Would just like to say thank you for your video. I once worked for a guy that does these things and I was to learn as we go. He placed me into a position where I had to pretty much figure out a keypad on my own. Thing is, as I told him, I had no background in this field, gave me the manual but it didn't make sense to me. What seemed to be a pain with him was SO EASY to understand in your video. Thing is he didn't explain or rather, didn't effectively explain certain things. I understood everything in this short and simple video. Right now I am venturing out on my own and your video has given me the simple knowledge of what to do. Thanks
There is an emergency exit terminal on the circuit board of the Key Pad. You can just wire a button to that terminal and the lock will open when you push the button.
TO RESET WITHOUT KNOWING THE CODE: unplug the keypad power (i think its a 12 pin 6x2 black molex type) then from that plug, find the wires coming off the end of it that are BROWN, WHITE, and WHITE WITH YELLOW STRIPE. Cross those 3. Then plug the device in once you have them connected. This will put you into programming mode.\ from there type (NEW CODE) * (NEW CODE) * and then * to exit. all done.
how do i do a factory reset on keypad and how would set everything up. key pads red led stays continuously on and code doesnt work anymore and theres no history on what the master code is. im a maintenance tech at apartments let me know please
I live in a four story high, 129 unit apartment complex with my daughter and 1 yr old grandson. There are other families (with small children) that live here also. I suspect management uses these locks on all the windows because every night, the windows lock and won't budge. Lately, the heat in the complex had been uncomfortably too high, and i was unable to open the window. I was wondering if it could it be considered a fire hazard to use this method in such a large property? Just asking.
Hi Jace, You can use standard 22/2 low voltage wire, like this: www.frightprops.com/controllers-electronics/hookup-wire/22-2-low-voltage-wire-0946.html

How did it go with your crazzy as boss. Lol
Great video, thanks a lot!
Is there a keypad like this that logs the different codes used to gain access? This would help with knowing who has accessed a door and at what time.
Do you have to make it stop beeping every time you start it up?
How do I connect this to be a trigger for a Flex2? I have 12v relay but I do not have a female return.
Great video. Was wondering how to add a (PUSH TO EXIT) door button in the loop

What is the sequence to change the master code and user code for the door to stay unlocked till the code is put in again to lock it.
1 2 # (stops beeping)
0 0 0 0 * * (programming mode
1 0 2 then 0 0 1 (user code for 1 maglock followed by code)
1 2 3 4 # (password that opens maglock)
5 1 then 3 # (how long the maglock opens 3 second # confirms)
Super very usefull videos

Please consult the product manual. If you don't have a manual, contact us at sales@frightprops.com and we can send you a copy. Thanks!
if you lose power does the lock remain open or closed?
If you loose power it will open, so you have to have a UPS or No break with a backup battery for this situation.
hi do you have part number and who makes this keypad thank you
can the keypad take longer codes? how many numbers can you use for a code? How many codes can you enter in the keypad?
Up to 1000 codes 4-8 characters
Is there any way to make the keypad wireless opposed to wired connection?
We don't currently offer anything like that, but I am sure it does exist!
Hi, how a change the user code? We have only one. Thanks
do you need to use a diode ?

Hi this is Management.
We're not putting mag locks on every window, you crazzy as bitch. Do you know how much that would cost us.
I am using a enforcer keypad to turn on a contactor for tools
You can't do this w/ any keypad, you have to find one w/ an adjustable latch length. Not very many keypads have this feature.
How do I install two keypads one outside and one inside of my house for the same electromagnetic lock is it the same process?
You would use a "Push To Exit" button from the inside rather than a keypad.
Can you program a real a timer for the push to exit?
What keypad are you using?
how do we extend the wires from the mag lock to the key pad?

Use the D.A.P. procedure in the owners manual
001 is the second user....000 is the first user
Just look at the book
nice
It is an iei key pad.
Can I use this keypad on a electronic solenoid lock?
Yes, I have just finished setting this up for a solenoid lock.
