I liked how Billy was used this season because it felt like the Zeo days where he was behind the scenes working to help with the Ranger tech and speaking techno jargon! Only this time he could morph and help out the team in battle from time to time.
However, I didn't like that look in his eye when he realized that Zordon IS still out there somewhere. We do NOT need another Robo Rita situation...
I'm suprised that he came back in the first place. Considering that Haim Saban almost bullied him to death.
@@aliastheabnormal Saban is no longer in charge and David Yost knows the fans love him. With that being said I never read that it was actually Saban who was mean to him that other crew members.

I thought the Zordon thing was interesting, especially if the universe/PR as we know it is gonna be over.
Probably would’ve been better if at any point in the last 30 years David Yost had said to himself, “Maybe I should take an acting class.”
This season was... fine. It definitely would've improved if it was a 20-episode season like Netflix intended. If anything, the Hasbro Era seems to be the embodiment of "pin the point for later" and/or "check that box".

The finale has always sat weird with me personally. On the one hand, as a finale and farewell to one of the longest running continuities in children's television history, it's underwhelming to say the last. On the other, I found it fitting because this show has never been about blow out action scenes and epic fights. At its core, Power Rangers has always been a fly on the wall show; many seasons taking a microscopic look at a wider universe and focusing on one group of characters until thier journey has ended. Take "Countdown To Destruction" as an example. That was supposed to be the franchise finale so it was the big fight culmination of everything that had been building for the past five years. Evil wiped out across the universe... until Lost Galaxy when you have new villains who survived disintegration or redemption without adequate explanation.
Where am I going with this? Having one big, end all fight would feel weird to me in a way because PR has always been presented in a Ying Yang way. You can kill Mondo, Dark Specter, Dai Shi, Venjix or whatever but there will always be evil and good there to stop it. This was even made an explicit fact in Wild Force where the Orgs would rise again sometime down the line. There will always be good and evil in the universe we've been watching for thirty years; we're just leaving it behind. In some ways, ending unremarkably is about the most Power Rangers' way it could have. Ultimately, the biggest sin of Cosmic Fury is more its placement in the greater franchise than as a standalone show. As a standalone show, marketing and some questionable creative decisions not withstanding, I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a finale? I thought it was a fitting send-off if a dramatically overwhelming one for all the build-up.

I would have loved more past ranger cameos but I liked that they did focus on the main ranger team rather than just relying on nostalgia bating.
I think in that final Megazord battle, they should've brought ALL of them. As for voices and past rangers? Bring in the Lost Galaxy and Space rangers definitely, and maybe one Ranger each from Time Force, Lightspeed Rescue, Jungle Fury (could also bring in Jared or Camille) and maybe another Dino Charge Ranger, say Koda. Even for a scene or two. Each team mentioned had at least one Ranger who was evil or controlled by evil, exception to Time Force where Eric was more a rival and anti-hero. They each can provide insights to the team on how they brought their evil Ranger back (I know there's more seasons where this happened, and they could all work). Even if it's just one episode per Ranger/ team, it could work. Especially if those Megazords are highlighted in that final battle
I think they planned to have more appearances by past Rangers, but the episode count getting cut in half forced them to cut out those parts.
@@JohnWilliams-cr2sz i think every episode would have benefited by more run time. some more and other less with three biggest being the Fern becoming the Orange Ranger, Heckyl cameo, and the finale. the Javy coping with losing his arm would have been better if it was woven more thoughout the season instead of the single episode as well as Amelia growing into the role of red ranger and leader.

Weird fact; David Fielding (the guy who Zordon's mug is based on as well as the guy's original voice before the late Bob Manahan took over) believes it isn't actually Zordon who appeared to Aiyon. Instead, it was some kind of spiritual embodiment of every Ranger mentor past and present in the same kinda way AkaRed is the embodiment of every Sentai Red Ranger. What he says obviously should be taken with a pinch of salt as I don't think he had anything to do with the production but hey, I doubt exactly who that was will ever be revealed.
It's pretty obvious it was supposed to be Zordon, but I do like your idea. It makes it feel that much more eerie and creepy, but in a reassuring "I'm talking to the planet" kind of way. Got chills reading your comment!

