@@johntore6108 I actually commented about the seat issue in another comment further down the thread. Plus, the standard parts are much more available than the elusive acr parts. So, there are a couple of possibilities for why it doesnt have the correct parts. Confirmed Not an ACR. It's missing the ACR emblems, ACR Seats, ACR Suspension, and ACR BBS Wheels.
Not a ACR by all mean. The seat dont have cutouts for race harness and ACR logo on the seats.
Totally right..
The country accent has raised to level 10 in this one.
Still one of my all-time favorite cars! Quite a flock of them here in Houston, several mid 10-second versions, with a handful of mid 9 second examples.
I soooooooo remember these cars beating up on mustang gts at the track back in the day. I was like damn
As a fellow srt4 owner great buy I bought mine back in March from Massachusetts from a guy who had it for 12yrs 56k-168k miles very solid people gunna hate cuz and say it's just a neon but guess what it's a neon that will gap most of these cars with ease
❤ your son's reaction to acceleration.
You just turned your son into an SRT 4 fanboy for life!
Poor kid...
I love that silver Eclipse in the garage. I used to own a 4th gen and I loved it so much
Mine was stock 4 cylinder but I still loved it
Could keep it an give it to your son cause he's gunna love that car
not an ACR. an acr would have the bbs rims, the acr stickers on the driver and passenger front door and the viper seats would have the pass thrus for harnesses that say acr. just a plain jane neon srt4.
Dude, i love the srt.. i am interested in the delica , if you sell when arrives..
Fun unpretentious car, love it🚗🚗🚗
Export the neon back to Japan for some big yen
My first car i buy 100% for myself is gonna be a neon srt4. I've always loved them
You won't regret it. Just make sure you take the time to find a good one which can be tedious. I'm currently on my 2nd one and I've owned GTIs, Mazdaspeed 3, Wrx, fiesta st and prefer it over all of them. Just something about it's raw feel I love. Find one that wasn't beat to death with low miles(which is hard not gonna lie) and it'll last you a long time with proper routine maintenance. Took me almost 2 months to find an '05 with 65k miles but it was worth the wait for sure. Good luck!
This guy can’t decide if he loves Srt-4’s or hates them.
Like any neon owner
It's fantastic car, I ownened one, new of the dealers parking lot, 2002. I loved it. Little bit loud for trips, otherwise cool car for a young guy
Doug demuro brought me here :)
Late to the comment party but OMG! Lol I wish I’d made the premier. This video had me rolling! Welcome back brother! Can’t wait to see what you do next. 🍻👍
I really like the SRT4. Shure, i like the EVO more but If its a newer evo or sti, i preffer the Neon
Yeah highly doubt it's an ACR. Gotta check the VIN. That has the factory skinny 17x6 wagon wheels, no ACR decal on the front doors and no ACR seats. ACRs also had bigger sway bars and special white Tokico shocks that had dampening adjustment and shorter spring perches. Nothing too special honestly if it was. EVO guy needs to lose the goofy red mud flaps.
More than likely not an ACR. Who replaces the ACR bbs wheels for the stock normal SRT-4 wheels
Someone who destroyed two wheels and found that it's cheaper to buy 4 used standard SRT4 wheels and 4 brand new tires than it is to replace two of those BBS wheels.. without tires.
@@derektrieglaff9103 Unlikely, also, doesn't have the ACR Suspension or ACR Decals or ACR Seats
@@johntore6108 I actually commented about the seat issue in another comment further down the thread. But, I'll make my mark about that here too... it's possible that it was a theft recovery.. where the owner got it back.. and the insurance was crappy.. where they paid out.. but not nearly enough to replace all the expensive acr parts.. so they just stuck standard SRT4 parts on instead. Plus, the standard parts are much more available than the elusive acr parts. So, there are a couple of possibilities for why it doesnt have the correct parts. And it also could be the reason he paid 4k for the car.. instead of 9k for it.. cuz, it has a totalled or rebuilt title. Soooo... there could be reasons for the discrepancies.
@@derektrieglaff9103 Don't take this the wrong way, I understand you, it is unlikely but possible even though it is missing every ACR piece. Also, even if it is a red SRT-4, you still got a Great buy even if it turns out not to be an ACR. I'm not trying to bother you. It's Nice and you got a Great Buy non the less!
It’s missing the ACR badging. It’s possible it was removed and not replaced from that paint job. I think the ACR badging was just decals.
ACR - American Club Racer.
I bet that pissed off some of the people that were already mad about him coming back. But this car is the reason I'm going to start watching this channel.
@@TheCFD_Dude Me too.
Acr is an American Club Racer, you can run the vin to verify. Different struts, factory 16in bbs wheels. Couple other changes.
