  • Aquabound have entered the Whitewater paddle market and their first entry the Aerial is out and already impressing paddlers on the water. Aquabound have added some really interesting features that make this paddle tough and super comfy to paddle with.
The revolutionary Lam-Lok protects the blades from hard knocks.
The flatter low profile ridge on the back of the blade keeps it moving smoothly through the water.
A triangulation on the shaft as oppose to the standard ovalisation we see increases the feel and comfort of the shaft.
Your hands will never slip with Aquabounds unique tacky coating on the shaft which increases grip.
Strong versatile and smooth to paddle with, the Aerial kayak paddle is an exciting addition to your Whitewater Kayking kit.

Reading the bumf online it states “blades feature a wide, flattened foam spine that simulates performance qualities of full foam-core blades. “
Do they feel buoyant like the Werner foam cores?
    I like a buoyant rudder 😅

Hello, The foam spine is quite small, it gives the blade a tiny bit of pop, but now where near as buoyant as say a Shogun or Odachi. It does make the blade super stiff though which is really like. The spine is also nice and flat, it makes the blade really controllable when slicing it through the water.

Do the carbon blades or shaft have buoyancy, in the way that could help you get the blade to the surface for a roll?

Hi there, the Aerial has a foam spine whch give's the blade a tiny bit of pop. It isn't comparable to true foam core paddles but you do notice it for sure!