interestingly enough, before we got the dumpster fire that is 'Super" MegaForce I came up with the idea that maybe after the Z wave Zordon basically became part of the Morphin Grid & as part of setting up a Gokaiger adaptation, he'd become an adaptation of AkaRed. Sadly, all we got was the laziest, cheapest and most disappointing adaptation possible awkwardly shoved into being the 2nd half of the Goseiger adaptation rather than giving each their own adaptation...oh what could have been
This season tried really hard to bridge the gap to SPD, almost to the point where half the team contributed to that mythology: from Javi's cybernetics mirroring Sophie's, to Amelia setting the precedent for a female Red Ranger on an intergalactic team, to Aiyon being an out alien running a business, to having a villain being motivated by profit gained through exploiting other galaxies a la Broodwing.
This season obviously isn't perfect, but you can tell a lot more care got put into it than most post RPM. ❤
Lord Zedd was spot on when be says "I'm extremely old and confused." That's how I feel when I watch the show .

Yeah, I think they borrow Zedd power rangers costume from the comics for the series. Since Zedd can't morph they give him all the plot armor he could handle

I think the sloppy wording is what made it so complicated, more than anything, with Amelia as "first female red ranger."
Because there's one thing that's very, *very* different about her compared to prior female red rangers; she's the first *primary* female red ranger. We've had a female red ranger for evil rangers (SPD), and we've had a female red ranger as a temporary member (Samurai), but never before has the MAIN red ranger of a season been female.
A Main Female Red Ranger for grand total of 7 Episodes. Wow, amazing. 😂

In context of the story, she was the leader. But her role in the show and team was still temporary.
I feel like Amelia being leader makes more sense then Izzy being leader they way they were written even in Dino Fury season 1. Even knowing that Cosmic Fury was not originally planned it always felt like Amelia was second in command her on the verge of being leader if you ever really pay attention to her story in Dino Fury
All of the rangers personalities were toned down because they switched the tone of the show a little bit
Jordan Fite put his foot into the 'sadder' moments for his character this season. His expressions almost looked like someone actually had died for real or impressed how lost he was. Thats rare in power rangers.
It's hard to believe that there won't be anymore adaptions from Super Sentai Series since the writers and producers have decided to move away from them and make plans to do a reboot version which I really don't know how it's going to work out. But I still wished they continued to more Super Sentai Series into the next Power Rangers Series like Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, Mashin Sentai Kiramager and Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger because I always wanted to see the version adapted into the next Power Rangers series storyline.
I personally have a very bad feeling about Hasbro's Power Rangers reboot. Adapting Super Sentai for all of these years is exactly what made Power Rangers what it is.
To paraphrase something Aiyon said to Zayto in PRDF season 1: "This is a mistake." But just like Zayto didn't listen to Aiyon about not greenlighting the creation of the sporicks... Hasbro is totally hellbent on doing this Power Rangers reboot. At this point, noone can stop them.
I just really hope that this reboot doesn't end up blowing up in their faces.

I would have loved to see a Zyuohger adaptation made to act as a sequel to Jungle Fury.
Maybe with the Shark and Lion rangers being the respective children of RJ and Jerrod.
It's so sad that they won't continue with the other sentai seasons, but whatever... ;-;

I really enjoyed Cosmic Fury. Binged all 10 episodes immediately. My only complaint is not seeing how overpowered Master Zedd became after absorbing six gods. It was pretty anticlimactic to seal him in that tube right away but still really enjoyed this season.
Tbf Zed destroyed every single Zord with one shot and many people I talked to seem to be forgetting about that scene

