The second tune is called The Cock and The Hen. Perhaps the lads got it from Cathal Hayden, or it got mixed up with another common alternative name for the tune - Cathal McConnell's.
This has to be named after Whalley Range High School for Girls in Manchester. My sister went there. She didn't have a very good time there, so I know she'll get a kick out of this tune.
Whalley Range was a part of Manchester that Mcgoldrick (he wrote the tune) used to live and he wrote this when he moved from this area.
