This video is about Captain America & The Avengers All Bosses No Damage Arcade.
"Captain America and the Avengers" is a classic arcade game that was released by Data East in 1991. It's a side-scrolling beat 'em up game that allows up to four players to play simultaneously. The game features iconic Marvel Comics characters, including Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Vision, who join forces to save the world from the evil Red Skull and his army of supervillains. Gameplay involves players progressing through various stages filled with enemies, bosses, and obstacles. Each character has unique abilities and attacks. Captain America has his shield, Iron Man has his repulsor beams, Hawkeye uses his bow and arrows, and Vision has his energy blasts.

I don't know why they couldn't use the sentinel name and they only called him giant robot. I though it was because it belongs to X-Men and they may had problems with the rights, but then Jugernaut appear and they named him without problems...
But they changed his helmet. Which was weird.

It probably comes down to timing and publisher. The X-Men arcade game was out at the same time, would have used the licence for the sentinel, and was published by a different company. Not saying that’s for sure the reason, just a guess.
@@spiderprime also he was REALLY tiny compared to what Juggernaut SHOULD be sized...and I dunno about you I never seen Juggernaut ROLL at people...

Juggernaut's head resembles those Zaku units in Gundam series 🤣 My 5 yr old son and I play this on a Genesis clone console and we can only get up until the Mandarin and all the credits are used.. damn hard

Captain America and The Avengers arcade game, there is a giant robot boss that resembles a Sentinel.
I think it's supposed to be a Kree sentry. They were a problem in the early Captain Mar-vel stuff.

The Mech. Taco is my favorite Mexican villain!
It's just a bad translation since that's clearly a Robo Salsa.
I guess it's just a very bad traslation because it would have been Mech Octopus, i think they tried to put Mech Tako, Tako in japanese means Octopus but they also wrote it wrong like the mexican food wich is where i'm from.

I'm guessing they ran out of ideas for villains and just made a random robot Juggernauts colors and called him Juggernaut. Really he's the only one who doesn't fit in with the game, well aside from 2 Controllers.
This remake is absolutely incredibly done. I can't believe I haven't seen this before. The remastered and reworked voices are absolutely perfect

Nice of the Skullbot to obligingly back into the Red Skull, fall on top of him, and blow up his ride (and subsequently the entire base).
I remember playing this game, and never been beyond the sea stage. Though I played with Vision or Iron man

The SNES port of this really sucked. They gave the enemies invincibility after a single hit, which meant no combos. You had to punch and move or else you'd get hit right back.

Didn't the shield throw and bash cost health in the original arcade game? I seem to recall special moves costing some of your health so you couldn't use them too often and spent more quarters. Just curious, great vid.

This game is not bad, but I think it would have been much better if they made it like streets of rage such as more characters to fight and more background levels/stages. Game is kind of short if you ask me!
Cap's shield really does defy physics.
Oddly enough the sega genesis had better audio than the arcade version.

My best friend and I beat this game at the arcade at a HyperMart (huge Walmart). We got a comic book for finishing it.

I remember begging my dad for quarters at Pizza Hut so I could play this.
What a dirty game. When the boss is about to die, the last bit of life takes forever to wear down. I know what the player would do. They'd charge in fists flying because they'd think: "Oh, just another hit or two and this boss is toast." Then he ends up killing them to cheat out another quarter.
I always felt like captain America would have been more popular, if he got his own TV cartoon series like spiderman and x-men!
This game was the tits on the SNES. Played the crap out of it back in the day.

This is what I always hated about these kinds of games. Cap can't punch enough to beat Juggernaut or Ultron.
On the sega genesis version, you could stun lock Mandarin with dive kicks as long as you crossed over with each one, I wonder if that would work here