@@FloundBlacky I was gonna mention the potential Evil Z Wave as one things I liked from that outcome. I too like the idea of it being the inverse Zordon Z Wave of it potentially wiping out the existence all of righteousness from the universe. Puts a huge stake on the universe from destroying the contained Master Zedd.
But like how evil grew back over time after the Zordon Wave, new good people could arise but surrounded in a universe where evil is law and justice, and good is dumb. Small resistances would rise and fall against large masses of evil...
I guess it's fair to points out that Amelia did made an huge mistake during her leadership, she guided the Rangers to Eltar and that cost Zayto's life.
I believe it could be adressed how that was mostly an error of her judgement as Billy adverted her to wait a little, and maybe that would be the case in an longer season, but she indeed made an big mistake.
Also i think that her progression to Red was really natural, she remained identifiable, just naturally different as the leader she came to be, needing to have an different position in the team, but we still see who she is specially in the way she interacts with her teammates and her family.
And i think it's kinda odd to diminish her being an main red when the previous ones where an villain and an red ranger that was more an complement to Jayden's character than her own character, not diminishing them, but Amelia is the first one that is an indeed main and red ranger leader that is an character for her own, while Zayto still had an amazing arc, and probably now is one of the most important characters of the whole Power Rangers Mithology, i think that he passing out all the time was kinda irritating but in the end, i think he ended up as the most important ranger of the season.
Zayto in execution got done super dirty. This show was more about Amelia than anyone and Zayto was clearly an after thought even in Dino fury. This was just a way to make that happen and for people to praise them for sidelining another black red ranger. and no one can argue any series where there was a black red ranger and they had storyline center stage. You can try but I can definitely name a character that was more important in their series.

Even being the red ranger, she still isn't the most important character nor did she get her own arc. Not to mention that she only had the role for grand total of 7 episodes. Beating Lauren's record by 1-2 episodes, wow amazing. 🙄 Also with the reboot being rumoured to have a female red but with a male green leader and main character, I'm starting to think that Power Rangers isn't the feminist and progressive show many fans claim it to be. 🤔

But the fact they are going out of their way to make the Green ranger the face of Power rangers now is kind of a slap in the face to an already established precedent and feels like they moved the goal post. It would still feel that way if they had a male red ranger but decided to have a female green ranger be the leader, just make her red and a leader. But because the rumored green is the Tommy Oliver character they are gonna bend over backwards to make that mean more than any tradition and the sucks imo.
@@yusei151I don’t really get where you’re coming from. Multiple times in PR, the red ranger wasn’t the leader. I mean, most of mighty morphin had Tommy in white as the leader, Time Force had Jen as the leader wearing pink, Taylor is the leader in wild force and she wears yellow, Shelby was arguably the leader in Dino Charge and she wore pink, etc

Honestly as much as i love Cosmic Fury it's funny to me just how many things were controlling it - netflix, hasbro, the writers, toei and honestly i'm suprpised that saban and disney weren't invined just for the sake of it. Joking ofc, but still it's insane and i wish that the future series will not have to go through all this just to be made.

I only wish there'd been eps that dealt with the rebellion against Zedd, show don't tell, & Ravi shoulda had PTSD & been able to deal with it through a few eps, also Zedd NEEDED that metallic tinge from the old days which came back somewhat at the tail end of Dino Fury. Other than that, I enjoyed the season & I look forward to what's next.

As we've seen in past power rangers seasons, the Red ranger doesn't inherently mean the leader.
This is something we immediately saw early on in power rangers when Rocky became the next Red ranger. He was not viewed as a leader. He then became zero blue.
Seem can be said for TJ in turbo.
Those were different situations tho. As for Rocky, he was coming into a team with an established leader in Tommy. With TJ, he actually was the leader of that Turbo team. He only became the Blue Space Ranger because there was already a Red Space Ranger who naturally became the leader due to his experience. Tho TJ would be second in command of that team. Really, the only real examples of Red Rangers not being leaders of their teams right off the bat are Aurico and Wes of the Alien & Time Force Rangers respectively. Amelia was actively made the leader of the team in Zayto’s absence.