Get that antenna off 😁
And there’s a mitsubishi eclipse in the garage. Lol. I’ll stay tuned to see the work you put into that beauty! Go Neons
Why wouldn't you know what kind of car was the monte carlo lol dummy.
Bear 101 he drives a Evo, and just bought a STR4, so don’t expect to much knowledge on American cars 😂
This fool thinks he’s Japanese, spends some time in Japan and forgets about his culture. It was very hard to watch honestly
How is motor compared for 4g63t in 95-99 eclipses
Idk about all that evo killer stuff lol
Didn’t know there were any car tubers in sc worth watching, new sub ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hell yeah i love the srt4
Dude you need to jump on a SRT4 forum. You have lots to learn about this platform. Good luck with the car!
Hill billy accent is back!
Not following the crowd is good its more exciting than a Civic or Fit
Doesn’t seem like a acr🤨
Im sure is not a ACR
Confirmed it's an ACR
@@YourCarBro Its Missing the ACR Emblems, ACR Seats, ACR BBS Wheels, and ACR Suspension.
Bruh, SRT-4s are amazing cars. That Neon is my dream car
It could be a acr but it doesn’t have the bbs wheels or the cuts in the seat. Solid buy overall.
Not a mopar fan but always liked the Neon SRT4. Nothing wrong with them. Now, a 'regular' Neon could be a different story. lol 🥴 Welcome back to the US! 👍
Evo Killer?
That’s a bit of a stretch 😂
Not really mine eats them for breakfast anyday all day...
CtheDead209 yeah a stock Evo right?
Stock vs Stock a SRT4 isn’t beating a Evo
@@connoisseuroftigolbitts no a stock srt4 will outrun a same year evo just fine I mean if you want to compare it to newer evos. Well ok then hellcat will out run it in reverse. What's your point? My 05 neon srt4 easily out runs an 05 evo both stock none weighs just under 2900 pounds and an evo weighs 3700 easy win all day everyday. I also have 2010 subaru wrx and it stock will outrun an evo without breaking a sweat.
CtheDead209 my point is the SRT4 will Not out run an Evo of any year
Evo 1 through 9 will smoke an SRT4 stock vs stock without a breeze
CtheDead209 Subaru’s are trash
I emailed your shop regarding some questions I had regarding where I currently live. But I still haven’t heard back
What a scrub 😆“I don’t know what ACR means” get your game up brother. Smh 🤦♂️most under rated vehicle. I’ve owned my NSRT4 since day one and it’s literally the most reliable/budget vehicle I owned besides maintenance. If you know what your doing this car won’t do you wrong. Ashamed you don’t know about more about mopars NSRT4 or CSRT #Domestic Mopar baby
Trumpis God pretty reliable if you take well care of it bro I’ve had mine for 4 years on the 14 of February, hardly any issues like any other 15 year old car... try to get one around 100k -130k Miles
@Trumpis God just bought mine 130k miles runs great best 2500 ever no boost leaks no 3rd/4th gear syncro issues/pop outs just amazing. My sisters husband got an acr last year with big turbo and e85 conversion have track records of 9.89 in the 1/4 cars are fun and reliable if you MAINTAIN these beautiful machines
@Trumpis God depends how hard you look there is another here for 2800 146k miles I havent checked it out so cant vouch also 1 with no power steering big turbo upgrade e85 tune for 5k very clean 85k miles
Trumpis God they’re reliable If you fix the basic little nuances that need to be taken care of to have a solid car (check out SRTFORUMS.COM for more info). I’ve had my 03’ since 05’ and it now has 150k on the odometer. Great fun little car that likes to hurt people’s feelings once in a while.
Fuck yeah!!! Srt4s are ahead of their time! Let's go babyyyyy!!
Not a “Evo Killer” haha
Yes
Back in the day SRT4's used to hurt people's feelings from a roll. You JDM Fanboys are the worst
I beat plenty of evos back in 2005 with mine.
Hey...be nice to the srt. They're really fun to drive, and put a smile on my face. At the end of the day, that's all that matters.
save that shit, bag it, put in storage, save it for the kid's 16th bday
i actually subscribed once u said everyone’s gunna unsubscribe, srt4 neons are BADASS!
I mean if you’re into a neon then ok 😅
@boostedsil40 not so much only difference between the two is a turbo and a boost gauge still fwd interior is the same.
@@coachmcguirkmrs8805 still a lancer ....
@boostedsil40 facts, people are dumb as fck nowadays
I mean if you're into men then,ok🤫😂 ##stophating
I had an SRT-4 in 2004 and raced it in Germany and on the autobahn. My car was in SuperStreet Magazine in May 2005. Awesome car that takes upgrades well. I drive an STI now though. :-)
“evo killer”??? Know Your Limits
Lol 34 thumbs down 🤦♂️, good video. The car isn't horrible lol not a bad grab, btw love the national anthem at the end 😂😂😂
