    Sorry, but this video is a horrible instruction video. Its way to dark and the cutting makes it very hard to follow.

      @g0llum-rc878 9 років тому +1

      This manual I understand a lot better than the other even if the quality is bad. Before nags about others, it is better to make your own stuff better times.

      G0LLUM-RC In fact I did my own instruction videos about the TBS Disco Pro on my channel in the meantime. :-) Feel free to visit my channel and compare them with this video.

      Do you really think I do not know your videos? I would not write if I did not know !!!
      Meinst du wirklich ich kenne deine videos nicht? Ich würde das nicht schreiben wenn ich die nicht kennen würde!!!

      @ArthurKonze 9 років тому

      G0LLUM-RC Well, you complained about people who criticize about things, but don't do them better on their own. I am fully with you, but as I said, I didn't just criticize. Instead I really made a series about building the Disco Pro on my own. I personally like my videos better, but it's up to everyone to decide about that on his own. :-)

    the soldering is actually easier than a DISCOVERY. so if you've built a DISCOVERY then this takes a bit more time but is actually easier.

    that's the TBS GoPro Live out cable. we'll have it available as a separate purchase shortly.

    Looks very nice. Of course ther would have to be a tbs guy builds it for me option, because I'd be to lazy for such a long build :-)

  • @TeamBlackSheepFPV
    @TeamBlackSheepFPV  11 років тому

    yes, covering it and having flux do the rest of the job. you need a good soldering iron and the rest will be taken care of by the flux. the solder does not stick to the black part of the board, so it flows right into the "cracks".

    JP, that's a WXP120 (120W) stencil with the biggest tip that they sell (can't remember the dimensions). Works a charm for this kind of work.

    Hello nastycop420. Each month I am buying components for my TBS Pro build. Just received my Pro Gimbal board from firstpersonview.co.uk - TOO EXCITED. Soon as I receive my next paycheque it's NAZA V2 + GPS. Please tell me what screwdrivers you're using in this video as they look quality! So difficult to find nice ones... Thanks!

  • @hounddog1011
    @hounddog1011 11 років тому

    Nice setup. Definitely a nice video machine, but I got to wonder how many of the people who order this actually can get it together like the TBS dudes do. That is an awful lot of soldering and putting of things together, like gimbals. I have done it, but it aint for the meek. Anyway, nice design for FPV/ video et al.

  • @blackmennewstyle
    @blackmennewstyle 11 років тому

    Wow great stuff for FPV, very cool video, just one question: using a gopro for FPV camera, is it a good idea?

  • @silverburn55

    Slow down! You're going too fast on the gimbal section. Also - better lighting! Can't see half the stuff on the gimbal section. The original Disco video was better.

    Indeed I was amazed as Gareth at your soldering skills too, thanks for clarifying you be be mortal after all!
    I see your soldering station may be a Weller WX1 (control unit), most grateful if you can tell me what wattage iron and tip you used, as I may decide to build one myself rather than go for the "build it" option, as I think I will learn far more about the quad that way. Thanks, and keep being awesome!

  • @gbrandwood
    @gbrandwood 11 років тому

    5 minutes in, you start soldering. It looks like you are just covering the entire contact area in solder but when you move the soldering iron out of the way, each tiny terminal is individually soldered. Are you a wizard? I take it you are just highly skilled and us mere mortals should just solder each terminal carefully, ensuring they are all separate and do not touch each other at any point?

    any idea why my gimbal keeps going shakey and beeping? I cant get it to work properly.
    and im using PPM with ezuhf when i connect to naza it shows my rudder is all the way on one side and even after calibration the rudder seems to be the only problem. any ideas?

    Nice equipment! I want to get one! However, your video goes by too fast. And, you have to be a "speed reader" to read the text comments! Is it possible to create an additional more detailed and comprehensive video of the build? Thanks! You Guys make great stuff!

  • @stormmultirotors2506

    Trappy, I noticed there was no access to the USB port on the gimbal, so you had something plugged into the port on the back of the GoPro to get the video out. Do you sell this part?

    The main question i ask everybody, and nobody but you could answer is:
    -How do you isolate the camera from the vibration?
    (except for balancing prop and motor)

    Leider viel zu teuer!
    Das "How to" video vom "normalen" Disco finde ich viel detallierter, hier ist nicht genau zu erkennen was gemacht wird, die schnitte sind auch zu schnell. Liebe ein paar Minuten länger machen, gerade beim Gimbal wäre etwas mehr Bildmaterial schön!