Recently I watched power rangers up to light speed. Especially for the Zordon era, Turbo was a weak season. TJ was only red for half a season. TJ didn't give off the same leader vibes as Jason, Tommy, even Andros.
So I use TJ as an example to show that Amelia wasn't bad as a red ranger. It gave off the same vibe or a mid-season team swap.
Honestly, I was kinda thinking that, when the rumor of Ollie being turned evil started, I was thinking they were gonna combine the Blue Cosmic Fury suit with parts from HebitsukaiMetal (the Silver from Kyuuranger, who got corrupted for an arc).
Honestly it should have been 16-20 episodes so that some arcs could have been stretched and not rushed like javi losing his arm and getting a new arm should have taken a round 6 episodes, 2 episodes where he starts to adjust to being armless then get the Robo arm only to spend the next 4 episodes learning to use the arm.
Fern becoming a ranger only like 4 episodes before the finale doesn’t really work all that well Imo, that should have been maybe 7-8 episodes where she first morphs and then has to be trained to fight before being more than a backup ranger, ollie was perfect as a bad guy, unfortunately the switch back to good was extremely rushed, I would have made the turn about arc go for probably 5 episodes, where he turns around and has 2-3 episodes where he without the morphin grid fights for the good side and then obtains the cosmic orb instead of just off screening it.
Zayto’s final arc was just ok, personally I could tell from the episode we get zayto back I figured he was gonna have something about the morphin masters make new mentor type of crap. Izzy and fern kinda just have no real chemistry in cosmic fury which I hated, it felt like Izzy was just pushing her away while she was just pushed front and centre again, Aiyon was probably my favourite character this season, he was just what he should have been, the support cast was fine I guess, we could have had more, the morphin masters being sucked up in episode 1 was weirdly a good choice.
Tldr the story needed more episodes to drag this story into perfection
I disagree on the Izzy Fern point, I thought they had good to great chemistry, (much more than Olly and Amelia lol) but the rest I agree on.
Nah I mean if they had chemistry but before fern became a ranger it felt very strained
I have a feeling that had this gotten more episodes, they would have flesh some of that out. Also maybe having Minh making an appearance to help them out.
For me my absolute favorite moment will forever always be daishi and Casey's final duel in jungle fury
I really enjoyed it, I thought it was really funny in the most cheesy way possible and I haven't enjoyed anything Power Rangers this much since I first watch Hyperforce

I've been a fan of the Disney era all my life. Wild Force was my very first season, my first toy set was from Mystic Force, and Operation Overdrive is my all time favorite team.
Am I upset that we got shafted out of the season meant to celebrate 30 years of storytelling? Of course I am. Am I mad that the franchise as we know it will he sent off in an anniversary special that isn't a fraction as good as the two-parter Once a Ranger was? Absolutely.
At the same time, I would not stop anyone from finding joy in Cosmic Fury. There are some who like or even appreative of this season, but unfortunately I am unable to share the same sentiment.
Ollie and Zedd were my absolute favorite parts of this season! I really like Amelia stepping up and everything with Aiyon and Jave!
I respectfully disagree with you on Amelia being red sounds just like everybody else having issues with her being promoted when Zayto didn't have an issue with her being a ranger but at least you still enjoyed this season
Besides, the difference between Amelia and Charlie and Lauren is that we already knew Amelia, she was a leading permanent lady. Zayto didn't come back like Jayden did to reclaim his role as red ranger. She also didn't get her powers taken like Charlie. Amelia is what wouldve happened if Kimberly was left in charge instead of Tommy. And Kimberly was a great character
my fav parts of the season was Mucus’s reappearance, Squillia was the goat btw she carried the season, and the Olly stuff, it was great tbh. 🤭 I don’t agree with all the points on Amelia. The one thing I will say abt her is that her being a rafkonian was a dumb and bad plot line to me, it felt like she was js pushed into that role for no reason, it also wasn’t used very good imo. I thought it was a good natural transition, but I do think Izzy is imperfectly perfect for the role. And would’ve helped with the Fern storyline and why she was so worried abt being in space with her girlfriend. (My favorite ep was the metal band one. And Aiyon and Zayto should’ve kissed at the end 😭😭 I highkey ship them /hj they were very much relationship-ish the entire season lol)
It was good at first but, when I saw how they treated Master Zedd, it turned into an abysmal plot and storyline… Absolutely ridiculous to treat Master Zedd that way and literally nerfed him… So frustrating how they keep mistreating Lord Zedd in the series. He is arguably the best designed villain in the franchise and deserves a fitting ending. He could honestly become the most powerful villain the Rangers ever face and would be a fitting final boss to the whole series in general. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
honestly the fact that it was only 10 episodes which even without comericals the episode lengths were only just under 30 mins each... made them have to cram in so much in so little time, the zords were the weakest point tbh for me, i just loved how for fans of the super sentai counterparts... they used several different monsters from what i could see was at least 3 other seasons besides the loosly based on season they used, some plots were pulled right from it still, without spoiling anything my biggest issue was when black lost his arm and got the robot arm he ran into his parents? in the prison escape episode and they asked him flat out wtf??? then 2 episodes later it was just a non issue, being one that didnt watch the 1st and 2nd mini seasons of dino whatever it was called they are teens right?? or just out of highschool??? i personally would be asking quite a bit more then a what happened then never bring it up again, some things were wrapped up nicely here but honestly for me they need at least 3 or 4 more episodes to just honestly flesh out all the loose ends, octo boss unless i missed something was immortal (just like the sentai counterpart) so did she just say i quit and walked away after all this huff and puff of being the anti Z wave attempt at the end... it feels way too unfinished and they left the seeds there to say lets keep going
It's the best season since RPM (Not a high bar, Neo Saban shows were ass) , But imo not as good as most Disney era shows
However the short runtime really helps it alot, as they trimed most of the fat that didn't work

