслабая стабилизация.