Cosmic fury is a fine season on its own, but all accounts this is the last season before the reboot, so that makes this the final power rangers season, and as a final season its bad.
Countdown to Destruction alone would be a better ending.
@@Nameless0061 that's perhaps one of the greatest finales in the history of Power Rangers. Indisputably its top five. I don't really think it's fair to compare it to that finale.

Cosmic Fury's Short Episode feels like Hasbro wanted to make their Reboot without Toei's envolvment.
This has been my favourite stretch of episodes in a long time. Probably because it was a lot more serious without so much reliance on cringey comedy duos
To me Hasbro dropped the ball with this series like Super Megaforce had dropped the ball. I watched Kyuranger and I say it deserved better than just supplying the robots. The same for ToQger since they took a villain from them. I get they wanted to send off the old power rangers for their reboot that’ll probably bomb, but they could’ve done that by using the actual powerup from Ryusoulger with the legendary sword and move from that.
THANK YOU! I am so glad I am not the only one that loved the Cool, cool, coolio line. It showed his human side despite transforming into an almost godlike being in their world
i liked this season but i wish we could’ve gotten more out of it considering it’s a final season. either way, i am very happy we got to see the dino fury cast and characters one last time before the reboot.

Fun fact; according to Bennett, Zayto was supposed to be a White Ranger but Hasbro didn’t like the idea of Curry becoming a White Ranger since he’s a man of colour and they didn’t want a repeat of the Thuy Trang/Yellow Ranger controversy. For unknown reasons, they then rejected a Titanium Ranger concept but then approved the “champagne” colour used in his final design and called him the Zenith Ranger. 30 years since it began and this show’s production is still batshit.

I really like how you explained a bit on the story on rangers that shouldn't be there.
Trip and Billy are two of my personal favorites in that aspect, as Billy as we all know was the nerd, however its his intelligence that makes him so valuable, alongside his patience.
Something that proves useful, as he analyzes the situation, before coming up with a solution, or not charging blindly into a fight.
With the help of his friends, he becomes a more well-rounded mature character.
Trip is more on the emotional scale, and his greatest strength is his compassion.
Trip really for me is the unsung hero of Time Force, since he did quite a few key things:
He explains to Wes the reason Jen is hesitant to allow him on the team, and that is a good reason, considering the consequences.
Its also because of this, he begins to plant the seeds for the Wes/Jen romance.
Of Course there's also the whole key role in Nadira beginning to break the cycle of hate in End of Time, however that is a bit more crucial, as if he didn't, Time Force may still be going.
Anyway Disney Brain, until next time, and may the power protect you.
I am just happy that after 30 we got an orange ranger as it is my favorite color
I've asked several fans about which Power Rangers shows I should watch. I decided to go by chronological order with the recommendations and start with Lightspeed Rescue. It's just as cheesy as I expected especially with the acting but I like the action sequences and that one episode about the firefighter (already forgot his name) trying to save a kid.
I'm shocked at the news that Power Rangers is over. Live action kids shows aren't as popular as ANIMATED kids shows nowadays but Power Rangers seemed to always get the most attention out of all of them.
Out of recommendations I would make for live action kids shows, there's Secrets of Sulphur Springs which gets darker and darker each season! And The Villains of Valley View which at this point is the closest thing to a decent live action kidcom that hasn't gotten cancelled yet!
I mean technically it's NOT over. Just getting a reboot next year !!

Edit: I’m gonna rewatch Dino Thunder and maybe even Mystic Force and Jungle Fury again. Man I miss that era of PR. Hell, I’d kinda wanna rewatch Dino Charge. Just because it’s still better than this.

My theory is that the reason why Minh never appeared in this season is because they wanted to set it up so it's unclear which happens first.
Arguments for Once and Always first: Billy's trials during this leads to him to become a more active Blue Ranger in Cosmic Fury. Plus the idea of Zordon being out there revives Billy's hopes of restoring him after previously losing hope when he accidentally brought back Rita.
Arguments for Cosmic Fury first: This shows the first signs of Billy being a power ranger again which will lead into Once and Always. The ending puts the idea of Zordon being out there which leads to Billy accidentally reviving Rita. Plus, considering the other teams are active enough to get turned into dolls, it makes sense that they are still active post Zedd's invasion.
Personally I think this shows that you can have a good show and tell a good story with just 10 episodes. Yes certain things were rushed but they did a great job with the time they had

The season was ok. Not the worst season ever, but certainly not the best, nor would I call it good by ANY stretch of the imagination.
To quote a comment I made on another video, "Some callbacks and repeats/"Homages" felt unearned, a lot of dialogue and acting was awkward (but better than most of modern PR), some stupid character moments, rushed asf plot in a lot of places, plus some things just felt rather pointless (like Heckyl's time as a ranger)."
If this is the end of PR as we know it...yeah, no, it wasn't a good send off.
There are things to like, of course, but it doesn't offset the negative qualities.
I don't blame the cast and crew for a lot of these as Hasbro definitely seems like it's responsible for a lot of what holds the show back. So...yeah, not really that much better a deal than what Nick and Neo Saban gave the franchise.
Overall I'd say...yeah I didn't miss much when I gave up on the show a few years ago.
People are free to disagree, of course. I just don't really feel like this season (or Hasbro PR) is at all good like some people are calling it.
This is probably the most ok season of rangers weve gotten maybe a slight notch below dino fury. Amelia being the new red I really like because she seems like someone who could step up as a leader which she did. But one thing that bothers me is at the end of the last episode where billy hears of zordon essence still being out there. It looks like it's trying to tie in with the start of the 30th anniversary movie which wouldn't be a bad thing if the movie was the power rangers finale instead of cosmic fury. Maybe it's just me but I'm not a fan of that.

i hate that Hasbro did the Good kyuranger villains dirty, like scorpio they made him a dancing-obsessed maniac, and Ikargen became a butler! These villains were really interesting in Kyuranger and could have done them better, considering they all took several episodes to defeat

I feel like there could be some AU with the other outcome of this. Since Zordon’s wave did not take out every Evil, there could be some good that Zedd’s wave did not hit like some going in hiding. But then it would be complicated as the Zelda Timeline and maybe even more than that.

I wonder if the original plan was to have Zayto become Zedd's brainwashed ranger but then got changed. It would make sense the theme of him returning, only to be related to Zedd somehow and that his revival came with a cost.
Among 10000 different issues i can find , why didnt Zayto or other Master Jerk offs volunteer to restore Javi s arm or Javi Himself ask fr his arm back a++holes !? Mac was beyond repair and he was turned human , Steel became human and you telling me they couldnt restore an arm ? It s an arm ! Javi immunity will be weak he will fall asleep on his feet or phantom pain , not to mention ptsd nightmares when lightning storms approach

i do agree with your assessment of the season. Fern becoming the Orange Ranger fell short compared to Kendall becoming Purple Ranager. it closer to Gosei handing out zords then earned kind of like the mystic rangers gaining the legend mode. the Heckyl episode felt like a longer episode with would have made it better. it would have been nice to see inside the prison and more of prison break battle. the finale having more in common with Legendary Battle then Countdown to Destruction being anticlimatic. too many times it felt like it kept getting in the way of itself. a few tweaks here and there would have made a better more compelling story.
It's a very interesting season
Simon Bennet said that when they first were making ideas for the season, they already knew red would be female and they were choosing between Izzy and Amelia. I'm Izzy's number 1 fan , but Amelia was the clear better choice. Izzy is the youngest of the team and has the least experience.

To me Cosmic Fury, was 'ok' there were missed opportunity that they could have done to make Cosmic Fury just a bit better, like the scene where it was stated that 'every' rangers where beaten, even though they'd have to some how go to SPD and RPM world to beat them, to me it feels really unbelievable that they'd lose to them anyways because each Rangers have unique abilities that can save them, or the writers and developers in cosmic fury could have found a way to allow any of the Beast Mopher rangers make a cameo with the Cosmic Fury rangers to help them out considering they are in the same universe.
I do feel it was rushed and it could of soo much better if they took their time and done it properly
PR Cosmic Fury was nice send off for the franchise. Not the same level as Countdown to Destruction but a fun ride nonethe less.

She naturally took charge of this. And her comforting others was because she understands that they feel lost just like her. Again, she started this mission so it only makes sense she makes sure her team doesn't feel down. Nothing about this feels forced. I'm surprised you didn't even consider her losing Ollie to be the reason she started leading the team. Instead, you straight up said it's forced.

I did enjoy this season, i wish it had been longer. I disagree with amelia not earning the right to be leader. This is the next step for her and a large part of her ability to handle things in a crisis im guessing stems from the time she briefly ran BuzzBlast, and also stems from what she learned from Ollie in terms of not allowing ones emotions to supersede logic.
In addition, i was always under the impression that Once and always took place AFTER Cosmic Fury even though Once and Always was shown BEFORE. Cuz its in the finale that they plant the seeds for Billy wanting to bring back zordon cuz now he knows Zordon is still out there, so your complaint about minh being there doesnt hold ice if its not actually Minh but Trini before she died.
Cosmic Fury would've benefited from not adapting anything from Kyuranger. I feel like things could've went more smoothly if it just was Dino Fury season 3.... but in space
To put it very simple for you ,i can skip Cosmic Fury and have the same ending as Dino Fury but worse ! Zayto gets a promotion and Javi gets a glove instead of his arm . Oh and do you know how easy it is for Lord Zedd to snap out or have someone else snap him out ? Is this the ending Billy had the idea of bringing back Zordon or is it after Once and Always ? How is destroying a statue snaps Ollie from not being Evil anymore ? With a sword i get it he had it on him making Tommy evil but this ?
This season wasn't as bad as Samurai and Megaforce, but it still shows how creativity bankrupt Hasbro is. If this is the end then I still have the old Power Rangers seasons I can rewatch as well as the new Super Sentai shows that continue on. I've also been watching older Sentai series and absolutely loved Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. They were so much better than the terrible PR adaptations of them.
How can you even mention this with Samufuckup and Megashit in the same sentance?! Cosmic fury is MILES ahead of that crap and one of the better written power rangers shows. Yes it should have been longer but they pulled it of. The Zord battles were really bad and dissapointing but that Is mostly fault of the sentai. Because the mechs of super sentai the last like 10 years are really boring design and they arent even trying to hide that they are toys anymore

I thought the way they handled Amelia as the red ranger was done really well. Zayto wasn't there, and she filled the leadership gap in a natural way before they were given new suits. The new suits then just recognized her being in command. Idk, it worked for me and I didn't question it. It just felt natural.
Exactly they spent a year without him and they developed a new dynamic. And Amelia was in charge of Buzz Blast for a month. She actually got a little bit of character development there in season 2 at the beginning.

Almost every single Power Rangers team had defeated their villains without their zords... and they want us to believe they lost against Lord Zed's army without them? The cheapest way to keep other Rangers from appearing in Cosmic Fury... 🙄🙄
That wasn't Myn. That was Trini. I tried to tell you that Cosmic Fury takes place before the Once a Ranger special in the timeline. Billy didn't know Zordon was still out there in the grid until after this finale. Therefore him trying to bring Zordon back and inadvertently creating RoboRita is a result of learning of Zordon still being in the grid after this season ended.
There's a scene where Billy is talking to the CF rangers on a laptop, I believe like, episode 7 or 8 or so.
If you look behind him, you can see that the tube where Zordon would be already has the crack in it. This confirms that O&A takes place before CF.
Therefore, that's not Trini, that's Minh.
Once & Always takes place during the timeskip within the last episode of Dino Fury. The Yellow Ranger in the Dino Megazord cockpit is Mihn.
It is Minh, Simon Bennett, the producer of the show already confirmed Cosmic Fury happens after Once & Always

While I enjoyed this season, I thought everything was good except for Zed, I just can't take him seriously. I did wish for 20-22 episodes to flesh everything out more. Hard to get all the cameo's without a contract.
So obvious question, what next? Will see the Cosmic Fury Ranger again next season? And the tough question, what will happen if it sucks?

Mmpr will always be my favourite but cosmic fury got me back into power rangers. I even went back and watched dino fury. And then i found rpm online so those are currently my top 4.
I find this season really bittersweet. I was first introduced to PR by Megaforce ironically, and I've only ever seen, Dino Charge, Time Force and Dino Fury otherwise. Rediscovering Power Rangers only to find out that it is never going to be the same show I watched as a kid makes me sad, but I feel like I saw the bookends and it makes it rather poetic
I've seen dinosaur spirits, I've seen rangers working with their predecessors and after a large time skip I got to see it again. I don't think I'd rather have my PR journey go any other way even if I could do it all over again
(Though I will always maintain that Swashbuckling pirate rangers looting monster ships would have been 7 year old me's greatest fantasy. Oh, Gokaiger, what you could've been...)

So much here, but when it comes to evil ranger Ollie he did excellent. My only complaint is he was only evil due to spell. I would of preferred not he legitimately turned evil due to something dramatic, like the death of his mom. Making him question the Rangers noble path and thus perhaps it doesn’t pay to be a Ranger. Yet I realize that this is PR so that sadly isn’t going to happen
I don't really like to be one of those "Hasbro Ruined Everything" people, but I don't understand why they shortened it down to 10. Even having just 3 more epsidoes would've sufficed. It was definitely not a good choice in my opinion.

Aiyon has always been childish. It doesn't make sense to make him the new leader. They tried that in the first season and it went miserably.
He's better now but he wasn't significantly more qualified than the other rangers.
And specifically after Zayto got sent through a portal, he is the opposite of what a leader should be.

I don't think so, Aiyon arc when he first appeared (besides his conflict with Zayto) was all about how he is not an leader type person, and that is fine, him being an more wild card type of ranger is not an demerit, is who he is, and it was what made his arc with Zayto this season so compelling.

I agree that Izzy would have been best as Red Ranger. Not only do you get your first female leader. You'd also get your first LGBT female minority as leader. Storywise it makes more sense too because you can add helping her brother who just lost an arm and trying to protect her girlfriend to be additional stressors she has to manage as leader.
I know Izzy was a bit annoying with her constantly shutting down Fern's multiple attempts to help the team. HOWEVER, I thought about it from Izzy's perspective; her brother just lost his arm! Now, her non-ranger powered girlfriend wants to jump into the action as well? Shoot, I'd shut it down too if I had a girlfriend in that position.
Also, people online were giving her crap for saying how her brother would be sad about not being able to play music due to losing his arm. That's logical for her to react that way because she knows how important playing instruments is to him.
Sadly, I can't say too much about Izzy this season. She was my favorite ranger character in Dino Fury, but she was moreso the overprotective girlfriend this time around. Evil Ollie stole the show for me! Dude's acting was great and his evil blue ranger suit was WAY better than the other Cosmic Fury outfits. Felt like a major downgrade when he went Cosmic Fury Blue in the finale...
I had no issue with Amelia being the new Red Ranger, but I did have a problem with Zato fainting each time he was onscreen for 2 minutes smh

I liked Once A Ranger because it felt like it knew that fans of the original would be watching. I didn't like this because it felt like a kid's shows through and through. Some of the dialogue was bad, but not as bad as the Nickelodeon Era. It just felt like it was written to be simple because it didn't want to be too complicated for kids. I didn't hate it, but I expect better whenever PR returns. I don't expect a Rated R show but actually feel TV14 at least. I want PR to grow up, like the fans that love it. The show matured from In Space through to Time Force because they knew that the kids watching the show were growing up too. I'm not expecting it to be as mature as Cobra Kai, but start looking at the Boom Comics for inspiration. Because they're the ones doing it right.
My thoughts, Once A Ranger was actually good, so I expected this to be good. I was a little disappointed because although it wasn't bad, it was just fine I guess. Almost average.
Felt like a kids show? It IS a kids show. PR is a damn kids show. Going back and watching MMPR is TOUGH. Don’t let the nostalgia blind you. As iconic as the show was, it was horribly acted and written lol. Once and Always was no different. Cosmic Fury was no different either. But I hand it to Cosmic Fury for being willing to break some of the usual conventions of the show. But you’re delusional to knock it as feeling like a kids show, when that’s what it AND the show overall is.
